Chapter 12.

Apparition.

No matter how far away or how well Cassie had kept herself hidden, that same night while she was sleeping, a strong blizzard opened the windows of the room where she was already staying, she immediately got out of bed all disheveled and went yawning to the window to close it and then the first thing she got when trying to close the window was the Beast, who had climbed up there, the bracelet that he had given her previously indicated that the girl was in that room, she scared almost screamed but the Beast entered without any problem through the window and while she backed away, the Beast advanced, so trying to grab a little consciousness the girl turned around and ran to try to open the door of the room and get out of there, however, just when she was going to grab the door knob a huge body joined her making her collide head on and face to face with the Beast, but she did not stay still and backed up to the window, because she thought it was better to become a ghost that inhabited those lands than to have to being devoured by that Beast, although she was not really afraid of him as such, but of the pain that death could inflict on her through him, and perhaps that was the reason why she was trying to escape from him... and when she was about to jump out the window she was grabbed by one of her ankles and lifted up completely inverted, the Beast lifted her up to his height and with a deep voice practically roared at her, ¡¡¡YOU'RE MINE!!!, and he put her on his shoulder as if she were a sack of potatoes, she immediately screamed for help, and began to kick while pulling the Beast's hair, scratching him and biting him trying to gain time until someone came in, when he was positioning himself at the window to jump with her, she felt a huge emptiness thinking that from that height she would not survive, then they heard some footsteps nearby which made the Beast get a little distracted and she ran off him, trying to get to the door as quickly as she could…The Beast then grabbed her by the neck and lifted her into the air applying force without hurting her, so she screamed at him, GET ME DOWN YOU FILTHY BASTARD, but the Beast brought his face close to her face and growled at her telling her that his name was BASTIAN, she didn't stay still and he put her down, then she started kicking him until he started to back away, when the door knob started to turn her nerves shot up to the highest power, while Bastian simply watched her with curiosity, then as the door slowly opened she pushed him out the window and she froze, because Muriel came in and asked if she was okay since he had heard his screams for help, but she was immersed in her thoughts and a little surprised, so she looked out the window to look for the corpse of the Beast on the floor, but there was absolutely nothing, not a single sign that he was there and then Muriel's voice sounded again a little closer to her saying: everything is okay, she turned around and said: I just had a nightmare, there's nothing to worry about, and it was then that Muriel said to her: ¿Do you want to have some chamomile tea so you can relax a little more?... to which she immediately nodded and followed him in silence...
