Kreo landed on the rooftop, eyes locked onto the villain. "What's your plan this time?" he shouted, his voice echoing through the quiet night.
The villain stood silently, his eyes fixed on Kreo. There was no smirk, no witty retort—just a cold, unreadable expression.
Without warning, the villain lunged forward, launching a burst of energy from his hands. Kreo dodged, the blast narrowly missing him and leaving a scorch mark on the rooftop.
Kreo countered with a powerful punch, aiming straight for the villain’s stomach. The villain blocked it with a swift move, then retaliated with a kick to Kreo’s side, sending him stumbling back. The two clashed fiercely, exchanging blows and dodging attacks in a relentless dance of strength and speed.
Kreo growled, throwing a series of rapid punches, each one met with a deflecting block from the villain. The villain's silence was unnerving, his face a mask of concentration, eyes flickering with brief emotions—anger, pain, frustration.
"You should just give up," Kreo shouted, his voice cutting through the sound of their battle. "You can't win this fight."
The villain’s only response was a hard uppercut that made Kreo stagger. Regaining his balance, Kreo charged again, grabbing the villain before hurling him towards a skyscraper.
"Agh!" The Golden Masked villain shouted as he was slammed into the side of the skyscraper, leaving a deep crater in the wall.
Dazed, he opened his eyes just in time to see the hero charging at him. He tried to leap away, but the hero was faster, grabbing the villain by the neck and slamming him back against the wall. The villain clawed at the hero's iron grip, desperate for air.
"When will you surrender?" Kreo James growled, tightening his hold, his eyes burning with determination.
The villain grinned defiantly, even as his vision blurred. With a sudden surge of strength, he kneed Kreo in the stomach, forcing him to release his grip and sending him flying backward.
The villain gasped for breath, tying up his fake shoulder-length hair with trembling hands and adjusting his golden mask. With a smirk, he launched himself at Kreo, punching him in the Jaw.
Kreo spun from the force of the blow but quickly regained his balance. He wiped the blood from his lip, eyes locked on the villain. "You're running out of tricks," he said coldly.
The villain's smile faltered for a moment, pain etched in his face. He was hurt, but he couldn't show weakness now. He stood straight pretending to be fine while stepping back, his legs trembling slightly.
Kreo advanced, but the villain was already moving, pushing his body to the limit. With a burst of speed, he darted towards the edge of the rooftop, leaving a small trail of blood. Kreo hesitated, sensing the desperation in the villain's retreat.
Azazel reached the edge and leaped into the night, twisting in the air as he plummeted toward the dark streets below, Kreo rushed to the edge, watching as the villain's figure disappeared into the shadows.
Frustrated, Kreo clenched his fists, his heart pounding. He couldn’t let the villain escape again. Not this time.
With a determined look, Kreo flew down into the dark alleyways, following the faint trail left by the villain. The chase was on.
The villain darted through the narrow streets, his breath coming in ragged gasps. The silence of his retreat was shattered by Kreo’s relentless pursuit.
Kreo gained ground, his focus unyielding. He spotted the villain up ahead, limping slightly. The villain’s face twisted in pain for a moment before he disappeared around a corner. Kreo surged forward, determined to end this.
He rounded the corner just in time to see the villain stumble. Seizing the opportunity, Kreo tackled him to the ground. The villain struggled, his strength waning, his silence now a grim testament to his resolve.
Kreo pinned the villain down, his breath heavy. "It's over," he said, tightening his grip. But the more Kreo looked at the villain the more familiar the feeling.
The villain's eyes flashed with defiance, but he said nothing. In a last-ditch effort, he twisted, breaking free from Kreo’s hold and delivering a desperate punch to Kreo's jaw. Kreo staggered, and the villain took the chance to flee again.
Blood from his wounds left a trail, but the villain kept moving, disappearing into the labyrinthine alleyways. Kreo watched him go, frustration boiling over.
The hero’s heart pounded in his chest, a mix of anger and concern. The villain was hurt, badly, but he had escaped once again. Kreo clenched his fists, he already let the villain go once, he wouldn't let him slip away so easily now.
The villain kept running, the alley leading him into a dark, unlit forest. He heard the grass crunch as Kreo stepped onto the forest floor behind him.
‘What?’ Azazel thought. ‘This wasn't supposed to happen!’
Azazel hadn't thought this through. He was frustrated, angry, and upset with himself. The only thing he could think about was Kreo.
He couldn't hold it in anymore and just wanted to throw everything onto the ground. He thought of fighting the hero, and Kreo would just follow him into the valley and then let him go again.
Azazel stopped as he sat down under a tree, his breath ragged. He was injured and tired, he just wants to end his life here and now.
Suddenly Kreo jumped out and strangled Azazel down on the ground. Azazel looked at Kreo, the hero’s eyes burning with a mix of fury and desperation. The forest was silent, the only sound being Azazel grabbing Kreo's hands while on his neck.
Azazel's body trembled. He didn't respond much, just glared at Kreo with a mix of anger and hopelessness.
Azazel remained silent, his mind racing. He wanted to scream, to lash out, but he knew it wouldn't change anything.
“Just kill me here,” the villain said using his last breath. “I'll only die if it's being killed by you.”
