Sarah and Lilith pretended to walk into the restroom too. Azazel was just standing in front of the mirror with his head lowered.
"Aria," Lilith called out. "Are you okay?"
Azazel looked up, surprised. "Hey guys," he smiled. "Running around after eating is a big no." he fixed up his hair.
"Oh my!" Sarah pretended. "Are you good?"
"I'm better now, thanks." Azazel walked out.
Azazel went back to Kreo, acting like nothing happened. There was a party after the activities, everyone danced to their heart's content while Azazel took a walk.
"Aria!" Kreo called out. "There you are!"
"Something wrong?" Azazel asked.
Kreo shook his head. "Nothing, where are you going?"
"Just taking a scroll, I'm tired." Azazel answered.
Kreo understood and walked together as they explored the palace a bit. Suddenly, Kreo had an idea. He grabbed Azazel's hand and they ran out to the palace garden.
As Azazel gazed around at the sea of flowers surrounding them, he couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. The garden was filled with colours, with blossoms of every hue swaying gently in the breeze. It was a breathtaking sight, and Azazel found himself lost in the beauty of it all.
"Why did you bring me here, Kreo?" Azazel asked, turning to look at his partner with curiosity.
Kreo smiled softly, his eyes reflecting the shimmering moonlight. "I wanted to show you something," he said cryptically, standing up and offering Azazel his hand.
Azazel took Kreo's hand and stood up beside him. Together, they began to walk through the garden, the fragrant scent of flowers filling the air around them. Kreo led them to a nearby pond.
"What are we doing here?" Azazel asked, now very confused.
"I remember it somewhere!" He said before pulling Azazel again.
Azazel looked in front to see a gazebo at the edge of the water. Vines filled with flowers spiralled up the pillars to the top.
Azazel was mesmerised by the sight. Kreo smiled at Azazel's reaction.
"Come on! Get on!" Kreo called.
"Hero, I don't think we can be here." Azazel looked around with worry.
Kreo grinned before pulling Azazel down onto the gazebo.
"I know you hate people, so I thought this could free you from your thoughts for a while." Kreo said with a smile.
Azazel settled onto the gazebo next to Kreo, he couldn't help but feel a sense of peace. The beautiful surrounding and the water reflecting the moon created a serene atmosphere that seemed to melt away his worries.
"I don't hate people," Azazel answered softly, but there was a hint of amusement in his voice.
Kreo chuckled, reaching out to brush a stray lock of hair from Azazel's face. "Maybe not hate, but you definitely prefer solitude," he said. "And that's okay. But sometimes, it's nice to step out of your comfort zone, even just for a little while."
Azazel leaned into Kreo's touch, feeling the warmth of his presence beside him. "Thank you for bringing me here," he said, his voice soft with gratitude.
Kreo smiled, his eyes sparkling in the moonlight. "Anything for you, my love," he said, before putting out a hand. "How about a dance?"
Azazel looked at him, surprised by this action. "I don't know how to."
Kreo chuckled again. "Who said you need to know all the steps, make your moves, your own steps, be yourself." Kreo grabbed his hand. "You're with me, I won't judge."
Kreo starts twirling Azazel. Kreo's laughter filled the air, and soon Azazel found himself laughing too, in the joy of the dance.
Together, they moved in harmony, their movements fluid and graceful. Azazel stumbled a few times, but Kreo was always there to catch him, his touch gentle yet firm. With each step, Azazel felt more alive than he had in a long time.
Azazel realised that it didn't matter that he didn't know all the steps, what mattered was that he was dancing with. The person he loved, and in that moment, nothing else seemed to exist except for the two of them, lost in their own little world of music and moonlight.
They sat on the floor as they rested.
"Fun?" Kreo asked. Azazel nodded as his head leaned against the pillar, it had only been minutes since the both of them ran off.
Kreo suddenly got up and folded up his pants before running to the pond.
"Kreo!" Azazel shouted as he grabbed his dress to stand up.
Kreo laughed as he stood there in the pond, looking at Azazel's shocked face.
Kreo grinned mischievously as he splashed water at Azazel, who recoiled in surprise."Come on in, the water's fine!" Kreo called, beckoning Azazel with a playful expression.
Azazel hesitated. "The dress and I will get wet! No way!" He shouted. "Come back up Kreo!"
Kreo finally listened and got back up from the water that wasn't very deep. Azazel sighed in relief as Kreo finally listened to him.
But before Azazel could fully relax, Kreo swept him off his feet, lifting him effortlessly into the air. Azazel's protests filled the air as Kreo held him aloft, his laughter ringing out amidst the serene night.
"Kreo James!" Azazel exclaimed, his voice a mixture of surprise and amusement.
"You're mine," Kreo replied with a playful grin, dipping his toes back into the water.
Azazel's eyes widened in mock indignation. "Put me down! Aren't I heavy?!"
"You're as light as a feather, my dear," Kreo reassured him, his eyes twinkling with affection.
Azazel rolled his eyes before seeing swans swim past them. They dance gracefully which gave Kreo an idea for spinning Azazel around in air. They both laughed before deciding to head back onto the gazebo.
At that moment, Azazel couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected joy Kreo brought into his life as their hearts lighter and their bond stronger than ever before.
"Kids," an old woman's voice called out. "It's time to go back inside, or you'll be late for the goodie bags!"
Azazel glanced across the pond, spotting a gardener waiting patiently. "Alright, thank you!" he called back with a wave.
"Tonight has been great for all of us, and we actually had a secret competition," the host announced, capturing everyone's attention. "Try and guess it!"
Excited answers filled the air as guests speculated wildly.
"Costumes!" a female hero shouted out confidently.
"Yes, correct!" the host confirmed. "We have been secretly judging the matching outfits you all have worn out tonight. And I have to say, it's beautiful! But we only picked 3 to win our rewards!"
The guessing game commenced, with everyone eagerly trying to predict the winners, while the hosts prepared the prizes.
Suddenly, Kreo and Azazel walked in, their laughter echoing through the crowd. All eyes turned to them, and gasps of surprise filled the air. Kreo's pants were rolled up, revealing wet feet, and Azazel's attire was fine but his hair was a bit messy from spinning.
