Thank God Lee sighed then made a face, Hey do you smell something. Cypress nodded and begun looking around. Lee waited. Cypress walked back over to him. Lee I need you to listen to me okay Cypress said putting his hands on his shoulders and blocking his view of anything ahead. Lee looked at him confused. What's going on he asked. Just do what I say okay trust me Cypress said turn around and keep your eyes closed. Lee did what he said, still confused. Cypress walked away and started doing something but Lee couldn't tell what it was. Do you know what that smell is Lee asked. Yeah Cypress called from somewhere behind him hesitantly, it's Gayle. What Lee shouted swinging around in a panic to see what was happening. Cypress was staring up into a tree where Gayle was dangling by the branch impaled through their neck with both their wings torn out and thrown on the ground. Their body rotting in the heat of the sun. Lee immediately threw up. Cypress came back over to Lee who was wiping his mouth and trying not throw up again. I told you not to turn around Cypress said but that doesn't matter now let's get out of these woods now, I don't think we're welcome here. Both the boys ran as fast as they possibly could in the opposite direction because Cypress knew for a fact there were definitely more bodies in those woods.
