Now, Rahul had regained control and both he and Kanishka began counter-attacking each other. Their speed was so fast that the crowd couldn't even see their movements.
Kanishka angrily exclaimed, "Rahul, have you only learned these childish arts?"
Rahul responded calmly, "I don’t need any special martial move to defeat you. Let’s end this game."
With that, both of their speeds increased, and in the blink of an eye, they both collapsed to the ground simultaneously. After about half an hour, Rahul executed the Lotus Strike and sealed Kanishka's vital point. He kicked Kanishka out of the arena, securing his victory.
All the elders congratulated Ramacharya. As the winner, Rahul received a golden pill that would allow any martial artist to easily advance from the advanced level to the expert level. With the end of the competition, the festival concluded as well. Rahul was leaving with Vibha and Vishal when Kanishka suddenly attacked from behind with a sword. Rahul managed to save himself, but Kanishka's second attack was aimed at Vibha. To protect her, Rahul stepped in the way, resulting in his right arm being injured. Seeing Rahul bleed, Vibha became enraged.
In her anger and distress, Vibha fired her personal gun, injuring Kanishka, who collapsed to the ground.
Meanwhile, Elder Vaidya Sung administered healing pills to both Kanishka and Rahul and treated their wounds. Kanishka’s crime was a matter of shame for the entire Naag clan, as weapons were strictly prohibited in martial arts competitions. Some people also blamed Vibha for using a weapon. The next day, a meeting was called to address the actions of both parties.
The Justice Society, independent of the three leaders, oversaw the judgment. Comprised of commanders and leaders from both factions, the society issued punishments without any room for bribery or corruption. During the meeting, Kanishka was expelled from the Naag clan for violating the martial family’s rules and attacking Rahul. His punishment was to serve as a soldier in the martial arts army for ten years. Conversely, Vibha, whose weapon was from the outside world, could have been expelled or even executed according to the laws. However, considering the circumstances, both Kanishka and Vibha were sentenced to serve as Sarv Sainik in the TRIDENT force for five years. Vibha's weapon would be kept in the Rudra Library.
Despite this ruling, no one was satisfied. The Naag clan was especially devastated, as their successor, Kanishka, could no longer become their leader. This realization tormented Kanishka, and he began plotting to kill Rahul and Vibha.
A month later, the day came for all three—Rahul, Vibha, and Kanishka—to begin their service in the Trident army. When Vibha and Rahul prepared to leave, Vishal insisted on joining them. Reluctantly, they agreed to take him along, unaware that Kanishka was planning something deadly.
The three traveled by horse carriage, heading toward the Trident Force base in Rudrapuram, 100 kilometers away. By nightfall, they reached Mountain Hobby, with 40 kilometers still to go. They set up camp there and rested.
After midnight, the peaceful atmosphere was shattered by a sudden attack. Rahul rushed out to find 50 masked martial artists standing before him, swords drawn. From behind, Kanishka's voice rang out.
"Rahul, today marks the end of you and the Trishul tribe. Since childhood, I've dreamt of ruling all of Rudrapuram!"
Kanishka attacked swiftly, but Rahul dodged with his ghost step technique. Seizing an opportunity, Rahul landed a powerful punch, sending Kanishka flying and leaving his sword behind in Rahul’s hand.
Rahul smiled. "Nice sword, but it seems it's thirsty for your blood."
Rahul counter-attacked, and within ten minutes, he had injured half of Kanishka’s men, causing the rest to flee in fear. Rahul then charged at Kanishka, severing one of his hands. Just as he was about to strike again, Vishal’s scream echoed through the air.
Rahul turned in alarm, only to be attacked by two of Kanishka's men, leaving him injured. He hurried inside and saw an elder martial artist from the Naag tribe holding Vibha and Vishal at knifepoint. Vibha had a small scratch on her neck, and upon seeing it, a wave of fury surged through Rahul, doubling his strength. He attacked so swiftly that the elder had no time to react before his head was separated from his body.
Seeing this, Kanishka immediately fired a gun, hitting Rahul, while another bullet struck Vishal in the heart. Before Rahul collapsed, he hurled a knife at Kanishka, striking him in the eye. Just then, the sound of approaching footsteps filled the air.
Rahul lay on the ground, gravely wounded, while Vishal was critically injured. Vibha, in desperation, tried to save Vishal. Nearby, more than 25 martial artists lay injured, and Kanishka, now missing a hand and blinded in one eye, fled the scene. Rahul struggled to stand, determined to help Vibha carry Vishal. As they attempted to flee, a voice called out from behind.
“Rahul, stop! It’s too late.” The voice belonged to none other than Master Ramacharya.
Ramacharya had suspected that Kanishka might do something reckless, but he had placed his faith in Rahul’s abilities. Now, seeing the bullet wounds on Rahul’s body and Vishal’s critical state, he realized they had arrived too late.
Elder Vaidya Sung immediately sealed Rahul's blood vessels and administered four healing pills. However, when he checked Vishal’s condition, he was shocked. The bullet had struck Vishal's heart directly. Vaidya Sung used the Nine Layers of Needle technique to seal the blood vessels around his heart and administered healing pills, but the situation continued to worsen.
Ramacharya, filled with regret, said, "Rahul, I’m sorry. This is all my fault. I had a feeling, but I was caught in their trap again."
Rahul, angry and weak, replied, "Father, I know you suspected this, but if you had warned me, none of this would have happened. I didn’t expect this from you. Now, because of you, my son’s life and everything we’ve worked for is in danger."
Vibha, also furious, said, "Rahul, we need to take Vishal to my lab immediately, or it’ll be too late."
Ramacharya tried to console Rahul. "Don’t worry, son. We’ll save Vishal at any cost. Nothing will happen to him with Master Sung here."
Rahul, kneeling on the ground, replied, "I trust Uncle Sung completely. He’s brought people back from the brink of death, but Vishal’s condition is too severe. Even if he survives, who knows when he’ll regain consciousness? Please, Father, give me the Portal Door Ring."
Reluctantly, Ramacharya handed the ring to Rahul. With it, Rahul opened the portal and took Vibha and Vishal through it.
Three months later, with the help of Dr. Kanojia, Vibha replaced Vishal's damaged organs using regenerative technology, and he recovered.
After hearing about his father’s past, Vishal asked, "Dad, did you ever try to go back or find out what happened afterward?"
Rahul, placing his hand on Vishal’s shoulder, said, "No, I never went back. The portal can only be opened from the outside world once a year. By the time I realized, it was too late, and now I don’t have the courage to return. However, I kept in touch with Amar, and everything seemed fine. But for the past three years, I haven't been able to reach him."
