Mr. Son summoned a huge bear. He asked Nanami, "Are you ready?" Nanami replied,"Yes". Then Mr. Son signaled, "Begin Nanami!". Rapidly the bear rushed towards Nanami. But Nanami was very calm. When the bear reached him and was about to start landing its heavy blows. Nanami calmly prepared his hand and crushed it to the chest of the bear and separated the heart from it and pulled it outside.

 Other participants were surprised to see this. Mr. Son said to himself, "So, Nanami can use Sasis Power." Then, he announced , "Nanami Kurotsuchi, you have passed the Reaper test. Congratulations! Now you are a reaper." Then I (Noya) stood up and asked Mr. Son," Why he will not fight anymore?" Mr. Son replied," It's my decision, not yours." But, he spoke to himself that if Nanami fights with other participants, they may die.

 Then Mr. Son said, "Next fight, Shizuku Matsumoto vs Violet Stark. Begin!" They began the fight. Two of them fought very well. Violet Stark was about to lose, then she said, "I'm not gonna lose that easily'. She punched Shizuku very hard . Then, Shizuku spoke up and said, "I've tried very hard to get here and I will win this." In the last second, Shizuku pulled off a deadly blow on Violet. Thus, Shizuku won.Mr. Son congratulated Shizuku. 

Then, one by one every fight ended. Joka beat Hika Fuji, Mika Shimotsuni beat Haruhi Garo. Then, Shin fought Tenzi very well. Tenzi was a Kung Fu Wer. Shin had some trouble winning the fight but unfortunately Tenzi won. Then finally my fight started. The opponent was Aka Inu. He was a martial art specialist. He asked me, "Are you ready to fight?" I answered "Yes". The fight began

As soon as the fight began, I pulled off many blows on him but he dodged every time. Then, he counter-attacked and with his one attack, I was seriously injured. But, I withstood that and stood up. I rushed towards him with ful power but surprisingly he looked through my attack and held my right hand and crushed me in the ground. Then he said holding my hand, " Give up or I will break your hand." I strongly declined. Then he really broke my right hand and held my left hand and said, 'Give up or I will break this hand also. I again declined and said, " I struggled very hard in this exam, I injured myself. You can't beat me." Then he shockingly went over to Mr. Son and said, "I lost". Mr. Son smiled a bit and announced, "Noya won."

Then, Mr. Son announced the participants of the 2nd round. Those are, Noya, Tenzi, Renke, Mika, Joka, Ken, Shizuku. Mr. Son also added, "If you win the 2rd round, you will be rewarded. But, at that very moment, people from headquarters came and told Mr. Son, "You can not continue this exam."
