Gayle yelped and jumped back while Lee rushed forward kneeling down next to Cypress. What do I do what do I do Lee said frantically watching the bright teal blood pool on the ground. I'll find something to help Gayle said darting off into the woods. Wait, no, damn it Lee called tears forming in his eyes. He took a deep breath trying to calm himself before taking Cypress's wrist to check his pulse. It was still there. He was still alive. Alright just don't die on me Lee said through the cracks in his voice. He lifted Cypress's shirt to see the blood oozing from a wound in his torso. Ok calm down Lee said to himself as he started to panic you can do this. He took his pants legs and cut them off then tied them together wrapping them tightly around Cypress's wound. Tears were now streaming down his face and he was sobbing. What if Cypress didn't wake up and he was left all alone in the middle of nowhere? I'm sorry he cried quietly I shouldn't have been so mean to you from the start, even if I didn't think it was a big deal, you did, and I didn't take your feelings seriously like I should have because you're a person too. There was silence and Cypress didn't move. It was getting dark and Lee was terrified. Please wake up he begged. Just then Cypress started coughing and spitting out some blood as he sat up and looked over at Lee. Nice booty shorts asshole Cypress said with a strained laugh. Lee was laughing and crying at the same time.
