Proposal.

Having left the central hospital, Brandon opened the car door for Julieta and told her to get in. Julieta was a little scared, but she got in anyway.

 The girl's head was spinning and alarms immediately went off in her mind... ¿what does the man want from me? It was the main source of all the questions and then he continued saying: I will pay for everything, I will make sure your father is taken care of, you just have to do one thing for me.

Such kindness could not be free and she knew that. She only hoped that it was not some obscene proposal regarding her because otherwise she would feel humiliated as a woman. So, composing herself in her seat, a hint of desperation crept into her voice; And looking him straight in the eyes she said: Excuse me for intruding Mr. Brandon, but I am not that kind of woman, so he simply told her: Don't be in a hurry, it's not that, I need you to marry my son.

The sudden proposal hit her like a bucket of cold water and she was in shock... ¿What kind of proposal was this? ¿How could he tell a stranger to marry his son? So she immediately refused and told him: I can't marry your son Mr. Brandon, I don't even know him, it's very likely that we won't even get along.

Then Brandon told her: I understand your situation and I know that it is not a simple and easy proposal to accept, but see it more like a job…

 I will pay you to marry my son; He lives surrounded by scandals and it is time to start clearing his name and with a good woman like you at his side, he will surely achieve it, but she simply commented: even if this is a kind of work, ¿don't you think that your son will feel cheated and belittled for not being able to choose his wife? I don't want to be someone who breaks his paradigms that he has about the ideal woman for his life.

I'm trying to put myself in his son's shoes to answer him objectively, so Brandon let out a sigh and said: Julieta, don't look at it as a real marriage because it's a simple excuse to clear his name, you don't even have to love each other or fall in love, you just have to appear by his side when he makes some public appearances in private, if you want you can live very apart from him, it's just a job.

It's simple and easy to do because I'm not asking you to take care of him as a woman, just to be his cover before the public... you will earn very well, a six-figure salary and for that you will be able to take care of your father and your brother, think about it well, use logic and reason, don't get carried away by your pride, look beyond the obvious.
