"I-It....It was him! The old man! He came and he-" Unable to finish her sentence, Mollie dove back into Jessie's chest and cried. Jessie and Callum exchanged grim facial expressions with one another. They were even more sure of what they had to do. She took in a deep breath. "Hey Mols, listen...me and Cal need to go look for Jared. If you don't want to go you ca-" "I'll go!" Mollie butted in, "I'll go..." she said once more, possibly to reaffirm her decision. "You sure? You don't have to, y'know," "But I want to! I...I need to, for Jared..." Mollie, quivering in Jessie's arms, was determined to see this through, even if she was piss scared. Jessie was still opposed to it but quickly gave in when Cal was also ok with her tagging along. And together the remaining group members slowly ventured further into the dense thicket of trees in search of their missing friend. It got darker and more dreary the further they walked. And the further they walked, the worse the rotting flesh and blood scent got. Every second of being in that forest was enough to send shivers down your spine, or curddles your blood. As if things weren't already bad enough, the heavy rainfall from earlier quickly returned. Pit-Pat. Pit-Pat. Little droplets slowly fell from the sky. Rain was the least of our worries, they thought, and continued onward. That is until Mollie let out another heart-wrenching scream. Calum spun around and shone the flashlight at the girls where they soon realized that it wasn't rain that was falling...but blood. Calum quickly averted the light to the treetops and, to their horror, dismembered bodies were dangling in the trees. There were too many pieces scattered in the dark to bother counting. The smell would've made it hard to anyway. The sight was too much for Mollie to handle. She dropped to the floor and coughed up a thin stream of vomit. Calum helped the girl back up and they pressed on. finally, after some minutes (or hours. It was impossible to tell) they finally reached the end of the blood rain trail. They were met with a giant, barren tree where a wave of sorrow and misery awaited...
A mysterious cabin where people disappear. Four students have to try to survive and find a way to escape. Will they be able to escape, or will they never see the light of day ever again...
Hello everyone, this is my first horror/mystery/romance novel, but I'm so excited to write it. I hope you all will love it as much as I love writing it.
This novel contains mature references such as rape, murder, and gore. If you are sensitive to these themes then please be advised. If a chapter contains them then I'll indicate that it does so there won't be any surprises. Please do enjoy my novel.
