The two weeks passed by quickly, and after all the kids had gone home, Azazel hopped on his motorbike and raced home to change.
[Kreo's POV]
"Where are you going? Where are you going??" Karla repeated I don't know how many times.
"There's an event tonight, and I have to go but I can't bring you." I said.
"The gala? But isn't that theme for couples only? Are you bringing anyone?" Karla answered.
I nodded in response.
"Is it Mr. Zel??" She shouted.
My eyes widened, before I knelt down to her.
"I'm telling you, please don't tell mum and dad or you'll never see Mr Zel and your other friends in daycare again." I warned her.
Karla understood, and kept quiet until I left the house. She and I knew that if our parents found out, she would be pulled from that daycare.

Meanwhile, Kreo was on the way to pick up Azazel. Despite his excitement, Azazel felt a pang of nervousness about being seen in his outfit.
When Kreo arrived at the entrance of the apartment building, Azazel received a call from him. Taking a deep breath, Azazel stood up and walked out the door, his heart pounding as the blurry doors began to open.
As Kreo's gaze fell upon him, Azazel felt a rush of self-consciousness. "What's with the look?" he asked anxiously. "Do I look that bad?"
But as Kreo continued to stare in stunned silence, Azazel couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence. He was dressed in the dark red velvet dress, the shoulderless sleeves shaped like ribbons, the long hem trailing behind him elegantly with long white silk gloves. Lastly, blue eyeshadow and lip gloss completed the look.
Unable to find his voice, Kreo could only stare in awe. This was far beyond anything he had expected.
Finally finding his voice, Kreo managed to utter, "You look stunning, Azazel."
A blush crept onto Azazel's cheeks as he smiled shyly. "Thank you," he replied, feeling a surge of pride mixed with nervousness. "I'm not Azazel anymore. I'm Aria Everwood."
"Well, good evening, Aria." Kreo said as he bowed.
They exchanged a few more compliments before Kreo offered his arm to Azazel, who hesitantly accepted it. Together, they made their way to the waiting car, where Kreo held the door open for Azazel, treating him like a true gentleman.
During the ride to the gala, Kreo couldn't take his eyes off Azazel, who fidgeted nervously under his gaze. Despite his initial worries, Azazel found himself enjoying the attention, feeling more confident with each passing moment.
"Suddenly so shy," Azazel said.
"How can I not be? Never in a million years I would think you would dress like this." Kreo answered. "And I almost forgot!"
Azazel watched as Kreo took out a cloth with something inside.
"A gift, for my date." Kreo said as he gave it to Azazel.
Azazel took it gently and unfolded it, revealing a pair of long earrings and a beautiful golden hair stick with red flowers on top.
He looked at Kreo with shock and happiness. "No, you did not." Azazel said.
"Yes, I did," Kreo said.
Azazel loved the hair stick and immediately tied a half up and half down hair with a bun. Azazel wore earring when he was younger and Kreo noticed the ear holes and bought a pair for Azazel to wear.
Azazel looked stunning in Kreo's eyes. Azazel moved closer to Kreo before grabbing his face. Kreo's light blue eyes looked into Azazel's dark blue contact lenses. Azazel pushed himself and gave Kreo a kiss.
As their lips met in a soft and tender kiss, Azazel felt a rush of emotions flooding through him. It was a moment of pure connection, where everything else faded away except for the warmth of Kreo's touch and the beating of their hearts in sync.
Kreo was taken aback by the suddenness of the kiss but quickly melted into it, wrapping his arms around Azazel and pulling him closer by his waist. It was as if time had stopped, and they were the only two people in the world, lost in the moment of their shared affection.
When they finally parted, both Azazel and Kreo were breathless, their eyes locked in a silent exchange of understanding and desire. It was a moment they would never forget, a testament to the unexpected beauty of their budding relationship.
As they arrived at the Aurora Palace, Azazel's heart raced with excitement and nervousness.
With Kreo by his side, Azazel was ready to face whatever the night had in store for him.
The gala was a bustling spectacle of glitz and glamour, with heroes and their partners arriving in a flurry of excitement and anticipation. As each couple made their entrance, the cameras rolled, capturing their arrival for the live television broadcast. The air was alive with the chatter of guests, the click of cameras, and the hum of anticipation.
Interviewers swarmed around the arrivals, eager to capture their reactions and gather quotes for the evening's coverage. Flashbulbs popped incessantly as photographers jostled for the perfect shot, adding to the frenetic energy of the scene.
Amidst the chaos, the organizers of the event darted back and forth, ensuring that every detail was perfect for the live broadcast. They coordinated with the film crew, orchestrating the seamless transition from one arrival to the next as the stars of the evening made their way down the red carpet.
"Wow, this venue is stunning," remarked Lilith, the partner of a hero. "I feel so honoured to be here."
"Absolutely," agreed Alex, another partner of a hero. "And the theme is something I've never thought would be true."
"I know, right? Have you guys had the chance to meet all the heroes yet?" asked Sarah, another guest at the gala. "I'm really looking forward to meeting Kreo James. He's the first hero without a unique power, but his reputation precedes him."
"I heard he's quite the heartthrob," chuckled Lilith.
"Well, I happen to think my hero is the most beautiful person I've ever met," teased Alex, causing the group to erupt into laughter.
The classical music suddenly began to fade, and the chaotic chatter among the guests quickly quieted down.
"What's happening?" someone in the crowd asked, their curiosity piqued by the sudden shift in atmosphere.
"He's here!" exclaimed a reporter, hastily adjusting their appearance and preparing to capture the moment.
All the guests streamed out of the palace doors, their attention drawn to the commotion that had caused the interviewers to halt in their tracks. A Lincoln Navigator pulled up at the head of the red carpet, eliciting a flurry of camera flashes.
"You're sure you're ready?" Kreo asked, his voice steady but filled with concern.
Azazel took a deep breath, his nerves evident but his determination unwavering. "Yes," he replied.
Centuries ago, in a world where humans were gifted with supernatural powers, some individuals began to abuse their abilities. To restore balance, Queen Marylin established a system to designate heroes and villains, ensuring harmony was maintained.
In the present time, in the country of Tenawyuv, Kreo James, a hero without any unique powers, crosses paths with Azazel Everlim, a villain who hides from the world, unwilling to embrace his dark fate.
Their unexpected alliance begins with a desperate deal, leading them into a journey filled with unforeseen twists and turns. As their lives become intertwined, they discover a connection that guides them through the shadows and towards a destiny that neither could have anticipated.
