"Come on Braden," Freddie shouted. I was in the court yard with my best friend, Freddie. We both are playing hunting. We'll, training. I know that it's not prince like behavior, but if we both are going to be future kings, we have to provide for our kingdom. My parents are not around. They abandoned me and my grandfather when I was five years. I will never forgive them. My grandfather is the only parent who will never leave me.
Freddie and I were pouncing like wild animals. Actually, we're wolves. Mine and Freddie's kingdom are wolves. Anyways, Millie the mouse was helping us with our pouncing. Freddie and I were trying to keep up, but we accidentally bumped our heads together. We fell to the floor.
As we rubbed our heads, we looked at each other's eyes. My heart started beating fast. I admit it. I'm in love with my best friend. Suddenly, we heard someone clear their throat. It was my grandfather. Freddie and I quickly got up.
"I see you two are taking a break," my grandfather laughed. "Sorry your majesty. We should get back to training," Freddie apologized. "No worries. Don't forget that you shouldn't over do it," my grandfather said. "They are kind of getting better your Majesty," Millie added. "Very good. Millie, I need to have a word with you," my grandfather said. Millie smiled and followed my grandfather.
"Huh. I wonder what they could be talking about," I said. "Maybe another party," Freddie joked. We both laughed. We both sat down on the stairs casually talking about random stuff.
Suddenly, my grandfather came back. I didn't see Millie. Where is that rodent? "Boys. Me and Freddie's parents are going to have a talk," my grandfather started. We both were worried. "Don't worry about it. We just have royal duties. Since our kingdoms are united," my grandfather reassured us.
"What about us?" Freddie asked. "Well, this meeting will be pretty boring. So later tonight, you boys will just have fun at this place," my grandfather started to walk away. "Wait, what place is it?" Freddie asked. My grandfather grinned.
"It's an old hangout where Braden's grandmother and I used to spend time," my grandfather said. I loved hearing stories about my grandparents. "Great, we'll be there, " Freddie grabbed my paw. Don't blush. Don't blush.
"Sounds good. Be there by eight pm," my grandfather said.
Around seven, I got dressed in a formal, but casual clothes. I went to grandfather's old hangout. Freddie and I met up. He was also wearing formal casual clothes. By the time we arrived at the spot, Freddie and I gasped.
