DOLLIE
Dragged through the streets of Hostage, I always thought the small town had a rather strange name, and Hostage was the weirdest name I had ever heard.
A cloth was held over my mouth and I felt paralyzed, my consciousness dabbling between light and darkness.
“What a pretty little blonde.” A voice said, one filled with mischief, I'm sure it was a man’s voice, but it sounded so cheery, not that men can’t be cheery— this one was just….creepily happy.
My shoes were covered in muck from being dragged through the rainy seasoned streets of Hostage.
What a weird name— but now it just makes sense I guess.
Brought into a building I couldn’t make out my surroundings, I was lucky to not have passed out and my eyelids were almost shut, making my vision more blurry.
Wherever I was, was warm, and smelled strangely like the cranberry sauce that flooded the shelves of the stores here.
I was only supposed to be here for a day or two….
“Oh! What a cute little crumb!” A soft, joyful voice said, she sounded like her vocal cords were soaked in sugar. “Be a good cookie and take her down to the kitchen~”
“Okie dokie, I’ll do that right away Mama! Hopefully, Papa likes her!” The boy said again, dragging me behind him.
What was that supposed to mean?!
Wanting to move it was like I was paralyzed, I’d kick this man right in the groin and run! But….my body felt like lead.
Dragging me down the stairs, my ankles hit the stairs again and again, a quick pain shooting up my legs every time.
The place got darker and darker, until a red light flooded my already limited vision.
“Papa! I got you some new ingredients!” The boy yelled.
Steps sounded through my ears, and my heart sank with each one, whoever it was, I could tell they were tall just from their steps.
“Good, put her on the table.” Papa said, and I wanted to crawl out of my own body so bad it hurt.
Move, MOVE, MOVE!
I needed to run! Escape! But I couldn’t even wiggle my toes, whatever this little creep did to me— when I get out of this I’ll— CURSES!
Placed onto a table I was laid on my back, and I felt as someone brushed my hair with their fingers.
“Papa! Her hair is so pretty! Can’t I have it?” A little girl said, her giggle causing shivers to run down my spine.
Stay away from me you freaks!
But before he could respond, I heard a snip, and my hair fall limply, the little girl giggling.
“This will look so pretty on one of my dolls!” The little girl said, her shoes tapping away as she ran out.
If I could I’d leap up and strangle that brat—
Hearing knives sharpen against each other, it slammed down beside my face when a call could be heard.
“Sweeties!! Dinner time!! Mama made a feast!” The mother yelled, and the two boys signed.
“We’ll get back to this.” The father said, I was so still I stopped breathing…..
Hearing their footsteps one, by one…I waited…..
They were gone……with the little bit of movement I now had, I began rocking back and forth until I fell off the table with a loud thud.
Tears dropped from my eyes that tried to open, and I looked from the ground to find myself in a stone underground kitchen with saws, a large oven…..and…
Gagging I look at the faces that cover the wall….dried out skin in the frames…..
This wasn’t just a kitchen…..
