Chapter 10.

Guest at home.

Santiago was a little surprised to be greeted by the young man with a frying pan in his hand, he looked like he was ready to hit the person who had knocked on the door with that pan; unfortunately the shocked face was a complete disappointment for the boy when he realized that it was not the person he was perhaps expecting to knock on, and leaving his suitcases in the living room, the boy guided him to one of the empty rooms.

There were three rooms in total: his grandmother's, his own and one where practically no one slept, it was a little dusty, it was completely evident that it was not the place where you could walk around the most in the house, however, the bed was comfortable, and apologizing Ritchie told him that with the rush that everything had been he had not had time to tidy up the room, but Santiago said that there was nothing to worry about, that he would take care of cleaning it, that they had already done a lot by letting him stay in the house for the investigations.

The boy smiled and told him that he was grateful that he understood the situation and the difficulties of being a man and having to take care of these kinds of duties that are normally occupied by women… Santiago laughed and asked him where the cleaning supplies were…

The young man simply handed them over and went to wake up Grandpa Yurik, who as soon as he opened his eyes said to him: son, heat up the food they brought us, don’t waste time cooking, we’re going to eat before Officer Santiago arrives.

To which Ritchie calmly commented: grandpa, the officer is already home, he arrived a few moments ago and is settling into the empty room, so the surprised grandfather said to him: ¿and you gave him that crappy room? ¿Don’t you know that room has leaks? 

Come on, move, we have to tell the officer to stay in your bedroom… ¿How can you give him that room where it seems that ghosts come out at night?

You are a real idiot son, you don't look like my grandson, the grandfather rushed to the room and found Santiago finishing picking up the dust with the broom and the shovel, so the grandfather commented: officer, long time no word from you, it's been almost a year since I saw you.

Sarcasm could be felt in the grandfather's words, to which the officer said: indeed my don, your face has not appeared before me for many years...

Both men laughed, the grace with which their words amused the greeting was noticeable, so the grandfather said: leave that thing alone boy, excuse me for my grandson giving you this room, but this is not the room where you are going to stay, you are going to stay in his room, this is not even habitable... here it seems that the devil is going to appear to you in his panties and he is not going to forgive you while you sleep...

Santiago followed grandfather Yurik to his grandson's room where evidently the room was large and pretty, It was the average neat college room: a bed big enough and wide enough for two people to sleep there or even a couple.

Santiago asked him if it was okay to stay here and the grandfather told him: Sure, you're only going to spend two nights with the boy here, it's not like either of you would be hot for black beans, the joke clearly showed the way Grandpa Yurik had raised his grandson and where he practically made it clear that his grandson liked women 100%, so spending a night or two with a man was going to be completely indifferent to him.
