The knights ran towards my mother and forcibly took her away. There was nothing I could do. I tried to bring those crazy villagers to their senses, but they seemed to be under control; their eyes were not normal. The knights were dragging her towards death. Finally, I reached my mother and stood in front of her.
"Let her go! How can you?"
The knights looked like madmen. Without any hesitation, they pushed me to the ground, but I didn't care. I stood up and started pulling at their golden armor.
"Enough."
I stopped moving at the sound of my mother's voice beside me and stared at her with frightened eyes. My mother was someone who was very scary when angry, but she didn't have a face of anger or worry.
"Mom..."
"It's no use. This will happen eventually. Jessa, end it."
"But..."
"Go and try not to live like the dream you saw this time."
Hearing this sentence, I froze as if my heart was being ripped out of my chest. The knights took her up to the execution platform. The large blade that caused her head to be cut off for the second time... but how did this happen again? Why again... why is this scene here again? How is it possible? With tear-filled eyes, I stared at the gallows where my mother was wrongly executed for prophecy.
The place I had seen over and over in my nightmares. Angels surrounded her and shouted, "Devil! Execute the devil!"
Monica, with her head between the blades, gave her usual smile and muttered unclear words that I understood only after she no longer had a head. I knelt on the ground, my tears mixing with my mother's blood on the dusty ground.
Silently, my tears streamed down my face. At that moment, I felt a dangerous aura behind me, covering me. A relatively large shadow, like a phantom, smiled.
"Who... who are you?"
The woman, with a harsh and mocking voice, said, "I am the one you are looking for, child. I am the one who can help you."
I stared at the woman with hesitation and curiosity. I didn't know whether to trust her or not. Who was she? Where did that ominous power come from?
"You seek power, don't you, child? You want to avenge your mother, don't you?"
For the second time, kneeling in the same place, I looked around. The angels, as if they had done nothing wrong, left the place with complete satisfaction. They didn't even care about the child who had lost her mother because of them. I stood up and walked towards my mother's severed head. I went to the bucket where her head was placed, reached in, and pulled it out. My mother's beautiful hair, no longer as long as before, and her closed eyes... still smiling, her frozen body looked beautiful.
"It's no use. All of this is because those devils discarded my mother. They started all these problems. They are the cause of all this misery."
I placed my mother's head inside her coffin next to her lifeless body. The woman came to the head of the coffin and looked sadly at the person inside the grave.
"Trust me. I am the only one who can help you. Look around you. Is there anyone on your side?"
"Alright, I trust you."
"You made the right decision. Come with me."
The woman raised her hand, and in the blink of an eye, my mother's coffin glowed and disappeared.
"Where did it go?"
"I just took the coffin to a place where she wanted to be."
I exhaled powerfully. She extended her hand towards me, and I took it. A black gate formed in front of us, like a dark pit. Nothing else mattered to me. I entered that pit.
For a moment, it seemed like everything was dark forever, but a luminous ribbon started spinning around me. It was very dazzling.
That mysterious woman with a terrifying appearance had silver hair that reached her neck, as if it was made for her. Her eyes were like red roses in the middle of her pupils.
I turned into a villain who mercilessly killed anyone commanded, becoming a tool for evil. Despite my death, the havoc continued, and I became a wandering spirit. Now, with a chance for redemption, I decided to change my ways. But can those who hated me become my family, and can someone hurt by me fall in love with me?
