Chapter 9.
Fear.
After that encounter motivated in some way by wanting to hunt, stalk prey, play with it a little and then devour it, it was as if his predatory instinct was begging him to go out once more to play a little, to have fun with that boy and maybe that was more than enough to want to return to this place.
He wanted to enter through the window and steal him from that place, take him to some island and not let anyone see him again, because he had practically bewitched or hypnotized him from the moment their eyes met that morning, and what Dominic wanted to have, he got, because for that he had been in the organization for many years and he had a high enough position to ask the boy as a reward for his dedication, a reward for his work.
That was what Dominic wanted, but he didn't want any reward, he even wanted that boy at any cost...
On the other hand, Ritchie had seen that the food was simply fried rice with sweet and sour ribs, but surely that food was altered so putting on some boots he took some money grabbed the keys and went to buy exactly the same ribs and the ingredients to prepare them, while his grandfather was still asleep.
After half an hour in a small market he had bought all the ingredients, just to prepare it on his own, although what he had not noticed was that Dominic had seen him enter that market and was following him closely watching how he carefully chose each ingredient, without knowing that the people around him were also watching him carefully choose each thing.
So silently and without the boy noticing, Dominic followed him until the boy entered his house... once there, he knew that nothing would change his mind, not even a woman.
The boy was not only boyfriend material, but even husband and even lover: he was perfection made into a person that everyone could notice except him.
After those purchases, Ritchie began to prepare everything quickly turning on the heat extractor so that his grandfather would not notice that he was cooking, and having not only prepared everything just as he had come, the boy threw down the toilet the food that the vile murderer had brought, he would not give him the satisfaction of seeing him die, much less by poisoning, not today, not when they are about to go on a trip.
This time the killer had scored an own goal because he would not allow anyone to disturb his trip.
After having cleaned up everything he had dirtied, the door rang again, and taking a frying pan in his hands the boy worked up his courage keeping in mind the words that he would smash it over his head, so that he would stop bothering him, but when he opened it, the person there was Santiago with his suitcases, so with his face full of shame and the frying pan in his hand he simply opened the door completely and told him to come in…
