William takes advantage of the moment to quickly run to attack Saibur with a lunge! 

Saibur does the unexpected, and holds William's sword in his hands, causing the blade to cut his palm. 

His blood runs down the blade and accumulates, until it forms a drop and drips onto the floor. 

William tries to take the sword out of the man's hand, but he holds it tightly and doesn't let it go. Even though he is cutting his skin violently, Saibur doesn't let go; after all, this pain is nothing compared to death. 

Yanma tries to catch Saibur by surprise, but he drops his sword and jumps back. 

William then realizes that he won't be able to do anything against the enemy if he doesn't use Dragon Magic. 

At the same time, when this battle was happening, at the north gate, Cris got off his horse and walked slowly towards Light. 

The boy stood still in the same place, but he wasn't paralyzed with fear like before; this time, he was determined to face the main enemy. 

Sweat drips from Light's forehead, and his breathing becomes controlled. His eyes are closed, calling Cris to a deadly challenge, while the man just walks with a relatively excited expression.  

Suddenly, Cris disappears from Light's sight, and appears in front of him, with his sword raised, ready to attack! 

Cris's speed surprises Light, but he manages to react in time to create an earth barrier and throw himself backwards! 

The barrier leaves the stones on the ground bent, and it forms as if it were a gate rising from the ground. 

Cris destroys the earthen wall as if it were nothing. The noise resembles rocks being broken by an explosion. 

The earth barrier was not fragile for a person other than a mage; it was a barrier strong enough to withstand storms and earthquakes, but even so, Cris was able to break it without much effort. 

Light immediately throws a tree seed in front of him, and when Cris tries to move forward, a tree approximately 2 meters long (6,5ft). 

Cris doesn't worry and goes ahead, but roots connected to the tree come out to grab him. 

It cuts through all the roots at high speed as it heads towards the tree. His expression has already changed; now it seems like he is more serious. 

Cris reaches the trunk and cuts it without much difficulty. When the trunk falls, he sees that Light had moved away as he advanced. 

Light knew that to use Forest Magic effectively, he would have to break the surrounding ground, and that was what he was planning to do.

Cris goes towards the boy, but when he is about to reach him again, two trees grow in the blink of an eye on Light's left and right sides. 

This time, the trees are bigger, around 5 meters tall (16,4ft), and they are robust. Their roots break the ground around them and make them move like uncontrolled tentacles. 

The canopy of the two trees is full and rounded, even creating a shadow beneath Light. 

The tree vines stretch towards Cris and trap both of his arms, leaving him unable to move. 

Light takes advantage of this short moment to conjure a stone thorn and launch it at the man! 

Cris tries to free himself from the vines and succeeds, but there is no time for the thorn to hit his stomach! 

"AARGH!" The thorn doesn't pierce his body, but it makes an impact strong enough for him to groan in pain and spit out saliva. 

Cris takes a moment to recover, and then disappears from Light's eyes with his impressive skill! 

Light assumes he will make a frontal attack, so he stands ready by making a stone wall again. 

However, Cris appears in front of Light at the moment the barrier is being erected, and at that moment, Cris only uses his fists. 

Throwing a strong punch at the barrier, his fist breaks the earth and hits Light, who defends himself with his arms at the last moment! 

He is thrown backwards on impact. 

He gets on his knees; his forearms hurt, and Light shakes them to try and ease the pain while expressing discomfort. 

Light looks up, and there is his enemy, just watching him with a look of disgust in front of him. The boy instantly widens his eyes and tries to get up, but Cris wouldn't let this go without consequences. 

When Light tries to get up, Cris punches him in the stomach from below, making him lose the air at the same moment! 

The boy bends down again, getting on his knees, and trying to breathe, but is momentarily unsuccessful. 

Light then looks up and observes Cris; he realizes in a short moment that the distance between him and his enemy needs to be far enough for Light to feel safe. 

As the kid thinks, Cris draws his sword, but Light was prepared, and was planting two tree seeds, which grow almost instantly. 

Cris tries to attack Light, but the roots controlled by the boy throw him back, dodging the blow. 

With one hand, Light controls the trees with his wand. The roots and vines try to attack Cris anyway; this is not effective for an experienced swordsman like Cris, who just dodges and cuts any attack. 

However, on the other hand, Light was preparing four tree seeds that would be planted.

Cris manages to cut down the two trees and move forward to kill Light!
