"Tannen! Get Miyu to a secure place! Alistor yelled as he and Rena confront Mr. Rare amid the confusion.

"Mom! Dad! Please stay with me!" 

  As Tannen took Miyu away, she let out a cry.

   Darkness enveloped Starlight City as Mr. Rare and his forces surged ahead. As it eclipses over the entire city, the souls of all who stood before him are pulled into his floating, dark palace.

"Hahaha! I’ve returned after 15 years!”! Rare chuckled. "Now nothing can stop me!"

  A black prism materialized on Mr. Rare’s chest as he begins showcasing his powers. Miyu only able looked back in terror as Rare cast his evil darkness across the whole city. Alistor's companions, Katty and Ai, moved forward, prepared to face Rare.

"We will fight until the very end! Katty shouted.

He unleashes his Flashfire against Rare, but it hardly made a dent through his defense.

"We can't back down now! We have to hit him with everything we got!" Ai persisted.

She attempted to hit Rare with a strong wave of ice, but her assault was ineffective.

"Your attacks are nothing to me! Now join with your allies in darkness!" Rare chuckled.  

His evil shadows quickly engulfed them and pulled them into his dark castle.

"Katty! Ai!" Rena yelled out.

Rena was left in disbeleif as both of their spirits were quickly pulled into his dark castle. Alistor's eyes widened in horror as he realized that the spiraling fortress had consumed their souls.

"We cannot allow our friends to be victims of whatever schemes Rare is hatching," Alistor proclaimed.

"We must figure out how to overcome and win them back." Rena declared.

The darkness from the prism then spreads throughout the city, trapping anything it can get its hands on, and before they could take action, Alistor and Rena find themselves drawn into the darkness as their bodies swiftly disappear. Miyu's parents are drawn into the enormous fortress as their souls join with many others. Tannen quickly took out his scythe to transform it into a magic broom.

"Hang on tight! This is going to be a bumpy ride!" Tannen said.

Mr. Rare swiftly notices them as he raises his left hand in the air as Tannen takes off with Miyu in the air.

"That girl can't get away! Arise my children!"

Rare summoned six black coffins to the field. The caskets quickly opened as Rare’s children awake from their sleep.

"Capture the girl!" Rare ordered.

His children lift off into the air and chase after Tannen without hesitation. He notices the six following closely behind them and tries his best to keep Miyu safe.

"I'm ready to rock the dance floor with my moves! Maximus Groovewave is back, baby!”

"Shut up, brother! I’ll be the one capuring that girl. Her blood will make great water for my plants.” Vinerva pestered as she took the lead.

“Well, maybe you should untangle those vines and challenge me.” Maximus chuckled. “We'll find out whose moves are more interesting!”

  Vinerva moves in from the right swinging her drill shaped blade at Tannen and Miyu. Her attack misses as Tannen swerves to the side. In response, Masimus summons forth a wave of disco balls in the air. The balls transform into a fleet of drones, persuing them.

"Really!? I thought we left disco in the past!" Tannen thought to himself.

Using his scythe, he cuts through the air as the disco ball drones chase after them. Releasing an electic cage, the drones attempt to capture them.

"We have to lose them!" Miyu shouted.

She continued to hold onto Tannen as he begins planning. Without hesitation Tannen quickly raises one palm to unleash a surge of dark energy. The disco ball drones explode in a burst of sparkles and glitter before being swallowed by the shadows.

"My darkness always manages to steal the show, even though disco isn't in right now." Tannen smiled.

Vinerva raises her hand, transforming it into a large massive vine. Miyu gasps as the plant vine tightens its grip on her thigh.

"I've got you, little flower. You’re all mine!" Vinerva smirked.

As Miyuwas about to be captured, Tannen conjures his dark magic once again. He unleashes a slash of darkness, slicing her vine.

Vinerva growled, "I'm not done yet! You won't get away!"

With a flick of her fingers, she releases a wave of magical energy that turns the plants around her into a cute but scary swarm of floating flowers. The flowers float through the air like a swarm of iridescent bugs and chase after Tannen and Miyu, their petals trailing mystical energy as she tells them to keep going.

"They're getting closer!" Miyu shouted.

"Sigh, why does it have to be icky insects?" Tannen muttered to his disdain.

In the midst of Vinerva's botanical assault, she was swept aside as Count Daido took the lead. Her flowers were vanquished by a shower of fireballs falling from the sky.

Vinerva's frustrated voice rose above the mayhem, "Daido! I was on the verge of capturing them! What in the realms is the meaning of this?"

Count Daido persisted in reading his book as if nothing had happened. Undeterred, he made a slightly sardonic comment while looking down at his book. 

"Vinerva, my dear sister, your flowers are charming, but my fire magic is superior.” Daido pestered.

The count turned a pageof his book, appearing oblivious to the events that were happening around him.

Miyu nearly loses her grip on Tannen as she narrowly escapes a fireball.

"I changed my mind! I think insects were better!" Tannen said.

Duke Marbellis, grinning mischievously, looked at his twin siblings, Kira and Naoki, as the chase raged on above.

"At this rate, we'll never catch them. Time for a detour, my dear twin brother and sister. We'll cut them off at the other end.

Tannen quickly glanced back, feeling a sense of unease as he only spotted three of the six behind them. Marbellis and the twin’s were nowhere to be seen.

Tannen questioned, "Where are the other three?"

"There's company in front of us," Miyu pointed.
