Hēnte is a country where people live in peace and harmony. It has four potent empires that equally share their power and vigour to protect, survive, and fight against the shadow demons and monsters from the Land of Satanus. 

The capital of Hēnte is the Golden Empire of Verticulas. It is the largest continent in the country and is rich in magic, metal, food sources, and gold. The previous emperor, Frederick Verticulas, empowered equality with no prejudice among its society’s social class. The unfortunate can join the combat forces to establish themselves as warriors who protect the innocent, while the middle and upper class can upskill themselves into becoming mages or knights who protect the entire continent.

Every three years, regardless of gender, children aged thirteen and above will undergo a mana examination in the open arena, where the mages will check their abilities using the crystal ball. When the crystal ball changes colors, it will identify the child's mana. Red and purple can be mages. Green and yellow can be knights or healers. Blue as warriors. However, if the crystal ball turned grey, the child could not join because of a medical condition.

These laws were passed down to the newly crowned emperor of the Golden Empire of Verticulas and its allegiance to other empires of the West, South, East, and North, which work diversely and justly for the good of all humanity. 

The Empire of Īsern, East of Hēnte

The land is rich in Iron and Bronze. The people mass-produce different kinds of steel weapons for their country and its neighboring countries. 

Emperor Earl Erealus is the ruler of Īsern. He has two sons, Isaac Erealus and Ivan Erealus, known for their outstanding fighting skills and pulchritudinous figures that every young lady in Īsern desires. The emperor's only daughter, Yzabelle Erealus, is the second concubine of Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas. She is known for her great demeanour and grace like a saintess. She knows how to wield a sword, taught by her eldest brother, Isaac Erealus. But nothing could make her happier than listening to the mongering news within the palace walls, her only rivalry, Dianthus Aechmā. 

The Empire of Aechmā, West of Hēnte

This continent is the land of the rising mages, whose most significant power is casting different spells. Their power is the backbone of Hēnte: the barrier seal that protects against demons and monsters. Doris created a well-preserved barrier. He is the father of Dominic Aechmā and Dianthus Aechmā. 

Dominic Aechmā is a great mage who aids the Empire of Coldēus, North of Hēnte. He’s responsible for maintaining the barrier protection seal between the central boundaries of the North and the far end of the North, the Land of Satanus. However, the foundation of the barrier spell is not as strong as the Archmage, Apollis. The barrier spell can sting the monsters and prevent them from infiltrating the wall stone of the Coldēus Empire, but it is different for shadow demons. 

The shadow demons scattered in different regions of Hēnte and were unafraid of the barrier. They helped the monsters by dispelling the barrier using their faint breath, which darkened to a brittle black as their fire breath kissed it.  

Dianthus Aechmā, also known as Dianne, is the first concubine of Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas. She has healing powers and is known for her grace and sophisticated beauty. But she has a sinister personality. She discreetly practices dark magic using her unique casting spell, the cryptic portal, and a dark secret under her skin. 

The Empire of Coldēus, North of Hēnte

The coldest continent of Hēnte. They never see sunny days. The people who live here look like people with albinism; their skin is as white as snow, their eyes are like moon meadows, and their lips are soft and muted in color. But don’t be bewitched by their unique beauty; this place is full of inborn barbaric warriors, both men and women, who can split humans and monsters in half. This empire doesn’t have children because it is a place where skilled warriors and knights are brought with an oath to protect the wall against monsters and shadow demons. 

The tyrant Emperor of Coldēus is Castaeus Coldēus, young and bold, who killed his entire clan and rebuilt the North under his sleeves. He was born merciless, like Hades. With his flare of amber eyes that glistened like a shaft of light, he could control the minds of monsters and humans. With his masculine features of pale skin, deep blue eyes, and long silver hair, he was a man who hid a secret lover behind closed doors.  

Be careful when you set foot in the land of Coldēus. The continent might be glamorous from afar, but it is full of illusion spells of hunger and lust. Only the nous potion can save you from entering their continent. Unfortunately, you can only acquire the nous potion in the Golden Empire, made by the former Empress Robina Verticulas, with the permission of the current Emperor Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas. Without the nous potion, the dark forest will embrace you to your wildest dreams, and that is death. 

Empire of Vincentus, South of Hēnte

This land is abundant in dairy, poultry, meat, and fish. Their empire was built on the coast. It is a five-day journey by sea to the small country of Mercius, where Irelina Mercius was born. They also have the fastest cargo shipment, the freightage spell, inherited by Emperor Viktor Lan Vincentus—a benevolent leader with a reserved personality and a big heart for his people.  

His eldest son, Cī’er Vincentus, is a great swordsman who aids the Empire of Coldēus in case a war arises between Hēnte and the Land of Satanus. He inherited one of his father's greatest swords, the Exterminator Blood Sword of Achilles. It exterminates monsters but is limited to shadow demons. It is also the only sword that can scathen the Emperor of Verticulas like poison vines. He had a humongous training ground for recruits, where he trained them to become great swordsmen of the future. 

Meanwhile, Earlena Vincentus is the precious daughter and sister of the South Empire. The chosen Queen of Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas, is known for her mystic beauty, which resembles the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite. She might not have inherited her father’s power or weaponry, but her soft tone is reminiscent of smylte.   

She’s the woman who could stop the tyranny of Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas, who went berserk when Emperor Doris Aechmā did not want to coexist in Hēnte because of their hypocrisy and arrogance as mages.  

Earlena Vincentus was the one who offered an agreement that the daughter of Doris Aechmā would become the first concubine of the Verticulas Empire before she became Queen of Verticulas. Crown Prince Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas initially opposed the idea. Only after she became Queen did Zeddrick finally agree. The Empire of Aechmā accepted the peace offering and coexisted with the rest of the empire, which would equally provide and distribute the power. 

The Golden Empire of Verticulas, Central of Hēnte

The largest and central continent of Hēnte, that controls and balances the foundation of the country. 

The current emperor of Verticulas is Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas, the first son of Freddrick and Robina Verticulas. He has no siblings. He is a flame wielder who controls the blue and red fire, the power of which can destroy an entire castle. He is supposedly the protagonist who can fight against the Demon Lord in Satanus, Lū’re, but an unknown mystery overshadows his power.

He is a well-known tyrant, like Castaeus Coldēus, who fought hand in hand with him in the Land of Satanus during his reign as the Crown Prince of Verticulas. Despite being an autocrat, Zeddrick Apeus Verticulas is the country's most beautiful, wisest, and fiercest man. It was Earlena Vincentus who captured and thawed his frozen heart. 

When they became Emperor and Empress of Verticulas, it was the most prosperous and harmonious country of all time, but an unforeseen occurrence occurred in the Empress Palace. 

The Land of Satanus, Far North of Hēnte

A land where shadow demons and monsters hibernate and multiply. With expansive black spring water that is poisonous to consume by humans but not for hybrid monsters, poisonous fruits that wither after plucking them, and black flowers that release toxic fumes, it is also where the forbidden black magic lies.  

The Demon Lord Lū’re was the ruler and the serpent king of the underworld, also known as “Ur”. Although Lū’re has been sleeping for thousands of years, his children have never stopped regenerating and multiplying by inhaling the red mist from the red heart stone crystal embedded in the fathomless labyrinth of the Black Weald of Ur. 

It was said that the heart stone had separated from the Demon King’s body when thrust by a mighty sword. No one knew that the heart stone could bear its children, the monsters.

Meanwhile, the shadow demons found their way to survive through human skin, awaiting their master’s return to the Land of Satanus again.

The herte is the key to awakening the Demon Lord when the right time comes. And there is a possibility the Demon Lord will be awakened from a nameless spell of someone else’s hand. 

Nevertheless, the shadow demons have been tailing the scent of the remaining descendants of Circē, who also has the Bracha blood of the Athánato Dásos Vasiliás, Ta-ur, who has been in slumber in the deepest core of the Earth. 

Not many know the story of Ta-ur, who has been in hibernation for thousands of years, secretly absorbing the mana of Hēnte through its invincible roots. And the foretelling mystery and origin of Azarel that will wreak havoc and downfall of humanity once awakened.
