Akuma rests for a little bit more before heading home, Tanaka got dragged by Nishida so he walked alone

Akuma: "Rinaaa, I'm hooome" "Rina? Where the hell are you?

Akuma goes to Rina's room, he finds her asleep on her bed, the opened boxes and bottles of medicine indicate that she took them

Akuma: "Are you asleep?" *puts his hand near her nose* "Good, you're breathing"

Akuma: "... I'm gonna do something, alright? Wait for me"

Akuma is very hungry, but instead of buying some convenient store food, he remembered how Rina mocks him for not being able to cook and wants to show off

Akuma: "Alright Akuma, it's time for you to prove yourself" *whispers* "It's time to stop depending on others for once in your life..."

Akuma: "Okay, to make an omelet we need eggs, a pan, olive oil, salt, and that's probably it"

Akuma: "Alright so, Step 1: Take the pan and put it on the stove, medium high? What's that? Eh, probably doesn't matter"

Akuma: "Step 2: Add some olive oil to your pan, so far so good. Now whisk your eggs in a bowl, side note: you can add milk? Why would I add milk??? That makes zero sense!"

Akuma: "Okay, now I just put my whisked eggs in the pan and let it sit there. Now where's the salt?"

Akuma: "Salt, salt, salt, wait... Are we OUT OF SALT? UNACCEPTABLE! Wait for me, my glorious omelet for I shall be back"

Akuma sprints to the nearest convenience store and buys some salt and pepper, but he also got distracted and bought some noodles and sweets as well

Akuma: "I'm back for you my omelet! Please don't be burnt I beg you..."

The omelet was in fact not burnt, Akuma applies salt and pepper to it and flips it over

Akuma: "Alright, this is going smoothly, let's keep it this way. I wanna get cocky sooo bad, but I must resist..." "Let me just put my noodles in a pot to cook while the omelet's frying"

Akuma flips over the omelet, cuts it in half, puts the noodles in 2 seperate bowls, and goes to Rina's room

Akuma: *knock, knock* "Rina, I'm coming in"

Rina: *snoring*

Akuma: "I made you some dinner, wake up and eat" *puts the food on the table next to her bed*

Rina: *still snoring*

Akuma: *worried* "Rina..." *hugs her* "You must be starving by now... I'm sorry, I'm sorry for leaving you like this all by yourself"

Rina: *stops snoring*

Akuma: "You always take care of me no matter the circumstances. But this time, I'm the one who will take care of you... I lo-"

Rina: "Mmmmm, bro?"

Akuma is startled by Rina and the fact that she might have heard what he said, he immediately backs off

Akuma: "R-Rina, are you okay?"

Rina: "Yeaaah, I'm fiine, I'm getting b-better"

Akuma: "Here, I made dinner"

Rina: "Awww that's so sweet, if I wasn't *cough* sick I would've hugged you so *sniff* hard that your back would crack"

Akuma: "Y-Yeah..."

Rina: "Did you burn the kitchen down? It's fine if you did"

Akuma: "No, I didn't this time"

Rina: "Are you suuure?"

Akuma: "Yes, I'm sure! Now taste!" *feeds her the omelet*

Rina: "Mmm, not bad bro! This is good!"

Akuma: *blushes* "I-It's edible, I guess..."

Rina: "I'm proud of you."

After hearing what Rina said, Akuma feels his heartbeat increase and his eyes open wide from excitement

Akuma: "Th-Thank- *sigh* just eat"

Akuma feeds his sister because she's sick. They finish their meal and Akuma goes to wash the dishes, and heads straight to bed.

The next morning, Akuma packs up his omelet leftovers for school lunch and leaves. At the school's gates he sees Nishida, but this time he decides to greet her

Akuma: "Nishida! Good mornin-"

Nishida: *pierces through his soul with her eyes and continues walking*

Akuma: "Sorry." (God, Nishida is scary, I should probably just avoid her)

Akuma makes his way to the classroom, he sits down and starts talking with Akito

Akuma: "Mornin' Akito"

Akito: "Akumaaa, how are yo- Oh god, did you not get enough sleep?"

Akuma: "Is it that obvious?"

Akito: "Weeell, I wouldn't say it's obvious, more like-"

Akuma: "I get it, stop trying to sugarcoat it"

Akito: "Alright, jeez. I was trying to not be mean"

Akuma: "I don't think the truth was that harsh"

Akito: "Sorry"

Ms. Asami comes to class with a look of disappointment and uncertainty, but she still has that serious face and deadly stare

Ms. Asami: "Good morning class, I know this might sound unfair to you, but I am left with no other choice. Although we're still a month away from exams, tests will begin starting from tomorrow"

The entire class is appalled by this statement, yelling loudly and protesting almost immediately

Akuma: "WHAAAAT????"

Akito: "That's so unfair! How is this allowed?"

Ms. Asami: "Calm down, everyone. The decision was not mine to make"

Akito: "This is unacceptable!"

Akuma: "Ms. Asami, can't you do something about it?"

Tanaka: "Why were we not informed beforeha-"

Ms. Asami: "Silence!"

Ms. Asami slams the desk and yells out, striking fear into the entire class and bringing back the calm atmosphere

Ms. Asami: "If you have any complaints, you can discuss them with the principle. For now, I have a lesson to teach, so remain quiet"

Lunch time comes and Tanaka is looking at Akuma intensily with a sad expression

Nishida: "Ughhhh I can't believe this is actually happening, I'm glad I paid attention throughout the semester. What about you Fumiko?"

Tanaka: "Mmmm" *rests her head on her arm*

Nishida: "Fumiko!"

Tanaka: *startled* "O-Oh s-sorry Emiko"

Nishida: "What's going on with you?! Why won't you tell me?!"

Tanaka: "I told you, I'm fine!"

Nishida: "Then why are you looking at Hayashi so much?"

Tanaka: "I-I was?"

Nishida: "Did he do something to you? I swear to god if he hurt you I'm gonna-"

Tanaka: "N-No, not at all!"

Nishida: "Then what it is Fumiko?!"

Tanaka: "It's just that... Akuma joined the track team..."

Nishida: "Ohhhh, you're afraid of that happening again, aren't you?"

Tanaka: *holding back tears* "Mhm..."

Nishida: "Awww don't worry about it" *hugs her from behind* "Emiko is always here for you, no matter how many people leave. Besides, who needs Hayashi anyways?"

Tanaka: "But, Akuma's my friend"

Nishida: "I'm also your friend, your best friend in fact!"

Tanaka: *smiles* "Thank you, Emiko."

Nishida: "Shut uuup, don't thank me"

Tanaka: "Hehe, sorry"

Nishida: "Don't apologize either!"

Meanwhile, Akuma and Akito and eating lunch together

Akito: "This is absurd! How is this even fair?!"

Akuma: "Well, iph yuu got a pwobwem why *swallows* don't you file a complaint to the principle?"

Akito: "Are you insane? The principle is a madman, there is no convincing that guy"

Akuma: "Is he really that bad? I've never heard anything about him"

Akito: "That's because you live under a rock dude"

Akuma: "...Fair enough" (He's right, my entire life was based on fooling around carelessly)

Akito: "Although, it's really interesting"

Akuma: "What's interesting?"

Akito: "You've been actually talking with people recently, how did that happen?"

Akuma: "Well, I just got bored of not talking so, I started... Talking..."

Akito: "That's the dumbest motive I've ever heard, you would be a terrible main character"

Akuma: "You know this is real life, right? You should stop reading so much manga"

Akito: "Don't act like you don't read manga yourself"

Akuma: "I do, but manga is only applicable in fiction"

Akito: "What does that even mean?"

Akuma: *sigh* "I'm not even gonna bother"

Akito: "Oh come on! Am I really that hopeless?"

Akuma: "Yes"

Akito: "You were supposed to say *corny accent* 'Not at all my dear friend Akito! How about we have dinner togetherrr', if only I was Tanaka then maybe you'd actually say that"

Akuma: *pulls out his fist igniting with fire*

Akito: "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to- AHHH"

After having lunch, school is cut short due to Ms. Asami leaving abruptly, everyone starts wondering if anything happened to her since she has not been looking like her usual self these last few days, but club activities never stop thanks to Tanaka's determination to keep everything on track (literally)

Tanaka: "Akuuu! Are you ready for running like your life depends on it?"

Akuma: "Yes! I am!" (No I'm not)

Tanaka: "Alright, let's begin now! Let me grab my megaphone, get ready!"

Akuma: (Yesss, she has no idea what I prepared for this occasion)

Tanaka: *megaphone* "Alright everyone, ready... Set... Go!!!"

When the countdown is done, Akuma pulls out some earplugs and puts them in his ears, a brilliant solution to not get distracted by Tanaka's yelling

Akuma: (This is gonna be so much fun!! I can run in peace now, no more distractions)

Tanaka: "Oooo way to go Hayashi! You're doing so much better from last time!"

Akuma: (Yes! I'm in the lead for once!)

Tanaka: "Go Hayashi! Go Hayashi! Go Hayashi!"

Akuma: (This is AWESOOOME, I can't even hear anything!)

As Akuma is running with excitement, the people behind are looking to sabotage him, one girl is catching up to him and is aiming to knock him into the ground. Tanaka yells as loud as she can into the megaphone

Tanaka: "Hayashiii!!! Watch out!!!"

Akuma: (Wait, I can kinda hear Tanaka, aww man are my earplugs falling off? I better fix them before I lose them)

?????: "Hehehe, Hayashi, I'm coming for you!"

Akuma, unable to hear her, could not anticipate what was about to happen. As a result, the girl pushes him which makes him lose his balance and fall, additionally his earplugs fall off and are no where to be found

?????: "Hehe, idiot."

Akuma: (What the hell? Why??)

Tanaka: "Ouuuch, Abe just knocked Hayashi into the ground. You need to stand back up Hayashi!"

Akuma: (Where are... My earplugs? Let me try looking for the-) "ARGHHH"

Akuma tries to stand up to look for his earplugs, but as soon as he puts his right leg to work, he feels an unbearable amount of pain in his knee. He immediately collapses and crawls into a ball in pain, he looks over at it and notices that it's out of place

Akuma: (I'm never wearing earplugs again...)
