When daylight was finally visible Lee got up and looked over at Cypress who was watching a lady bug very closely. Lee's stomach growled. I'm so hungry that I would eat a bug he grumbled to himself. Well unless you're up for stealing you'll just have to suck it up Cypress said standing up and brushing off the dirt anyway we should get going. Right Lee sighed standing up. They walked through the woods watching the wind rustle the leaves. Both of them were quiet wanting the silence to last because even though it was tense and awkward it was better than the alternative. After a few hours Lee clutched his growling stomach and groaned. If I don't eat something soon he said my stomach will start to eat itself. Cypress let out an exasperated sigh and rolled his eyes. Fine he said irritatedly let's find a town. He led Lee through more woods and over a creek then down a hill where they saw a small town. The town was pretty much a few houses, a bakery, a library, and a small grocery store. Alright we'll go around to the Cypress started then paused looking over at the buildings actually you know what you may just be in luck. How so Lee asked confused. Come on Cypress said grabbing Lee's wrist and dragging him around the back of the bakery. There was a back door with a symbol painted at the top. The symbol looked like a green circle with a closed eye on it. This is a safe place Cypress said that's what the symbol means, if it were red with an open eye that would mean it's an extremely dangerous place. Huh Lee said staring up at it. He remembered seeing a red one before, painted on the side of his house. Alright Cypress said I'm gonna go around the corner you knock and tell whoever answers, that you have a question about the symbol. Why me Lee asked nervously. Because I'm a supernatural Cypress explained with a sigh and I wanna make sure that they're good people first. Lee groaned and knocked on the door just as Cypress disappeared out of sight.
