I created Milo's backstory - the Epilogue of ACG, back in summer 2019. He grew a lot since my original idea: a reluctant hero who just wanted to study physics in peace. In D&D, warlocks are people who have magic after they made a pact with someone - a patron - who gives them their magic. In Milo's case, he was born with Ashtai in his mind. He never signed anything, it was all forced upon him. I actually didn't start playing as Milo until a few months ago, when a friend wanted to run a game where we really elaborated entire cities and populations in his worldbuilding. I had Holn ready to go, clearly, as ACG was almost entirely written by then! The game started right after Milo got the letter about Corym's fate.
His magic focuses on dreams, illusions and anything I can say is based on wind/air. Of course, he also has spells like Sleep and Light.

Lila is my oldest character - I created her when I was 12, so she's turning 16 this year! My dad helped me create her when he first taught me to play D&D way bach when! I love her to absolute smithereens! Playing her is just me without a filter, the day anything happens to her will be difficult indeed. I used to play as her about once every two weeks. Unfortunately, that campaign is on Hiatus. Her arc in ACG is basically leaving her current campaign to go back home.
Fun fact: originally, her name was Callie, and she was a disguise master, and had a pet wolf.
She/her, aromantic pansexual
Race: high elf
Class: mercy monk
Calixa actually replaced another character. You may remember Christopher, who was teaching Milo about maps? He was my character in Descent into Avernus, and died in the last session of that. Probably the biggest heartbreak I've had in the game. The DM wanted to keep playing with our group, so I made Calixa. For her, I really wanted a 'rebel princess' trope. I also wanted an 'international' character, someone who didn't really speak the common language, and didn't know anything about where she was. She was fun to play, sure, but is much more fun to write!
As a monk, her thing is martial arts, which was SUPER fun to pair with her being blind!
She/Her, demiromantic
Race: Changeling
Class: Warlock of the Archfey, Pact of the Tome.
Lockwren was inspired by a friend challenging me to make a 'french fashion warlock'. Hell yes, that's exactly my speed. I wanted her to struggle with a magic addiction, too. I didn't really have a game to play her in for a long time, and once I did, she wasn't really right for the campaign. I played as her for a bit, let her make bonds, but the more I played the more awkward she felt in the party. I had a really dark character in a really 'sparkly' campang. I have since then replaced her with another character.
