The next day, the palace and the capital city were filled with a profound atmosphere of grief. People had learned about what had happened very late, after the arrival of the funerals following the king's entourage. Rumors about the stranger encountered by the king in the forest had spread from ear to ear, traveling from city to city. In a short time, Sakha had become known throughout the entire country, even though his name or face was not known. He had become one of the country's greatest subjects of curiosity. Stories about someone who single-handedly incapacitated half of the royal guards quickly spread across the country, exaggerated and amplified many times over. In an open-air theater organized in a remote corner of any city in the country, you could watch a play about this stranger. Some saw this stranger as a harbinger of evil events, while others believed he was destined for a noble cause. Some enthusiastically told those around them that the stranger was actually a secret organization leader, while others argued that the King had sent him on a secret mission many years ago. It appeared that there had been a disagreement during the mission, and the stranger had returned to seek revenge.
There were also a considerable number of people who argued that Sakha was not human. Due to the increased hunting activities and continuous deforestation, the Spirit of the Forest had awakened and was seeking revenge. In addition to all this, a group of dreamers claimed that Sakha came from Unhroba. However, all these groups had a common denominator. This stranger was a gigantic being, at least 3 meters tall, with large teeth and horns.
As the country was stirred by these rumors and legends intertwining, the capital, where all these rumors originated, had become a slightly more complicated place. Today, a funeral ceremony was going to be held, and preparations were underway. There was an atmosphere of sorrow throughout the city, but people's curiosity for gossip had found a place amidst the prevailing melancholy and gloom. Those who went to offer condolences to the funeral hosts tried to gather information from the people around without revealing anything themselves. Of course, some individuals succumbed to their curiosity more quickly and directly asked the hosts about the incident.
By noon, the preparations for the funeral were completed, and the coffins were lined up side by side. The Royal Committee had arrived at the funeral site, and the ceremony had begun. Flarka comforted the weeping mothers, fathers, spouses, and sons one by one before taking his place. Then, accompanied by laments, the bodies were gradually placed in the cemetery. After all the funerals were individually buried, Flarka left a rose on each grave. He then gave each of the deceased soldiers' families a large sack full of gold and promised to personally address each of their problems. Unable to stand in front of tearful mothers any longer, Flarka proceeded without saying much, and the committee followed him.
