On their ride to the last destination before they find the Holy Grail, Sif demanded the answer as to why he does that, why he sacrifices his arm, body, mental health and even his mother just so she, a stranger, can find Holy Grail, for reasons unknown to him.

He still didn't want to answer her that. They went back and forth for some time and eventually she got so mad she decided to leave, "I don't need you, if u won't tell me why you do what you do, I don't want to go with you!"

He managed to calm her down, and promised her that if she comes with him, he will tell her everything once she gets to drink from the Holy Grail.

They continued the ride when she started talking about her husband. 

"He was a kind man, but he was cursed. You see, Sol, the strongest of the witches, she is not truly of a golden skadi, but of diamond sol, she was so strong that she had whole tribe after her. She was enemy of my husband, and bad person. She would bring terror everywhere she goes, and in order to fight her. He had to become a potemancer himself, but that was not enough so he sought one of the the Holy Grail's, the Green Grail Of Power.

He managed to acquire it and killed her, but she managed to curse him. When he dies, he will be thrown into wherever she was sent after death, where they will need to fight. If he wins, he gets resurrected until he dies again and has to fight her again. On the other hand, if she wins the duel. She is the one who gets resurrected until she dies and cycle repeats forever. 

I cant help him, I know, but I don't know when he will get resurrected, sometimes he gets back in couple of hours, sometimes years pass by. I can't risk him coming back in like a hundred years and never seeing him again. I need something to let me live enough, Red Grail of Immortality.

I know I am not strong witch now, but I am sure if I have enough time and proper training, I will be able to defend people I love, if one day, she wins the battle against my husband. 

That much I owe him, because you see, in the battle against Sol, my husband missed his right arm and I managed to manifest one on him so he can wield his spear, but in the most important moment, when he was about to strike her, she turned off my magic and my husband was unable to pick up his spear for a second, which gave her the window to curse him of eternal life and pain. That is why I swore to never use my magic again, I don't want to make anyone rely on me just for me to not be enough and harm them.

That is my story, that is why I seek holy grail. To see my husband again, and to eventually protect people if he fails, I am sure he would want that. He is kind man, I also think he would like you too... because you too are kind, Gabriel. 

That's why I named you that, that is his name, he is Gabriel."

Our Gabriel was amazed by the story, by her husbands tragic but inspiring death and her goal to help him. 

"We arrived" said he, "we will be in front of the gates in just a minute 

"That is good news, now that we are at the end, I want to thank you, man, I want to thank you for all that you have done for me, I can't wait to see why you did all this, but nevertheless I am grateful" said Sif exhausted and emotional

Just as they were approaching the gates, someone on the top of the mountain in front of them, shot at them with bow and arrow.

"You guys are lucky" he said

On the top of the mountain was Jebe, a great Mongolian general known for his archer skills. While from the bushes came out a man with a golden ball and golden stick, though he was made out of stone, he was covered in gold.

Man that started running towards chanting prayers in language they don't speak is called Mansa Musa, the richest man in history. An emperor of Mali empire.

He started running at them at incredible speed and started beating the horse with his stick. Both Sif and Gabriel jumped down from the horse, but as soon as they did, arrow that was meant for them missed, and shot straight into the horse who is already fighting for its life.

Gabriel took out his sword and went to attack Mansa Musa but was shot in the leg by Jebe, the great archer. 

"If you move, I will shoot the girl!" Jebe said planning to let Mansa Musa to finish them both, but Sif started running away. Quick reflexes of Jebe let him turn around and shoot at her fast, but they didn't count that Piebald will jump in front of the arrow, taking the hit for her. 

Gabriel used that moment to slash Mansa Musa and wound him pretty easily. Mansa Musa fell on the ground but Gabriel took another arrow shot in the body but nothing fatal, then he got shot two more times, once in his arm, and once in his other leg. 

Then Jebe started looking for Sif, but couldn't find her so he shot two more arrows in Gabriel yelling "If you don't show yourself here fast, this man will die!"

"I already said It once I will say It again, I am grateful for his service but If he dies, Its because of his own choices, you can't blackmail me like that... but I will protect him If I can, and in this position I most definitely can" Sif said right behind Jebe, "So you were not hiding, but climbing up to get to me...smart...though I don't know if you will be able to do anything to be you know, I am made out of stone and all you can do is make another limb or two..." said Jebe still having his back turned 

"I may not be able to kill you, but I know what can" said Sif after which Jebe heard click right behind his head, then another click which was the sound of her pulling the trigger on the dual barrel rifle she took from Gabriel when they jumped from the horse. Jebe was killed instantly, and then she aimed at Mansa Musa to kill him as well, she fired once, then repeated ammo and fired again, and again. She missed all of the shots.

Jebe only managed to hit them because he was a skilled archer, she is not that skilled with her gun.

On her was down, she saw that Gabriel was weakened because of all the cuts and arrows in him. But Gabriel didn't give up yet, he strikes once, and again and again. At some point he manages to cut off Mansa Musa's arm so they both have one each. Sif runs towards them to help but Gabriel tells her that if she gets any closer she is dead, "This man is too dangerous!" he said

Both Mansa Musa and Gabriel are trying to cut each other's necks but at some point they both got the idea to cut each others hands, in the same exact time so they perfectly countered each other. Then they decide to cut their heads again, and again arms, they go like that for some time, changing their target in the exact same time, at some point when they were about to change to cutting each others heads, Mansa Musa didn't got for it, he went for Gabriel's Leg. 

Mansa Musa managed to cut off Gabriel's leg which made him lose balance and start falling down, while he was falling, Mansa Musa already started his new attack which will be fatal but while he was falling, all of a sudden Gabriel's leg gets replaced by yellow leg made out of magic force itself. 

Sif got scared and decided to break her promise and help Gabriel win this battle. Now with new leg, Gabriel manages to take Mansa Musa off guard and cut his throat with a single blow.

"Thank you." Gabriel said

"I don't know what are you talking about, thank you, I wouldn't be able to get this far without you, I don't know why you accept to go through all this for me but I am glad I am finally about to know. "Sif said with tears in her eyes "You know, for a moment there, I really thought you are going to die... you scared me..."

"Sorry for that, now lets get inside." 

Once they were inside, they saw two stands made out of stone, on one there is a cup and on the other there is a knife. Behind them is a statue of an old man with rubies for eyes.

The statue spoke, "Congratulations on surviving all of my challenges, you will be claimed truly worth to drink from my cup once you finish another task. In front of you there is a cup that is what you call a Holy Grail. It is empty though, you need to fill it up with your blood. The one who stabs himself with that knife and pours their blood into the cup will die...the other person... they will be granted immortality once they drink that blood"

Sif felt chills through her spine, she slowly looked at Gabriel to see what he has to say about it, but when she looked at him, was already on the floor, stabbed himself in the stomach with a cup placed under him. "The Holy Grail is already half full, Sif, you will be immortal" he said with a smile.

"Gabriel no, what are you doing stop it!" she cried

"You will see your husband again!" He yelled, trying not to cry

The cup was full and Gabriel fell on the floor "no, don't die! I still don't know...I still don't know your name!" she said while pouring his blood from Holy Grail into his mouth.

"He is already dead" said the statue

Sif stood there in silence for few minutes, then she drank few sips from the holy grail and put it back in its place. She took mans rifle and claymore, and went outside. She climbed on Piebald and with him she jumped from the top of the mountain. Piebald jumped because his master is dead, and she to see if she is immortal. They both hit the ground, Piebald dies on impact, but Sif just stands up and starts walking back to her city. 

She was much more serious and sad from that day, although she eventually lightened up after thousand years. She would tell her husband stories about that mysterious man, and he would gladly hear them.
