As a kid I always adored the Hunters. They're lighters who actually stand up to the face of evil without fear and as a kid I admired them so much. So when my lighter abilities kicked in at twelve years old, I told my parents that I wanted to become a hunter.

Ofcourse they didn't take me seriously and they warned me to never bring up the subject again. My father was a human and my mother was a lighter and they weren't fighters. So the idea that their only child wanted to be a hunter obviously didn't sound very good to hear. But I started saving up from my after school job to enroll myself into the Hunter Force Academy and I also started learning how to use my lighter energy and techniques. HAVING LIGHTNING POWERS ARE SO COOL!!!!!!!!!! 

Eventually my parents found out what I was doing something that took my mind off school because my grades started to slip. My parents told me to not ever become a Hunter and that it's because Hunters don't live a long life. After I saw the tears in my mother's eyes I decided to give up on becoming a hunter. 

BUT THEN MY DAD WAS EATEN BY A SHADOW MONSTER THAT HAD ATTACKED THE HIGHWAY A WEEK LATER. 

The Shadow monster that did it was eventually killed by the Hunters who came afterwards but after that even my mother couldn't stop me from joining the Hunter Force Academy. Infact she encouraged it. I had seen first hand what kind of monsters the Hunters have to fight everyday and that pain I felt watching my father being eaten by a Shadow Monster I didn't want anyone else to feel that pain and it fueled my desire to become a hunter.

So when I graduated from high-school at 18, I joined the Hunter Force Academy. My performance as a student was so shocking and amazing that i was literally nicknamed JASON THUNDERBOLT because of my electricity lighter technique. But then I was the second best student after Joshua Egoshin ofcourse whom I later found out that he was from the Egoshin Clan and is one of the Heirs. So Joshua being number one was actually expected. With time, Joshua and I became best friends. UGH THAT DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT!

It was after we graduated from the Hunter Force Academy and entered the Hunter Force Association that the reality of the world we lived in hit us in the face without mercy. I graduated and joined the HFA when I was 20. Now I'm 26 and have risen to the rank of a LEVEL 1 Hunter. But within my six years as a Hunter, only seven of my friends are still alive out of the fourteen friends I had made when I first enrolled in the school when I was 18. Guess my parents were right when they said hunters don't live long.

And one thing has been made clear in the last six years as a Hunter. SHADOWS ARE NOT MEANT TO EXIST. Shadows are a blight to all humans and lighters and their only purpose is to cause tragedy.

I don't think I'll be over exaggerating if I say that Shadows are what's wrong with the world. And not just me, alot of people feel the same way. SHADOWS ARE NOT MEANT TO EXIST AND SHOULD BE ERADICATED FROM THIS WORLD. That is our duty and roles as Hunters and I will not stop until every shadow has been wiped out from existence...........

Every since the Kato Hamura incident in July, Jason had been put in charge of investigating the Kaimi Daja and why they had stopped the mass shadowfication after they had seen Kato Hamura. They had found out Kato's family lineage to the shadows so that area had been cleared. Now they were investigating the members of the Kaimi Daja because it is very unusual for Shadows, Lighters and Humans to work together. 

Sanito Dyason (A friend of Jason and also a lighter and hunter) have been doing the investigation of the Kaimi Daja, had been posing as a member of the Kaimi Daja and at the same time slipping information about that to Jason who in turn documented everything.

 It was now August 2021 and it was time to make a report on the investigation to the HFA head (Gabriel Esthath) and the board of directors of the Hunter Force Association. 

Jason: (adjusts his tie to look presentable and knocks at the door) 

Gabriel: (from inside) Come In 

Jason: (Opens the door and walks in) Excuse me sir.

Gabriel Esthath is a 50 year old man who has been the Head of the Hunter Force Association for about 10 years and he is a human. Lighters are not allowed to hold the position of the Head of the HFA or be part of the board of directors and this is because the humans didn't want the situation where they felt that their only role is to be protected and to also instill confidence and hope in the mind of other humans that they are other helping in the conflict against Shadows.

Gabriel: Ahhhh Jason. I assume you're here with your report on the Kaimi Daja?

Jason: Yes sir. (shows him the file in his hand) 

Gabriel: Good because i would like you to tell us the details of this investigation and what you learnt about the Kaimi Daja. 

Jason: Yes sir. 

Jason looked at the seven members of the board of directors and took a deep breath before he began his explanation. 

Jason: (clears hus throat) From the recent investigation myself and Hunter Sanito have carried out in the last one month, we have discovered that the group called the Kaimi Daja are a terrorist group consisting of shadows, lighters and humans. 

There was an uproar when Jason said this because the board where suprised that shadows and lighters were cooperating together with humans and it caused them to talk about it.

"Huh?? How is that possible??!!"

"Are you sure that report is accurate??!!!" 

"There's just no way that's possible!!" 

"Shadows, Lighters and Humans are cooperating together??" 

"Is that even true??" 

These are the questions that the board of directors were asking because they were suprised and this was the first time they are hearing of this. Some of them began to doubt Jason's report.

Gabriel: (standing up to maintain the calmness) Gentlemen I assure you that the report that Jason has brought to us is true and legit because we have a hunter doing an undercover mission while inside the Kaimi Daja group.

Jason: (to himself) Great. The last thing I need is for these guys to call me a liar. 

Gabriel: And another reason I believe this report is that Jason has been working with us for six years and I trust him more than any other lighter that I know. (to Jason) Please continue. (takes his sit and all eyes turn on Jason)

Jason: (sighs) Yes sir. According to our inside infiltrator, some of the members are criminals who we have in our database but have failed to catch. The humans help in gathering funds for them and dont participate in their big scale activities. Sanito our man on the inside has been able to get some names of the members of the Kaimi Daja including their leader.

Gabriel: Proceed.........

Jason: The name's that we've been able to get are as follows:

1. Desmond Gravy (A lighter we know nothing about yet)

2. Lorra Hawks (Killed a certain amount of people in a small town but we haven't been able to catch her)

3. Lokk Ensho (A lighter we know nothing about yet)

4. Veto Sanks (A criminal lighter that we have in our database)

5. Giles (A criminal shadow who specialises in robbing businesses) 

6. Zero (The leader of the Kaimi Daja and is apparently a human. His real name is not known) 

7. Jokita Rohein (A Shadow we know nothing about yet)

Jason: These are all the members that we know off for now. Sanito is still inside the Kaimi Daja gathering Intel.

Gabriel: You've done well Jason. Also instruct Sanito to report back here immediately. Staying too long in enemy Territory is dangerous. 

Jason: Yes sir. (Hands over the file to Gabriel)

The board of directors and Gabriel talked about how they would handle the issue of the Kaimi Daja and wondered how a human was able to get the Kaimi Daja to come together despite them been from different races currently in conflict. They discussed that when Sanito returns they would use the remaining information he brings to take the Kaimi Daja down before they make their next move. 

They also talked about the new students who just recently enrolled into the Hunter Force Academy and how they all passed the entrance exams. After the meeting was over, Gabriel called Jason because he wanted to have a word with him.

Gabriel: I want you to join the Hunters who will teaching the new students for the Academy

Jason: (cartoonish face) Huh???? Why me sir??????

Gabriel: (lights his cigarette) Because you're one of the strongest Hunters we have right now and I feel we should have you pass your skills and knowledge to these new leaves. Plus a lot of teachers have been killed during the mass shadowfication event and were short on staff.

Jason: (cartoonish face) Right. Right. I'll do it 

Gabriel: Marlo and Egoshin have already agreed to teach them too. Lisa was already a teacher there so it'll make things easy when your friends are there right?

Jason: I guess so sir.

Gabriel: You're having dark circles around your eyes. Aren't you sleeping well?

Jason: I'm fine sir. As for the dark circles I've had them for a while because I can't sleep well ever since I saw my dad get eaten right infront of me.

Gabriel: (blows smoke out of his mouth) I see. Don't push yourself too much. 

Jason: Yes sir. I'll be going sir (Walks away)

Gabriel: Okay sir. Goodluck Jason.

Jason: (to himself) Good luck he says. Now I have to "pass on my knowledge and skills" to a bunch of brats. Man this isn't going to be a lot of fun at all. 

As soon as Jason leaves Gabriel's office, he picked up his phone and texted Sanito on his phone with the coded message " Echo Sierra Yankee Lima Oscar Uniform Romeo November Delta Echo Lima Echo Alpha Victor Echo Charlie Oscar Tango Oscar November" which stood for "The boss says you should leave now" 

Elsewhere, Sanito, a tall man with pink colored hair received the message and immediately deleted it and prepares to leave but just then someone taps from behind and with a sinister voice asks "Where are you going????"
