Light, at that moment, thinks he was lucky that his enemy didn't go at full power from the beginning of the battle.
Cris held back at first because he underestimated the boy's abilities, but after he recognized his strength, he began to take that battle more seriously.
For Light, the difference in speed and resistance was noticeable when compared to Yuri and his henchman.
Suddenly, the boy feels a needle in his stomach. The punch Cris through earlier still hurts. He mutters in pain, but manages to hold on.
Immediately, Light thinks about his brother's condition. He worries about William, and anxiety takes over his body.
"I should help him..." Light thinks and gets up with difficulty, feeling pain, but starts to move, walking towards the south gate.
The boy runs, but without much intensity, because his belly is still sore.
At the south gate, Yanma and William fight Saibur in an intense battle!
Superficial cuts on Saibur's clothes were made by William, while Yanma is in charge of defending and providing cover for the boy to find a gap in the man's defense.
Saibur feels cornered without having the chance to counterattack, but he doesn't feel uncomfortable in this situation.
The student and his teacher try to attack the man again. With quick vertical and diagonal attacks, Yanma forces Saibur to defend himself; meanwhile, William tries to explore his enemy's flanks.
Saibur defends all the captain's strikes, but the same cannot be said for William, who can make quick cuts, although not very effective. Saibur jumps back, increasing his distance.
Yanma takes the lead in the attack; however, William does not advance as usual, and seems to have stayed a little further back, preparing something.
Yanma noticed. It would be an endurance fight if they maintained the same strategy, and Saibur didn't seem to be tired even after the entire duel.
Saibur knew that at some point they would get tired, and all it would take was the slightest effort to kill them.
William, on the other hand, wasn't thinking about any of that. He just wanted to defeat that man, no matter how. Therefore, the boy was activating his Dragon Magic.
His iris turned red, with some shades of amber surrounding the pupil that had taken on a vertical and narrow shape.
On its head, a small horn formed on the right side of its head, resembling a calf's horn.
The boy's teeth also changed, with his canine teeth becoming larger and sharper.
The skin on his face resembles that of a reptile, with diamond shapes forming a pattern on the left side of his hand.
At this moment, William became almost an animalistic figure.
He then holds, with both hands, the dagger he carries. Concentrating your energy for an overwhelming attack!
William raises his hands, and his dagger begins to spark, as if it is heating up. And then, the blade ignites, in a reddish fire.
William then discharges his most powerful magic, making a vertical cut, releasing all the fire from his dagger!
The flames turn a towering purple.
"Yanma!" William just shouts his teacher's name, who looks back and moves out of the way.
However, Saibur was surprised by the fast-moving flames!
He has the time to just raise his sword to defend in an awkward manner. This doesn't do much good, because the moment the fire finds him, he is thrown towards the walls of the kingdom!
Saibur collides with the wall, causing a loud bang!
Dust rises from the rocks that have been destroyed. Yanma knows that this won't be enough to defeat him, and she starts running towards where Saibur was thrown.
Saibur, in turn, is kneeling after falling and getting up. He breathes heavily; his head is bleeding from the back, but that doesn't worry him. His sword partially absorbed the damage, creating a small crack in the blade.
The dust around makes it difficult to see things, but that doesn't make Yanma's sharp intuition impaired.
Before Saibur can fully compose herself, the knight captain emerges from the mist of debris and executes a diagonal slash with her sword!
The man manages to defend while still kneeling, holding on to the strength of his swords. If he lets go, Yanma's sword will win, and his chest will be pierced.
To Saibur's surprise, the one who appears behind Yanma is William, advancing and making numerous thrusts.
Saibur, with all his strength, carries his sword and Yanma's sword to his right side, and at the same time, he stands up.
Yanma and Saibur grind their teeth in a battle of strength between the two blades. At that moment, Saibur's sword cracks a little more, and he realizes that, at any moment, his sword will break.
With that in mind, he pushes the knight with her fragile blade. William appears on his side, trying to attack, but his attempt fails, as Saibur defends and retaliates the attack. The boy manages to defend himself, but is thrown back.
Meanwhile, Yanma heads towards you, distributing several attacks. Vertical, diagonal, horizontal cuts, thrusts—Yanma tries everything, and Saibur just defends, going backwards.
Suddenly, William launches a sharp blast of air towards the enemy!
Saibur defends himself with the sword, but this comes at a great price, as his sword breaks into pieces, and all that is left is less than half the blade.
However, the criminal cannot afford to regret it, as Yanma delivers a transversal, smooth and perfect blow.
Saibur has the necessary reflexes to dodge it, but unfortunately for him, his head wound pulses, creating a disconcerting pain that makes him lose focus and let his right hand be severed from his body.
His sword falls along with his grasping hand. Part of his clothing was also torn off in the cut. The blood from his arm drips to the floor and soaks his clothes, which turn a dark reddish tone.
He doesn't murmur in pain, but his discomfort is visible when he looks at his bleeding arm.
Yanma, however, has no mercy and attacks the man.
He walks backwards, staggering and expressing pain. Until Yanma reaches him, he tries to protect himself with his arms forming an ''X'' in front of his face, but the knight aims at his heart and thrusts her sword, piercing his enemy's body.
For a few moments, Saibur has no reaction, until blood begins to leak from his mouth, and he consequently spits.
Your arms, which were previously in a defensive position, have become weaker and lower. His left hand holds Yanma's sword, trying to withdraw it, but to no avail.
Ironically, Yanma pulls out the sword, causing his clothes to start being dyed red.
His legs can no longer support him, and so he kneels against his own will. His head hangs low, until all life drains from his eyes.
And so, the winners of the duel to the death are Yanma Fumiko and William Rods.
