The vast world comprises many people but it's cleanly differentiated into two: "The one who would do anything to live", "The other, who don't have a reason". They just keep going, because of something left or maybe because they aren't courageous enough to defy natural order. So, they wait everyday to pass, wishing it to either stop or end... I am from latter.
I am just alive, nothing more nothing less. Working eighteen hours a day, working and working, because that's what I am supposed to do. People fancy landscapes or night-rides, but I never experienced such luxury. Now I only wanted to be left alone.
Coped up in office, typing and typing, getting yelled at, deadlines, stress. A smoke I need a smoke.
Climbing the terrace stairs...
That was what I was doing last...
"But now, where am I?"
She was unable to move. Her skin felt tight. Her eyes, face, neck, mud was smudged all over her; which now had dried and became a bother. Draped in a brown blanket; lying in the bushes of who knows what wilderness.
...Am I being trafficked?
Kyaaaaa!!!!
Roar!!!
W..what?... Roar?
That day, I, a poor someone form 21st century... saw a lioness for the first time in my life, and like any sane person.... I fainted.
Faints.
Kyaaaa!!!!×2
A young girl came running, the one who was screaming: "Y-your majesty?"
Saw the motionless body; fell on her knees and burst into tears: Sniffle...sob...."Y-young lady?"
"She's fine! Just sleeping."
The person who fainted but was assumed to be asleep: "Th-the... It speaks!"
Faint×2
Kyaaaaaa!!!!!!
"Y-Young lady!!!"
"Aah... Such a pain."
.
The next thing she saw was a beautiful place sheltered by all kinds of flowers and trees, dream or not she had no idea, it was vivid but vague at the same time.
Where am I... Where is it, a garden, no it's a greenhouse. Someone's sitting there... She looks like a princess.
Hehe..So small, her legs aren't even touching the ground.
But why is she all alone, she's holding a cup though, is it a tea party? Did everyone ghosted her?
These thoughts of her shattered, when the lil' girl in blue dress, threw a smile at her.
G-God, so cute! I feel like an arrow pierced through my heart!
The smiling child spoke with a finger on her lips "Don't be confused we are one. Can't say more!"
"W-what?"
Before she could voice more, the walls of greenhouse cracked, glass swarming in air, instinctively her eyes closed.
It hurts, it hurts. My head, my back, limbs, everything pains.
She got up only to witness herself, lying flat on the ground, blood, blood and blood!
She was standing but her body wasn't: her soul wasn't in her body.
She looked back at her office-terrace and the sunset: yeah it's really pretty.
Boom!
The ground beneath her shattered and she fell, the next thing she knew she saw a stretcher carrying her lifeless pale body, it was a morgue, the workers discussed her fate.
"It's so pitiful! She is looks barely thirty!" One said shaking his head, mourning an untimely demise.
"What's even worse, is that she has no one to perform her last rituals. Her sister is not even picking her phone." The other worker said.
"Poor soul, like that we will be the one bidding her farewell!"
Seeing the end of her. She got it all.
Oh, I remember now, I am Kang so-ra, an office worker. Lastly, I was going to the terrace for first ever to smoke, cause I wanted to not be seen.... A girl was standing at railing about to jump off.
I was on the same page as her, but I had no plans to let someone do what I couldn't, or maybe it was to avoid future complexations.
I coaxed, and pulled her back, but unexpectedly she lost her balance and fell, I who was at edge naturally... also fell off.
Her body's gone, but mine's still here.... Hahaha, and she wanted to end it all. Tell me who's the one really on brink?!
Hahahahaha.....
Her laugh was to supress the grief, but when has actions ever lied, tears rolled down her cheek, with the echoing laughter of her shaking voice.
....So what now? I am dead right? What about my baby sister? She wouldn't even get to see me for last-
Again the walls of her dream collapsed, and she closed her eyes, openings them to see.
In an european styled room big enough to be mistaken as hall. A baby with pale-blond hair and violet eyes was playing in a crib. She looked like a fairy but no one was around her, so she stayed their quietly, guarding the little angel.
Their solitude, however didn't last long.
A woman decked in an expensive looking red and white noble-military-uniform barged in. The sword she held in left was painted in red, a nauseating stench of blood and sweat coming from her.
Despite the odds the child giggled at her sight.
Formerly poised women, now stumbled. Rushing to the child's side. Wrapping the baby in her jacket she hugged and kissed the baby's forehead, gently speaking.
"My baby, Mama is here. Don't worry we will be getting home soon."
"Oh, so you are the mom."
She had a guess, that it's an illusion so no one would be able to hear or see her which now proved right, as the women showed no reaction.
She walked to the glass window, smashed it's panel with her arm, in return of which blood oozes out, hugged the kid tightly, and jumped off.
Hey you crazy! There's a child in your hand!
Kang so-ra hurried to the window, and saw something straight out of a fairytale, the women, she: transformed into a lioness! Safely landing with the baby wrapped in jacket, held in her mouth.
...well let it be, it's an illusion after all...
The walls fell again, this time the chandelier above her had toppled over her.
Panting*
Haa! Haa..haa.
What in the world....ow! My head!
She regained consciousness for a moment only to slip back again.
This time a series of illusions, of the baby with violet eyes, were flaunted. Her eating, playing with her parents, throwing tantrums...
Geez, I get it! The baby's cute, now stop!
Shatter! Bang! Boom!
The illusions collapsed, all falling in her direction.
S-s-seriusly! I was just joking!
Kyaaaaaa!!!!
"...by. aby. Baby!"
"Haaa! W-what?
The gentle yet anxious voice, made Sora spring up.
Seeing herself lying on a velvet bed, in a room so magneficient that even selling her kidney, liver, and blood won't make-up for it, piled her confusion.
Am... Am I in a hospital? No that's not possible, I was in morgue! But what kind of place has a room like this-
"Baby! My child! A-are you okay?" In tears a beautiful young man, spoke. Halting her wonderings.
He had violet eyes similar to the man the child was playing with.
Baby? Excuse me, I am thirty-one year old!
She raised her hand to make him stop crying and listen. Realizing her hands were small, a bit-too small for a thirty-one year old.
Hastily she pulled out the blanket, her lower body: it's also abnormally small.
Did I... Perhaps... Am still dreaming?
"Sorry! It's all my fault! My baby!" The man cried hugging her small body tightly.
Though right now, she wasn't in a condition to comfort the man, as she herself had fainted.
The hell happened to me?!!
"Baby!!!"
