I haven't forgotten The Wrong Wizards, but have been focusing on other projects the last few years. Sorry!
Tapas is holding an action fantasy novel writing contest and I am determined to enter.
If I were to win, I'd not only be able to focus on writing my winning entry BUT also would be able to spend more time on other novels. That may sound counter intuative because I'd suddently be employed with a full-time job BUT it would be much better than my current situation: working on several different small jobs at the same time so I can cover my groceries and bills.
My entry into the contest is called 'Slayer of Yggdrasil' and it's a messed up isekai story where several worlds got slammed together like a kid playing with wads of play-doh.
Rebecka Holt was already having a bad night at the axe throwing bar she works as a bartender at, then things got weird when a medieval cottage showed up in the middle of the building!
There is body horror in it and the series leans much more heavily in the 'horror' category than Book of CoL did, so, fair warning there. It's still got plenty of action and fantasy, however. There's also going to be characters from my other books in this series as well. Page won't be making an appearance but a certain big buff dragon lady from The Wrong Wizards absolutely will.
Rebecka's asexual and agender, but uses she/her pronouns.
