Fred POV
(WARNING! THIS CHAPTER MAY CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING:
- Violence
- Cursing)
All I could see around myself was just darkness. Not even a single spot of light. But even in those circumstances, I could clearly see my surroundings. I was in an empty place out of nowhere, surrounded by gigantic mountain ranges. I started walking, even though my legs weighed so much. Strangely, the more and more I was going in the direction I was moving to, I started to feel a heat more and more intense. It’s only then that I was finally able to perceive the only source of light around: The magma flowing on certain mountains. What the… What was I first doing here? Seconds ago, I was with my sensei, screaming in pain because he was putting my swordsman mark on my neck. Wait… Did I pass out after or not? I don’t quite remember what exactly happened after the ritual… But even if I don’t quite remember, it’s probably the most logical reason since I remember this location well. It’s the planet of the demons, the same that I go to everytime I dream. A weird sound then made me get out of my daydreams. I was turning my head everywhere until I finally saw where it was coming from. It was actually an explosion, coming from a mountain far away. That didn’t stop me, since I still rushed towards the explosion to investigate. When I arrived at the location, I couldn’t see anything because of the smoke at first, but I then saw a shadow. I quickly stepped back so I could clearly see who that demon was. It’s only after the smoke completely disappeared that I could finally see who was the culprit. It was actually the same Demon King that I talked to back then, but in a smaller version. When he saw me, he simply said a sentence in the ancient demon language:
“WOLGHUR BEGKYUA TUO TKYO PURGHUR!”
When I translated in my head, he was basically saying:
“WELCOME BACK TO THE PUR…”
Wait… What is that word? Purghur… It is… The real name of our planet, the demons? Strange… Normally, even then, there should be a translation, but there isn’t. Purghur is one of the rare words that you can’t translate in the other languages I guess…
I was about to respond to him, but I suddenly woke up. I was now in the garden of my sensei’s house, laying on the ground. He was sitting right next to me, patiently waiting for me to wake up. When he saw me getting up, he got up quickly by jumping. He then rushed to me, so he could hug me. During our hug, he said to me :
“Thank god you are alive! Your heart wasn’t beating anymore!”
I wanted this moment to stay forever. For the first time in my entire life with him, he was hugging me really hard, at a point that I had difficulty breathing.
“Sensei… I understand that you are happy that I am back, but can you please let go of me?” I said. “I’m starting to suffocate because you are so strong…”
“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ok fine, I’m sorry again!”
“Oh no, it’s ok… I actually feel good that you are treating me like I am your son, sensei…”
“I am and will always treat you like you are my son… Since you are probably going to be the only one to have the courage to live with me, hm?”
“Don’t say that sensei! One day, you will find someone for sure!”
“If you say so…”
He then took a short breath before continuing:
“Anyways! We need to continue training, right?”
“YES SENSEI!”
He was smiling at me. After all, I am the student of Sensei Samado, and I am proud of it! I will do everything for him to be proud of me, even if I need to work harder and harder, to the point of vomiting! I will only be satisfied only if I see another smile on his face!
