The small room was beginning to fill to the brim with all sorts of things. Yet upon walking back into the guest room to inspect the bed:
“No! Mildew!”
The bed was in fact, molded. There was no use, Aiko and Momo would have to share a bed tonight.
Aiko put his hands on his cheeks in exasperation and defeat. This would surely be the worst thing he would ever have to do. Though that sentence was indeed false, to Aiko it was the most truth in the world at this moment. He did not ask for this marriage, and most of all he did not want to. Let alone to share his bed with a strange woman.
He walked back out of the room and spotted Momo around the corner of the hallway, but he did not speak anything more and instead grabbed Momo’s luggage that still sat among the hallway and walked with it down to his (their) room.
By the time he had made it to the door of their room, someone knocked at the front door - Momo turned quickly at it and glided to the door, opening it quickly to see a beautiful woman.
Her hair was a golden color, she wore different clothing than traditional Talaewi clothes. Instead, she wore a long blue dress; still long-sleeved to protect the skin from the sun.
She smiled at the woman. “Hi, what can I do for you?”
“I see Aiko finally hired a maid for his home as disgusting as it is.” She suddenly walked past Momo as Aiko met her around the corner, having noticed it. Everything seemed so incredibly sudden for poor Momo who had just been called a maid.
