Arthur's P. O. V

...

"What is the meaning of this? Who is Ajax?" I asked coldly, glaring at Uther Carson and the man froze, looking at me with wide eyes. He probably did not expect me to know about ajax.

"I don't know what you're talking about" He replied after regaining his calm and I clenched my fist.

Why does he keep hiding things from me? 

Why can't he be real with me?

"I'll ask you for the last time, who is Ajax and why does he has the same birthmark as mom? He told me he was sorry because he found out the truth. You've already failed your duty as your father, there's no point in hiding anything from me. What truth is he talking about?" I asked in frustration but he just looked at me blankly

"I don't know" He said without any emotion, like a robot repeating the same thing over and over again

Fuck, I feel like taking a gun and shooting him in the mouth. What;s the use of a mouth who only knows 'I don't know' , tsk, what an irony,

"Enough is enough" The voice of an unknown lady suddenly came out of nowhere. I was surprised when a woman, aged around , 50 walked next to dad. Dad looked at her with wide eyes while she stared at me in apology.

"I can't bear it anymore! Can't you see that you're hurting your son even more? She's dead, Uther, dead! You're alive, you can still be here for him when you'll tell him the truth. I can't see you both suffer anymore! Tell him the truth Uther, tell your son that you never doubted him in the first place! Tell him that you believed him when he said he didn't do anything to Ares. You can't hide the truth to protect him. He'll be more hurt to think that his dad hates him than to know that his mother never loved him" The woman confessed in pain and I froze. My heart beat quickened while dad looked at her in anger

"She's lying! Don't listen to him and get out, Arthur! She's just making excuses for you to forgive me, don't listen to her" He replied but  I couldn't comprehend what was happening

"No, I deserve to know. Please, tell me the truth. I have no one anyway" I begged to the unknown woman and tears filled my dad's eyes

"It will break you. I prefer to have you hate me than the woman who's your role model, the woman who's your everything" He replied.

I took a deep breath and restrained myself from punching him

"Oh please, don't act like a pathetic victim who knows what's best for me." I sneered and he looked at the woman hesitantly

"Please sit-"

"Tell me" I said, cutting him off

After a few minutes of silence, just when I thought that he was not going to tell me anything like always, he finally opened his mouth

"Ajax is your step-brother. He is two years older and he is the son of your mother from a different father. Your mom brought you here when you were only 2 years old. I had a one nightstand with her and she proved that you were my child. She really loved you-"

"Don't give me the bullshit that she loved me when that woman clearly said that my mom never loved me" I interrupted and

"I can't say it" He whispered

"God, stop with that drama queen behaviour and just fucking tell me the truth! Instead of speaking so much nonsense, just say it for fuck sake" I yelled in frustration and dad flinched at my outburst

"He deserves to know, Should I tell him instead?" She asked

Finally, a reasonable person!

"Please do" Dad replied

"Your dad has loved me for 25 years now. I met him when he was 22 and I was 21. We had been dating for 2 years and were engaged but our small world shattered when a woman named Marisson arrived with a 2-year-old son having the same brown eyes as Uther, the same hair as well as a similar facial structure" She said before continuing,

25 years??

"She claimed that you were Uther's son and it turned out that you were. Your dad had slept with Marrison a month before meeting me and Marrison used you for money. Your dad wanted to be part of you life and in exchange, your mom wanted him to marry her. Your dad didn't want to ruin your life because you were his son and he didn't want you to live without him. He could have taken you away from her but you were already too attached to her. I gave up on your dad and he married her to take care of you"

After listening to this part, I already knew where this was going and I did not like it at all

"Your mom would use you to have everything she wanted. Your dad was the one who took care of you, not your mom. He couldn't bear to see you hurt and acted cold but in reality, it was because of your mom. She feared that you'll like your dad so much that you'll leave her so, she told your dad he was allowed to give you affection but also, to be strict and to force you to do things. He did because it was better to have a bit of your love than nothing at all" She whispered sadly and tears filled my eyes

What?

My mom didn't love me?

She...used me?

"But why didn't you tell me anything? Why did you break my heart and abandoned me??" I asked and he sighed

"Ares's boyfriend was Ajax, your mom's son. He knew something and threatened to tell you. Arthur, I know you since you were 2. You couldn't bear to hear a single thing against your mother. She was your everything, the person you respected, the person for whom you'd die for. You loved her more than me!"He said, trying to defend himself but I couldn't help but think that it was ridiculous

"I love you both the same!! I wouldn't have hated you. I loved you just like I loved her! Why didn't you say anything? That's no reason" I yelled in frustration

What did Ajax tell dad?

"Tell him, Uther" She said and dad let out a sob.

"Arthur, Ajax came with Ares and told your dad about what they did. He told him to cover them or else.. or else he'll tell you about your mother. He'll...tell you the truth, the truth that.." She trailed and dad looked at me in pain

"That I killed her" He whispered and I flinched. My heartbeat quickened and all I could hear was the pounding sound of it.

Someone held my arms and I turned around to see a concern William.

I immediately pulled him towards me and hugged him, burying my face on his neck.

He hugged me back and slowly played with my hair while I took a deep breath

"Hey love, I'm here now. You can cry now!" He whispered and I hugged him tight, concentrating on his heart beat which slowly calmed me down.

"It's okay Arthur, I'm here. I'm not going to say that everything is going to be fine but, what you should know is that I love you and I won't leave your side! I mean, I called you 'daddy' because you wanted to, if this doesn't tell you about how much I love you, then, I don't know what will! Oh, I know who will!!! Will will tell you that Will loves you" He cooed and I tried to figure what the hell he meant before laughing.

Oh, Will as in William!

"That hurt my brain" I whispered 

"I'm surprised you have one, I mean, it doesn't matter, your big c)ck makes up for it" He teased and I let out a gasp, pulling back to narrow my eyes at him

"That was mean" I said in disbelief but hey,

At least he loves my c)ck!

He just patted my cheeks with a smile

"Oo daddy, you'll live! Come on, now, you're going to sit and listen to what your dad has to say. From what I heard, your mom doesn't deserves your tears! I don't want you to waste your precious tears for a woman like her! Save it for when you'll get your mood swings, you know, when you're going to get pregnant with my baby" He said and I pushed him away from me

"I'm not having your babies!" I exclaimed, walking towards the bed like he asked.

What he said before was right

I shouldn't waste my tears on her.

William walked towards me and sat next to me.

Suddenly, the door opened and my eyes lit up when three pups barked, running towards me quickly. I groaned when they jumped on the bed, climbing on my lap.

They immediately attacked my cheeks while I laughed, trying to pet them all

"Oh Snowyy, don't chew on my fingers! Shadow, you're licking my cheeks!! As for you mud, look at that pink little belly" I cooed, rubbing it. Mud always go on his back, presenting me his belly to rub while Snow has a real problem since he keeps on chewing things

"Arthur, get them down! They are not allowed on the bed and you know it! That's someone else's bed, get them down now" William scolded and I frowned

"No" I said, bending to nuzzle Shadow's nose since the little one loved kisses

"Arthur, you big baby!! I said now" William scolded and I looked at my little puppies's sweet eyes, shaking my head

"No" I said and William narrowed his eyes, placing his hand on his waist.

"Arthur, I said, get the pups down" He said in a low voice and I flinched

"Fine" I mumbled before getting up. I huffed and sat on the ground instead, playing with the pups

I smiled at that and realised that..this was my family.

They were here for me. 

My mom didn't love me and my dad killed her.. I need to know why but,

I have a family to love me. I can't forget that

I can't doubt who loves me or who doesn't.

I have no right to question whether or not William really loves me.

I am sure,

He loves me.

My dad  loved me because he sacrificed himself to not break my heart. I'm angry he hide it from me but he did it because he thought I loved my mom more than anything. He was ready to give up being a father because he thought knowing my mom didn't love me would be a pain that I wouldn't be able to bear. However, I will not forgive him yet. 

William sat next to me and wrapped his hand around my waist before pulling my head on his shoulder

"We're listening, Uther. You can continue, Don't worry about Arthur! Our babies and I are here to remind him that he's the most important person in our life and that we love him the most" He r eplied and I smiled, still petting the pups who were playing with me. As usual, Shadow went to William's lap and snuggled against him.

"I'm listening" I whispered, looking at my babies

"Your mom found my will statement. It stated that after my death, all my property would go to you. Your mom wanted everything and according to the law, if I have no son, my wife will inherit everything. So.. She planned to....she planned to kill you. I killed her before she could do it. I'm sorry" Dad whispered and I paused

"Tsk, she should have been named Medusa" William mumbled and instead of being angry or sad, I let out a chuckle at that.

I took a deep breath and got up

"Come on William, let's go home" I said softly, stretching my hand and William smiled, entwining his hands with mine

"I'll never leave your side, never" He promised. After that, without looking back, we went out and headed out. We acted as if nothing happened and did not talk about anything related to dad on our way home.

I have a family who loves me and I don't need anything more.
