THE SUN - War Of Gods Begins

Whirlpool of Information

Whirlpool of Information

Sep 15, 2024

He stared at the unfolding scene, he took a moment to steady his tumultuous emotions.

Before him lay a vast, shimmering curtain of light stretching as far as the mountains, seemingly boundless in its expanse. The curtain pulsed and shimmered, its ethereal glow shifting in unpredictable patterns.

Yet, to Aurelion, this dazzling display was not merely a curtain of light. It was a veil of raw, disorganized information. Behind this curtain, reality had dissolved into fundamental blocks of data, a chaotic amalgamation of the once-living and non-living. All that had been engulfed by the curtain had lost its coherence and was being assimilated into a swirling vortex of information at the center.

Aurelion observed the tumultuous whirlpool forming, where a woman writhed in torment at its core, her body mutating uncontrollably as if on the verge of losing all sense of self.

Without hesitation, Aurelion appeared before the curtain and extended his hand to touch it. But something halted him.

A weak influence sought to establish a connection through the chaos of information swirling around the woman. Aurelion glanced upward to the night sky and saw a brown planet blazing like a star.

A haunting melody began to resonate beside him as he gazed at the fiery orb. The sound, more a terrifying vibration than a melody, seemed to reverberate throughout the astral plane. It was an alien sound, transcending the very concept of music—an abyssal wail that evoked a bone-chilling dread while simultaneously compelling one to listen.

The sound was so profoundly disturbing that it defied description, leaving an indelible impression on Aurelion. It was a harbinger of madness, particularly for beings of lesser resilience.

‘Inextinguishable Ravings,’ Aurelion recalled, identifying the outer god that was reaching through the barrier. It was astonishing that the primordial creatures of VOID Could connect with Earth through mere knowledge and information, even if it could not exert any power through this link.

Aurelion’s demeanor grew serious as he stared at the brown planet, its haunting sound echoing in his ears. His golden irises began to glow, and soon his entire eyes were alight with divine radiance. A golden halo formed beneath him, and his divine aura intensified.

Turning his gaze to the curtain, Aurelion spoke in a voice as cold and unyielding as the void itself. “Freeze.”

At his command, the shimmering curtain halted its expansion. The chaotic information within became static, and the woman’s agonized cries fell silent. The entire world outside the curtain froze—swaying petals, flying birds, and drifting clouds all ceased their motion.

Aurelion wielded his authority of “order” to impose a stasis upon reality itself. The woman’s torment and her loss of control were halted in an instant.

Turning his attention back to the brown planet, Aurelion raised his hand, bringing his middle and index fingers together, and snapped.

The sound of the snap reverberated across the world as the dawn broke with blinding intensity. The sun surged up from the horizon at an astonishing speed, rapidly filling the sky with its blazing golden light. The brown planet, once so prominent, was swallowed by the sun’s brilliance and vanished from view.

The distorted sound from the astral realm grew fainter, its rage silenced as the connection to the Void was severed. Aurelion’s eyes dimmed, returning to their normal hue, and the divine halo around him faded. The immense golden sun disappeared, leaving the night sky once more in its dark embrace.

Yet, the sky was now an expanse of pure darkness, devoid of stars or the moon—a veil of obscurity shrouded the heavens, cutting off any further interference from the astral plane.

The other gods, ever vigilant, took immediate action in response to Aurelion's actions.

Though it seemed as though an eternity had passed, only a few seconds had actually elapsed.

Aurelion mused with a sense of resignation, 'I hadn't anticipated "them" extending their influence on Earth so swiftly. It appears the Veil is thinning more quickly then we thought.

As he advanced toward the frozen curtain, Aurelion's thoughts drifted to the conversation between him and the old sun god, about the creatures of void. How even he used to speak about them in custion and tensed. He quickly dismissed it, it was too dangerous to even think about them in such a creatical moment, focusing instead on the curtain and the surrounding reality.

Rather than dismantling the law he had imposed with his authority of order, Aurelion approached the curtain with determination.

He raised his hands, and a book materialized in his grasp. Stepping through the curtain, now a vortex of chaotic information, Aurelion opened the book with blank pages that began flipping automatically in the blurred, unreal environment.

With a snap of his fingers, the frozen chaotic information began to move, now drawn towards the book rather than the woman at the center. The book seemed to act as a magnet, pulling in the swirling data. As the information was absorbed, the empty pages filled with distorted letters and paragraphs.

Gradually, the surroundings returned to their previous state. The curtain vanished, and everything within it was restored to its original form.

Aurelion stood on the lush green grass before a towering grey structure, its stained windows depicting a purple eye amidst countless radiant stars. This was the residence of the Angel of Wisdom, which had also been restored to its former state.

Aurelion did not enter immediately. Instead, he continued to read the book he held. His expression grew solemn as he absorbed the content.

"Inextinguishable Ravings... the blatherer from the infinite void... the originator of all sounds... the one who plays the symphonies, heralding the end of all things..."

The distorted words prompted Aurelion to take a deep breath, grappling with his complex emotions. 'Symphony of end,' he thought, feeling a sense of helplessness. Despite his divine status, he knew he stood little chance against void and its spawns —escape might be his only hope.

Turning the pages, he encountered detailed information about the Inextinguishable Ravings, including its connection to Saturn and ritualistic aspects.

"This knowledge is disturbingly precise," Aurelion analyzed. "It's no wonder the 'Void' could establish a connection with reality. The source of this knowledge must be..."

His eyes widened as a realization struck him. 'Aleric and Seekers of origin' he thought, recalling the accident.

Determined, Aurelion resolved to pay Aleric, The Angel of innovation Alchemy a visit. His gaze hardened with cold resolve as he scanned the final pages, halting at a particularly revealing section.

"Always the worst case sinario i expect." Aurelion mused.

He continued to watch everything unfold, his thoughts drifted back to past observations of the path to divinity. “This information,” he mused, reflecting on the arduous process of becoming a god. Despite his extensive knowledge of conditions and difficulty to reach divinity of various authorities, the ascent to godhood in the realm of knowledge remained one of the most daunting. Analyzing the laws of existence posed significant risks, and the creation of new ones was fraught with peril.

Even if a new law were relatively inconsequential, its successful integration into the world was critical. A misstep could lead to catastrophic backlash, potentially collapsing the entire ritual and destroying the archangel involved.

Aurelion’s thoughts turned to his angel, the Angel of knowledge. He harbored a faint hope that she might have the potential to ascend to godhood. He was eager to see if she could become the Goddess of Knowledge, given the chance.

Yet, Aurelion remained uncertain about the current status of the Divine Eyes, the manifestation of the Authority of Knowledge. In truth, many concepts and powers shape the path to godhood, each an essential step on the long road to divinity.

There are two pivotal steps in ascending from archangel to god. The first is performing the ritual to impose one’s will upon the world. In doing so, the world itself retaliates by manifesting its Authority—a counterforce, often taking form in unpredictable ways. The second step is far more perilous: executing a ritual to dominate the manifested divinity, seizing control over the divine power.

Once this divinity is manifested, it does not simply fade back into the fabric of the world. Instead, it remains, solid and tangible, awaiting the hand of a new master, one powerful enough to tame it.

Aurelion himself had once reaped out the golden crystal from old sun gods head, the very manifestation of the Authority of the Sun. It pulsed with radiant energy, the essence of the celestial force he had bent to his will, a symbol of his ascendancy.

For Thiara, however, the path was far more treacherous. The Divine Eyes of sage, had already manifested long ago, during the age of the Old Sun God. They were born from someone’s failed attempt to ascend as the God of Knowledge. The ritual had faltered, and the Divine Eyes, left untamed, had been lost in time, becoming a remnant of forgotten ambition.

Even as god, Aurelion knew there was little he could do to directly aid her in reclaiming the Divine Eyes. However, seeing her potential, he had decided to help her Though the most dangerous aspects of becoming an Archangel, Aurelion could guide her toward safer, less treacherous laws of the world, that would still lead her to archangelhood without demanding the price of her soul.

Closing the book, Aurelion turned his gaze toward the gray tower. A fleeting image of a black-haired woman, unwavering in her quest for knowledge, crossed his mind. His lips curved into a fleeting smile before the weight of her condition darkened his expression. With a heavy heart, he looked up at the top of the tower, and his form began to fade.
