"Empire of Cassial"

kings, kingdoms, peace treaty

kings, kingdoms, peace treaty

Sep 07, 2024

## **1. Cassial**
- **Famous Monarch:** *King Carlos Cassial*
- **Description:** A wise and moderate ruler known for strategic intelligence and efficient management of political and commercial affairs. King Carlos enhanced the kingdom's balance between magic and technology, bestowing eternal youth and boundless abilities upon his people and family through the blessings of Amadeus, the ruler of Nablarium. Although Carlos was not the first ruler, he was the most renowned, and under his reign, Cassial began to develop significantly. The eternal youth of their bloodline grants them unusual healing abilities, to the extent that simply being in their presence can induce a sense of well-being or gradually heal minor wounds.

- **Abilities:** Proficient in techno-magic, blending science and sorcery, with an aptitude for managing resources and innovations.
- **Family History:** The Cassial family has a long history of rule, founded by their first monarch, Valdemar, on principles of progress and justice. They continue to uphold their legacy through wise governance and sustainable development.

### **2. Mirasia**

- **King:** *King Zoltan, the first and founder*
The current ruler is Darcon, *father of Isolda* (rumored to have died in a fire in his study). It is now ruled by William Aron, the son of the former minister, as Démic Cassial, the sole heir after Isolda's execution for treason, is missing. The conflict between Cassial and Mirasia began after Isolda's execution and the discovery that Mirasia coveted Cassial's healing blood—intending to either kill Cassial's people to drink their blood or conduct experiments on them. The war ended with the sealing of the Seven Dragons of Cassial, and Cassius fell ill with a mysterious disease after Démic and "Alan" were kidnapped. Cassius was then placed in a glass coffin surrounded by tulip flowers.

Mirasia’s blind ambition for immortality drove them to ally with Serathor, who tempted them with promises of bestowing what Amadeus, the ruler of Niblarion, had given to Cassial's people if they broke his seal. This obsession led to a sudden and mysterious fire in Dargon's study, resulting in his death. Minister Aron temporarily ruled Mirasia, but William Aron, his successor, is considered weak and ineffective by some. They preferred his older brother, Kristin Aron, but their father had been denied inheritance of the family leadership. The people of Mirasia did not expect much from Démic Cassial’s return, knowing he would not leave Cassial and Evering would not allow it. However, they hoped for it due to his pure blood from two royal families and his gentle nature and intelligence, which were known to avoid pointless wars like his grandfather Darcon did. After their war with Cassial, Mirasia's people grew weary of the conflict and pressured Darcon Zoltan and his allies to sign the greatest peace treaty on the continent to end the war, which had resulted in a loss for all.

- **Description of Dargon:** A mysterious and powerful king, characterized by his enigmatic personality and mastery of dark magic. He rules with an iron fist and follows a policy of isolation.
- **Abilities:** Skilled in dark magic and manipulation of dark forces, making him formidable. He has the power to cast powerful spells and manipulate natural elements.
- **Family History:** The Zoltan family is an ancient lineage that has ruled Mirasia with a strong and brutal hand over the centuries, contributing to the persistence of their dark magic and dominance over surrounding lands.
### **3. Valeria**
- **Current King:** *King Arthur Valeria*
- **Description:** A courageous and prominent warrior king, symbolizing justice and bravery. He leads his armies with pride and strategic acumen.
- **Abilities:** Exceptional combat skills and strategic warfare prowess, with the ability to inspire and lead his troops effectively in battle.
- **Family History:** The Valeria family has a long tradition of military training and building fighting forces, inheriting the legacy of courage and heroism from their ancestors who were battlefield champions.

### **4. Norfeld**
- **Current King:** *King Erik Norfeld*
- **Description:** A wise and strong king, known for his resilience and endurance in the face of adversity. He rules with a firm but just hand.
- **Abilities:** Capable of communicating with and summoning ice creatures, controlling cold weather, and creating ice fortifications.
- **Family History:** The Norfeld family has a long history of safeguarding the northern lands with a strong grip, preserving old traditions associated with snow and ice.

### **5. Elanthia**
- **Current King:** *King Aelios*
- **Description:** An ambitious and proactive king, renowned for his diplomatic and commercial skills. He seeks to enhance his kingdom's power through trade and maritime influence.
- **Abilities:** Skilled in maritime affairs and trade management, with abilities in water magic and communication with marine creatures.
- **Family History:** The Elanthia family has a long-standing tradition in maritime trade and port management, contributing to their kingdom's status as a major commercial hub on the continent.

### **6. Sylvannia**
- **Current King:** *King Eldor*
- **Description:** A careful and nature-loving king, adept at communicating with magical creatures and maintaining environmental balance. He governs with wisdom and a strong commitment to nature conservation.
- **Abilities:** Proficient in natural magic, able to channel forest powers to protect the kingdom, and communicate with fairies and sprites.
- **Family History:** The Eldor family has a longstanding history of protecting nature and promoting peace, continuing their legacy through environmental stewardship.

### **7. Asteria**
- **Current King:** *King Titharus*
- **Description:** A wise and inquisitive king, focusing on astronomical science and stellar energy. He fosters knowledge and research within his kingdom.
- **Abilities:** Skilled in star magic and manipulation of celestial energy, with the ability to predict future events and analyze the stars.
- **Family History:** The Asteria family is renowned for its tradition in studying stars and astronomy, having established their kingdom based on deep knowledge of star magic and scientific research.

# **Allies of Cassial:**

1. **Valeria:** A primary ally of Cassial, Valeria is renowned for its military strength and its leader, King Arthur, who values justice and bravery. The alliance between Cassial and Valeria is based on mutual interests in maintaining peace and stability and combating Mirasia's dark ambitions.

2. **Norfeld:** Led by King Erik, Norfeld stands with Cassial, particularly due to their shared principles of honor and strength. This icy kingdom provides substantial support to Cassial in times of crisis, with its forces capable of countering both magical and environmental threats.

3. **Sylvannia:** Under the rule of King Eldor, Sylvannia tends to support Cassial due to their commitment to maintaining ecological and magical balance. Although Sylvannia prefers neutrality, the dangers posed by Mirasia to nature have driven it to ally with Cassial.

4. **Elanthia:** Led by King Aelios, Elanthia supports Cassial commercially and diplomatically. Their alliance is founded on thriving trade relations, with Elanthia providing maritime resources and port assistance, thus enhancing Cassial’s economy and naval power.

### **Allies of Mirasia:**

1. **Asteria:** Under King Titharus, Asteria is not a direct ally of Mirasia but maintains a complex relationship, with Mirasia benefiting from Asteria’s expertise in stellar magic and astronomical sciences. This alliance is informal and based on shared scientific and research interests.

### **The Great Continental Peace Treaty:**

After a series of wars and conflicts, the kingdoms were compelled to sign a comprehensive peace treaty due to the severe losses incurred. The **Great Continental Peace Treaty** emerged from public pressure and a desire to end the bloody wars that had resulted in significant casualties and resource depletion. The treaty included:

- **Ceasefire Agreement:** A commitment to cease all hostilities and end all forms of antagonism between the kingdoms.
- **Prisoner Exchange and Security Guarantees:** The release of prisoners and a pledge to avoid future aggression.
- **Magical Balance Regulation:** An agreement to regulate the use of black magic and limit dangerous research that threatens the continent, thereby reducing Mirasia’s influence reliant on such powers.
- **Economic Cooperation:** Enhanced trade relations among the kingdoms to foster development and peace, particularly between Cassial and its allies, and Mirasia, which needs to rebuild after the war.

The peace treaty marked a turning point in the continent’s history but also created fertile ground for betrayals and schemes, particularly from Mirasia, which may seek to break the treaty to achieve its hidden ambitions.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

**The Kingdom of Nablarium, the Kingdom of the Skies**, is a sacred land high above the worlds, remaining detached from direct interference in earthly affairs, maintaining its celestial neutrality. However, it is not merely a distant realm but the source of the blessings that made Cassial unique, thriving in the balance between magic and technology. In times past, when the heavens and the earth trembled under the weight of darkness, Nablarium emerged as a bastion against the forces of evil.

**Serathor, the Lord of the Underworld, ruler of the Netherworld Kingdom of Neregard**, aspired to control the Kingdom of the Skies to become the supreme monarch and harness its power to destroy the worlds. Faced with this imminent threat, **King Carlos Cassial** sacrificed his life to seal Serathor into the depths of oblivion during their second battle against him after he was released by Mirasia’s allies. This grand sacrifice led to the sealing of both Carlos and Serathor, placing the skies of Nablarium under stringent constraints imposed by the **Supreme Council of Rulers**, a formidable entity consisting of six unknown rulers, with their identities concealed even from the closest celestial eyes.

These constraints enforced a policy of isolation on Nablarium, preventing its powers from being exploited again in mortal conflicts. Nevertheless, the blessings it granted Cassial stand as a testament to their profound connection, as Cassial’s wings serve as a whisper from the skies, reminding all that supreme power may choose silence, but never forgets those who sacrificed for it.

### **Evering's Office**

"Brother, are you really going to send the invitations now like this?"

Kaylos asked with curiosity, standing next to Evering, who was seated at his desk. His sleek, thin tablet was set before him. The touch screen displayed text clearly, and the device boasted a polished metallic design. Thanks to its advanced technology, it allowed Evering to send invitations through a magical network, with a spell-based encryption feature to maintain the confidentiality of the information. As he reviewed the screen, his fingers swiftly tapped to update details and dispatch invitations to the neighboring rulers for their visit to Cassial to celebrate the discovery of his siblings and their appointment to their positions.

"Yes," Evering replied coolly.

"But brother, if the invitations go out now, when will they arrive? If we use magical airships, there will be navigation issues. If we use ships, that won’t work either; it’s not suitable for everyone. And if we use magical trains, that’s also not fast enough to reach today."

"There are easier ways. Set up magical gates at the borders of each kingdom, inform them of the matter, and assign guards and healing priests. You handle it."

"Brother, I beg you, Evering, delay it for just a week. It’s inappropriate. We need to send formal paper invitations and wait for responses. Also, the servants have been running around since morning, they’re already exhausted. Please, delay it."

Evering sighed at his brother’s incessant pleas.

"Fine, you get your way, but only for a week. After a week, the invitations will reach everywhere."

"Even to Mirasia?" Kaylos asked.

"Even to Mirasia," Evering confirmed.

"But the current ruler of Mirasia is William Aron. If he comes and sees Démic, or worse, he might bring his wife too."

"And that’s what’s needed, Kal."

"But Evering, Jina, his ex-wife, and his fake brother—how will Démic handle all this?"

"Démic is strong, don’t worry. Besides, we’ll tell him they’re invited."

"Just like we informed him about Jina’s marriage."

Evering laughed at Kaylos’s comment and patted his shoulder.

"Brother, if Démic hadn’t left the palace that day without my knowledge and followed him now because he’s worried about what happened, all this... I know it’s not his fault, but he deserves a reprimand."

"Brother, you can be harsh sometimes." Kaylos smiled wryly.

Evering playfully ruffled his younger brother’s hair. "Oh, aren’t I?"

After their conversation, the order was issued to postpone the celebration by a week, and the servants finally breathed a sigh of relief.
