It's Saturday, Hayashi wakes up at 8 am the next day, he goes down to do his morning routine and Nishida calls him, he leaves the house to meet her near the local coffee shop.

Nishida: "Fiiinally, what took you so long??"

Akuma: "Sorry, I could not find my shoes for whatever reason"

Nishida: *disappointed* "Of course that's the reason, alright, let's go now"

Nishida and Akuma start walking together, Akuma tries to break the silence with some chitchat

Akuma: "So uhh, where are we going?"

Nishida: "None of your business."

Akuma: "I'm helping you out so it's somewhat my busine-"

Nishida looks at Akuma with pure rage

Akuma: "S-Sorry..."

Nishida: *sigh* "You'll see when we get there"

Akuma: "...Sooo, do you know anything about the stalker?"

Nishida: "He's my uncle, he's been stalking me for a while now"

Akuma: "Why would your uncle stalk you?"

Nishida: "Ughhh I don't know, I'm not even that pretty"

Akuma: "Huh? What does that have to do with anything?"

Nishida: "Ya know, a man obsesses over a gorgeous girl, he stalks her, you get the point" (Wait, why am I telling him this?? Did I hit my head or something????)

Akuma: "I don't think that's why he's stalking you. Besides, you're prettier than you thin-"

Nishida hits Akuma in the head, but she doesn't look as mad as usual

Nishida: "What do you mean by that?"

Akuma: "Ouuch, I was trying to be nice"

Nishida: "I don't need your pity"

Akuma: "That's no- Sorry, sorry"

Nishida: "Can you stop apologizing? Gosh, what are you? Fumiko?"

Akuma: "Sorr- Ouch!"

Nishida: "I'm not repeating myself"

Akuma: "Alright, alright. So what's the plan anyways?"

Nishida: "Okay. First of all, we're going to wait for him to show up to my house which is usually around 1 pm. Then, I call the police as soon as he turns off his car, and then we're done"

Akuma: "You make it sound easier than it actually is"

Nishida: "Don't worry, I already contacted the authorities about this, it's gonna be fine"

Akuma: "If it's that easy, why did you force me to come along then?"

Nishida: "...I have my reasons"

Akuma: "Like?"

Nishida: "I'm not gonna tell you"

Akuma: "...Fine" (She's so stubborn, I'd rather just get this over with)

Nishida: "Hey, idiot, we arrived"

Akuma: "So this is where you live" (I knew Tanaka was lying)

Nishida: "It's not much, but it does the job. Come inside"

Akuma: "Is it really okay?"

Nishida: "Yes, you idiot. I'm not leaving you outside for 3 hours, it's cold"

Akuma: "Thanks, that's really nice of you"

Nishida: "I'm not doing this to be nice"

Akuma: "Yeah..." *enters Nishida's house*

Nishida: "The bathroom's over there if you ever need to go"

Akuma: "Your house is... Really nice Nishida"

Nishida: "I know, I take care of it"

Akuma: "Do you live alone?"

Nishida: "Most of the time" *jumps into the couch*

Akuma: "Most of the time?"

Nishida: "Tanaka likes to stay over on the weekends, my parents visit me often too"

Akuma: "That's great to hear" (This makes me slightly miss my parents)

Nishida: "Well, we're gonna be here for a while, I got some DVDs"

Akuma: "Are you a binge-watcher?"

Nishida: "Sometimes, I got some action shows and a horror series"

Akuma: "I'm fine with whatever"

Nishida: "Hmmm, I can't decide though. Here, pick one at random"

Akuma: "Alright, uhhh how about this one?"

Nishida: "Oh, this is 'Monster Eliminator', pretty good pick"

Akuma: "I think I've heard of it before"

Nishida: "Yeah, it's really popular apparently, wanted to see what the hype's all about"

Akuma: "I mean, it could be overrated"

Nishida: "Could be" *inserts DVD into the DVD player* "Only one way to find out"

Nishida brings some popcorn and drinks and they both sit on the couch and start watching 'Monster Eliminator'

Without even noticing it, Nishida and Akuma binge-watched all the DVDs they had of 'Monster Eliminator'

Nishida: "It's over already??"

Akuma: "Really? We binge-watched the entire thing?"

Nishida: "Well, not exactly the entire thing, it's still ongoing so episodes release weekly"

Akuma: "Now we're talking"

Nishida: "You think it was worth the hype?"

Akuma: "I think it deserves more recognition"

Nishida: "Nah, it's pretty good but not as good as it's made out to be"

Akuma: "By the time it finishes, it's gonna be a masterpiece trust me"

Nishida: "That's crazy"

Akuma: "Do I have that bad of a taste towards shows?"

Nishida: "So that's not the first time you hear a reaction like this?"

Akuma: "I've heard way worse"

Nishida: "It's true though, you need to watch better stuff"

Akuma: "I guess you're right, but you can't tell me that fighting scene between Amari and Zain wasn't insane"

Nishida: "Alright, I agree with you on that one, but there's more to a show than the strong points"

Akuma: "That's true, I guess I just like whatever's in front of me"

Nishida: "Is that why you like Fumiko?" *winks*

Akuma: *blushes* "W-What? I-It's not like that! Tanaka's just my friend"

Nishida: "Whatever you say, I think Fumiko kinda liked you, until you messed it up that is"

Akuma: "Yeah, I still feel guilty about it..."

Nishida looks at the troubled Akuma with a look of guilt, since she was the one to remind him of what he did.

Nishida: "Hey, look at the good side idiot. If she's that upset about it then you were doing something right, weren't you?"

Akuma: "I never thought of it that way"

Nishida: "For a 'smart kid', it seems like the only part that's true is the 'kid' part"

Akuma: "Thank you Nishida, you're really-"

Nishida: "Save it"

Akuma: "O-Okay."

Nishida: "...Hey idiot, look over here"

Akuma looks over the window and finds a black car parked in front of Nishida's house, a guy with glasses and a black suit comes out of it

Akuma: "I-Is that your uncle?" (God, he looks fancy)

Nishida: "Yep *sighs* that's the one" "Quick, grab my phone"

Akuma: "Here, you're gonna call the authorities?"

Nishida: "What else am I supposed to do with it you idi- WHAT?? YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!"

Akuma: "What is it?!"

Nishida: "No signal..." *squeezes the phone*

Akuma: "What are we going to do then?"

Nishida jumps away from the window and sprints towards the door, Akuma is surprised but still runs behind her

Akuma: "H-Hey! Wait up!"

Nishida: "I'm sick of this... All of it!"

Nishida kicks the door open and starts running towards her uncle

Nishida: "I'll give it to you, you sick bastard!"

Her uncle notices that Nishida is gunning for him, considering she's too close for him to hop onto his car, he tries to flee the scene as fast as he can. But Nishida is never one to back down and continues to chase him.

Thanks to the practice from the track team, Akuma is able to catch up to Nishida and help her catch the stalker. Nishida slips and falls on her face and Akuma considers going back to help her...

But a flame ignites in Akuma's heart, remembering how he has to fulfill his part of the deal, he's willing to do anything to make it up to Tanaka.

He runs faster than he's ever ran, and is getting closer and closer to the stalker. But since he isn't used to moving this fast, his body falls before his legs can catch up to save him.

However, Akuma is so close to the stalker that he can grab him. So as he falls on his face, he grabs the stalker's leg and that leads to both falling face first onto the concrete road.

Nishida catches up alongside some policemen and they handcuff the stalker, she looks at Akuma who's face is full of bruises and dust and tries to wake him up, she's clearly worried for him

Nishida: "Hayashi, wake up, Hayashi!" *shakes him* "Wake up you stupid idiot, you can't just pass out like that... Akuma?"

Akuma: "H-Huh? Nishida?"'

Nishida: "You're awake! Are you okay? What happened?"

Akuma: "I grabbed him, I actually did it."

Nishida: "Here, let me wipe your face"

Akuma: "Wooow, your handkerchief is so smooooth"

Nishida: "God, you're so weak, can't believe you passed out from that"

Akuma: "...I know, right? I'm not strong or cool like you"

Nishida: "Your compliments are dumb"

Akuma: "They're not compliments, it's the truth... You always do badass things, you assert yourself, you literally chased your uncle and put him in the police station. I'm really glad you're Tanaka's friend"

Nishida: *smiles* "...Thank you, Hayashi"

Akuma: "You can call me Akuma, if you want"

Nishida: "You know, you're not half bad Akuma, it's Emiko for you as well"

Akuma: "Nice to meet you, Emiko"

Nishida: *snickers* "...Dude, you were literally over at my house 20 minutes ago" *laughs*

Akuma: *embarrased* "D-Don't laugh!"

Nishida: "Sorry, you're just sooo corny" "Okay, all done, let me walk with you back home"

Akuma: "You don't have to-"

Nishida: "It's fine, I want to"

Nishida and Akuma walk together, having a nice coversation while they're at it

Nishida: "Dude, I didn't think you could run that fast"

Akuma: "Me too, I guess that's one perk of being in the track team"

Nishida: "Maybe I should join too, no way I'm letting you best me now"

Akuma: "You'd be a great leader to be honest"

Nishida: "Eh, I'm not interested in yelling at a bunch of people, Fumiko's already got that covered"

Akuma: "Yeah, she's pretty darn good at that, I always thought she was never the type"

Nishida: "That's what everyone thinks as well, it's more of an unhealed wound than a personality trait"

Akuma: "Unhealed wound? You mean like trauma?"

Nishida: "I wouldn't call it trauma, something a bit lighter than that"

Akuma: "Is it okay if I ask about it?"

Nishida: "Honestly, I don't know much myself. Fumiko likes to hide her true self, always so wishy-washy, all I know is that it might be a household thing"

Akuma: "That's tough, having a good household is important for growing up, not like I'm one to talk"

Nishida: "What, You have household issues as well?"

Akuma: "Well, kinda. I moved in to my sister's ever since I was accepted into Hirameki"

Nishida: "Good for you, how's your sister like?"

Akuma gets flashbacks to the dream, when he was asked about Rina

Akuma: "She's an amazing sister: She's a great cook, she's caring, 8 years older than me, she's also pretty smart" (That answer was weak, I still have a long way to go...)

Nishida: "So the smart genes run in your family, huh?"

Akuma: "Yeah basically"

Nishida: "You've got an awesome sister"

Akuma: "Her name is Rina, I would introduce you to her but she wouldn't let it go."

Nishida: "Hmm"

Akuma: "What's up?"

Nishida: "Maybe I should confront her"

Akuma: "N-No way! Please don't!"

Nishida: *laughs* "Relax, is the teasing that bad?"

Akuma: "Yes! it's that bad"

Nishida: *laughs* "I don't even know where you live"

Akuma: "You're about to"

Nishida: "Jokes aside, Rina sounds fun to hang around"

Akuma: *smiles* "She is"

Meanwhile, Tanaka was looking through the window at that time, waiting for a delivery for one of her favorite manga books to arrive. As she looks carefully, she sees both Nishida and Akuma smile and laugh while walking together.

Fumiko is overwhelmed by a sense of sadness and heartbreak, seeing her best friend having fun and hanging out with the guy who yelled at her, she feels betrayed. And all of a sudden, without even realizing it, tears are falling rapidly from her cheeks.

Akuma: "Sooo, how do you figure I approach Tanaka?"

Nishida: "Hmmm, I guess we could wait until the weekend's over and talk to her in school"

Akuma: "You think? Would she even show up?"

Nishida: "Of course she would, Fumiko would rather die than skip school"

Akuma: "I never thought someone could love school that much"

Nishida: "It's not really about loving school, she just likes studying, she feels bored when she's at home"

Akuma: "I get that, you don't really get a chance to be bored when you're at school"

Nishida: "That's for nerrrds like you two, I get bored all the time, Ms. Asami's yapping in history class is the WORST"

Akuma: "You have a point, but it depends on the person"

Nishida: "You mean introvert vs extrovert type thing?"

Akuma: "Not really, but sure"

Nishida: "That's a good enough answer for me"

Akuma: "What about joining a club? Maybe that'll help with your boredom"

Nishida: "No, thanks. I'd rather watch TV all day"

Akuma: "You really love that stuff, don't you?"

Nishida: "Of course I do, most people are into mangas but I'm into this"

They both finally arrive at Akuma's house

Akuma: "Oh, we arrived"

Nishida: "This is your house?"

Akuma: "Mhm."

Nishida: "Pretty basic"

Akuma: "Yeah, simplicity is king"

Nishida: "I agree..."

Akuma: "Thanks for walking with me"

Nishida: "No problem..."

Nishida initiates a fist pump but she's obviously kind of embarrased as her head is slightly lowered, struggling to make eye contact

Akuma gladly accepts the offer and fist pumps her back, and Nishida starts walking away slowly

Nishida: "See you" *waves*

Akuma: *waves back*

Nishida: (I can't believe I actually befriended a boy... It's not as bad as I thought)
