One day a quick glint Catches their sight, And they see a bright flash Of pearl in the light. At a closer look They discover, And a small speckled shell, Is what's uncovered. A flip of their tail, The sand scattered. The shell makes a strange noise, As if it chattered. The little fish gasps, As a claw jabs. Their eyes fill with wonder, At the grumpy hermit crab.
