In the meantime, Miyu was waiting for the dinner to arrive at a restaurant by herself. Her eyes grew wide when she saw June running past the restaurant window while Vespera pursued him.

"Dinner will have to wait it seems!" Miyu murmured to herself as she hurriedly got up from her chair and left.

  Dana noticed her niece wasn't there when she came out of the restroom as Miyu was leaving. With the danger outside, the Onyx Maiden stood elegantly in the colorful restaurant as everyone else sought refuge under the table. She wore black boots with a beautiful crimson dress that flowed gracefully over her body.

"Miyu, where have you disappeared to?"Dana pondered.

  The scene cuts to Miyu clashing her sword against Vespera's claw before rushing to June's help.

“June, I'm here! Miyu nodded, saying, "You have nothing to worry about."

"Be careful, she's strong!" June said.

Vespera's might alarmed June, so the winged demon chose to tease Miyu from above.

"Be careful, little hero! Vespera teased, "You might break a nail trying to keep up with me."

"Let's see how that goes!" Miyu shot back

Vespera laughed loudly across the tumultuous streets, deftly avoiding every swing Miyu made.

"Is that all you've got, little girl?" I had higher expectations!"

With frustration visible in her eyes, Miyu gritted her teeth. She tried to utilize her Star Breaker move, but Vespera easily absorbed it and shot sparks into the air.

"Miyu, you're really entertaining. Regretfully, you lack the strength to confront a true demon!"

Enraged, Miyu unleashed a barrage of blows with her blade, but Vespera deftly sidestepped each one. Vespera descended quickly and delivered a forceful strike that knocked Miyu to the ground. With her body smashed and damaged, Miyu clenched her teeth and struggled to stand again.

"I refuse to give up!" Ignoring the pain, Miyu yelled as she hurriedly lunged toward Vespera and raised her blade once more.

 "Sorry, sweetie, but you're out of my league!" Vespera grins as she shot Miyu with an explosive cupid heart ray.

Miyu was thrown back by the explosion's shockwaves and fell to the ground in a jumbled heap. Violet watched Miyu battle Vespera from the shadows, and she couldn't help but chuckle.

Violet thought to herself, "Looks like Miyu's not as invincible as she thinks."

June raced to Miyu's side as the fight raged, worry visible on his face. Vespera approached June, who began to sweat uncomfortably, very slowly and sweetly.

"All right, sweetheart! Please remove your shirt so I may see more of your gorgeous, young body."

"What? No!" June objected, finding it strange.

"Darling, I'm a succubus, and every girl has her needs." Please don't tell me you've never dated a woman." Vespera teased him by showing off her breasts. "Do you prefer that I undress you? I know how to have fun with you."

June keeps hesitating and retreats a few steps while Vespera's attention is now on his pants.

"I apologize, but no thanks. I would prefer to keep my clothes.

 "Something tells me your friend in your pants doesn't feel the same way." Vespera teased.

Violet struggled to find a way to call Vespera back while frantically fumbling with her locket in the distance.

"Come on, tell me how this works. Perhaps a 'Return Demon' button or anything like exists." Violet mumbled, clearly frustrated, "This is totally not in the plan. I call her in to sow disarray, not to pursue June personally. This is really over the line, Vespera!"

Within moments, Vespera was stopped cold before she could touch June by one of Dana's dual swords hitting the floor. June assisted Miyu in getting up as Dana arrived on the scene.

"Miyu, I've been wondering why you went so quickly. You and your father are exactly alike. Dana responded, "I'll take care of this from here."

Then, in front of Vespera, she transformed into the flaming Onyx Maiden by removing her enchanted locket.

Vespera shot back, showing her displeasure, "Well, well, if it isn't the party pooper. This ain't my first rodeo, you know. I was just getting started with the fun, and now you're crashing it."

Dana calmly and confidently said, "True, but this is where your wild ride comes to an end."

The demon soars into the sky and circles about Dana as she uses her wings to summon a storm.

Vespera teased, "Hold on tight, cowgirl! This rodeo's about to get wild!"

Dana raised her twin swords with a determined glare, and flames danced from their razor-sharp edges.

"I'm not one to be roped in so easily. Let's see if you can keep up."

Tension in the air crackled as Vespera and Dana battled in the darkness. Vespera, her wings outstretched, threw a volley of explosive needles at Dana, but Dana deflected them with her twin blades, and the fireballs exploded harmlessly in the air, failing to breach Dana's magical shield.

Dana mocked, "Sorry, but you'll have to do better!"

Meanwhile, back at Violet's house, Ran's patrol car came up to the curb. She hurried inside and looked about, her eyes hardening as she yelled for Violet.

Ran called and said, "Violet, your mother asked me to pick you up. We're going out."

She was taken aback by the abnormally quiet house, until she noticed a small note on the kitchen counter, which she picked up and read the hastily scrawled words written by Violet.

Violet said, "Don't wait up. I'm going to see June."

Ran shook her head and moaned, "Of course, she'd sneak out on her birthday. This girl never changes."

Reluctantly, Ran turned back toward the car, realizing that she had to do her part.

Returning to the battle, Vespera changed her approach and launched a wave of cupid hearts. Dana was unmoved and called out a whirling vortex of flames that absorbed and neutralized the love-infused energy.

"You're annoying me!" Vespera shouted.

Dana yelled, "It's time to end this rodeo!"

She retaliated by swinging her two blades in complex patterns, sending Vespera flying through the air as each slice blasted arcs of burning flames in her direction.

Vespera gasped, "She's much stronger than I thought."

The intensity of Dana's flames overcame Vespera as the battle continued, and in one last push, Dana unleashes her fiercest assault.

"Dark Rhapsody!"

With a hilarious yelp, Vespera transformed back into a spirit in order to retreat as the tremendous heat and energy became too much for her in a last flash of brilliant brightness.

"Until next time!" Vespera chuckled as she left Dana and the rest.

The fight came to an end when her soul descended, not far from the skate park, and was finally reabsorbed into Violet's locket, where Vespera was reprimanded by Violet.

"What were you thinking, Vespera? It was not in the plan to flirt with June in that way!"

"Oh, come on, kiddo! I was just having some fun," Vespera said, flashing a cheeky smile.
