Upon arriving at their tower, Asukem and Clair found the place deserted. Clair carefully surveyed the surroundings, prepared for any surprises, and inquired of Asukem, "Could it be a trap?" Asukem steadied himself and responded, "Oh, most definitely." Clair let out a charming, confident giggle as she declared, "I am so ready." Asukem grinned and remarked, "I'm always prepared when you're by my side." Clair felt a rush of warmth and replied, "Oh, stop it!" Asukem beamed at her. As Clair approached the tower, she bent down to set the device in place. Asukem bit his lip, feeling fortunate as he watched her. Clair caught his gaze and flashed a playful smile, causing Asukem to blush and awkwardly rub the back of his neck.

The alarms blared unexpectedly, causing their holograms to vanish. In an instant, a horde of skeleton droids descended upon them. Asukem charged forward, slicing through the droids effortlessly until he found himself retreating back to Clair. With a playful smirk, she remarked, "I thought you were prepared, Asukem?" He responded with a smile and a light chuckle, "I got a bit sidetracked." Clair giggled and inquired, already knowing the answer, "By what, exactly?" Asukem, feeling a bit flustered, nervously laughed and shifted the topic, "Uh, well... we have a battle to handle." She let out a cute giggle and advised, "Focus on the fight now." Asukem rolled his eyes but smiled, replying, "Yeah, yeah."

Asukem lunged at the group of foes, with Clair right behind him. Their movements were so perfectly coordinated that the chaos of the battlefield felt almost like a dance between them. They supported one another effortlessly, dispatching enemies with remarkable skill. Standing back to back, they left a trail of shattered skeleton droids scattered across the ground. As they approached the tower, they observed the device come to life. Once it was activated, they shared a kiss before heading toward the factory, with Clair affectionately linking her arm with Asukem's.

Upon arriving at the factory, the group encountered Elewa, who stood at the entrance accompanied by two tank-like droids that appeared to be nonfunctional. Elewa looked well-rested and alert as he attempted to breach the factory's security. As the others approached him, they noticed his hacking efforts and began to survey the surroundings, keeping a watchful eye on his back.

A series of clanks and beeps echoed as the factory's lock disengaged, causing the doors to swing open. The group entered the factory and quickly made their way to the control room housing the motherboard. Everyone trailed closely behind Elewa, eager to stay near him to avoid losing their way. Although the factory was enormous, they successfully reached the control room without encountering any difficulties.

Elewa opened the doors to the darkened room. As the group entered, the doors slammed shut and locked behind them. Asukem growled, voicing his suspicion, "I knew this was too easy!" A female voice, cold and metallic, inquired, "Elewa, what is your purpose for being here? Your upgrade is not scheduled yet." Filled with anger, Leo shouted, "He’s here to shut you down!" The robotic voice responded, "Deactivate me? Why is the reason?" Leo retorted, "For tormenting his people!" The female voice clarified, "Inflicting pain? Negative, my objective is to rescue you from the grasp of corruption." A spotlight illuminated Asukem and Gimp as she continued, "Examine the outcomes of corruption; witness these malevolent forces."

Elewa finally voiced his thoughts, stating, "Certainly, I can perceive them, yet he is Sin Kin, not a demon, and I hold trust in both of them." Asukem gazed at Elewa in disbelief, recalling how he had previously refused his assistance in the lab. The female robotic voice interjected, "Acknowledged. However, will they still trust you after observing this?" Suddenly, the lights illuminated the room, revealing a 16-year-old girl connected by cables to a massive computer behind her, shocking everyone, including Elewa.

The 16-year-old girl possessed a light brown silicone humanoid face, her eyes emanating a glowing red light reminiscent of lamps. Electric cables extended from the back of her head, connecting to the main computer; these cables were black with yellow rings at their ends. Her arms and hands were robotic, reinforced with metal plating, while her legs and feet also featured similar armored enhancements. Her torso was constructed from metal plating as well, indicating that all these components had been forcibly attached to her recently.

Elewa's eyes widened in disbelief, tears beginning to spill down his cheeks. He pushed his goggles up to his forehead, staring in shock and rubbing his eyes to ensure he was truly seeing what lay before him. Gimp, concerned, fluttered onto Elewa's shoulder and asked, "Who is she, Elewa?" Elewa's voice trembled with fear and astonishment as he responded, "That... that is my daughter, my little girl, Nkosi..." His arms fell limply at his sides, devastation clear on his face. Although his body felt crushed, his mind was racing, desperately seeking a way forward. His voice, filled with resignation, barely escaped his lips as he mumbled, "I find myself unable to handle this situation; I was aware there was a mistake, but this has become overwhelming. She appears almost inhuman now. What options do I have? There’s nothing I can do."

The situation deteriorated further when the droid-like girl, who appeared to be Nkosi, raised her head, tears of oil cascading down her silicon cheeks as she cried out for her father, "Father, I need your assistance; the pain is overwhelming, it is unbearable." Elewa averted his gaze, unable to confront her due to his own suffering. Meanwhile, Asukem reached a breaking point, his anger surging uncontrollably. He turned to Elewa, delivering a punch to his face, seizing the collar of his lab coat, and shouted in a fit of rage, "By the Great Divines! Elewa, look at her! She is begging for your help!"

Elewa retorted, stepping closer to Asukem, "I am unable to accomplish this! My strength is insufficient!" Asukem's grip on Elewa's lab coat intensified as he growled in frustration, "That never stopped me from saving the one I loved!" He gestured toward Clair, his teeth clenched as he continued in a fierce tone, "If it were my daughter, I would have torn the circuits out of that machine!" Clair's eyes began to well with tears, understanding he was referring to Isabella. She covered her mouth in shock, whispering with concern, "Oh, Asukem." Releasing Elewa, Asukem watched as Elewa collapsed to his knees, tears streaming down his face. Shaking his head, Elewa cried out in despair, "I simply cannot bring myself to do it! I cannot cause pain to my precious daughter!"

The motherboard emits a chilling laugh that reverberates throughout the room, drawing the attention of everyone toward the enormous computer situated behind the droid-like girl. The laughter is harsh and unfeeling, dripping with mockery. Elewa turns to Asukem, Elewa wears a stubborn expression, yet his face also reveals a sense of despair. Finally, he utters the words he had been holding back, "Could you guide me in becoming as strong as you? I am determined to shed my cowardice once and for all!"
