Arthur:

I woke up in pain, dreading getting out of bed. If I didn’t want to be late – and I certainly didn't want to be late – I had to hurry. Otherwise, Sergeant Caitlyn would make me run until I passed out again. Reluctantly, I got out of bed, changed into my uniform, and put on the annoying mask. I hated the mask. Only I could take it off, so if anything serious happened and they needed to see my face, there was a good chance I'd die. What’s more annoying is that the mask blocks my vision, so I can’t really see well enough. I wonder if William is having the same problem. I wonder how William is doing, how the princess is doing. Evelyn came by and told me who William was training with, and from what I heard, the things were terrible, and Malikor's training is cruel. But I don’t have any worries that William will succeed. William always finds a way to win; that’s something I wish I had.

I left the building and headed to Sergeant Caitlyn. There was a mist that covered the area, but once I told Sergeant Caitlyn, she gave me a medallion, and the mist disappeared, which was cool.

"Cadet Key, you're one second late. You know the consequences!" Sergeant Caitlyn yelled at me as I entered her training grounds.

"BUT IT'S ONLY ONE SECOND! CAN'T YOU SPARE ME, PLEASE?" I yelled in desperation, trying to avoid my punishment.

"Can't do, cadet. You're here to learn, and one thing you have to learn is that even one second late can change the tide in battle. So, go on, give me 10 laps around the training area, full speed. If you slow down, I’ll add another 3 laps. Now go!"

The three cadets there laughed at me as I slumped my head and shoulders and began to run. Luckily, the dome building wasn’t that big. The ground was all grass, with the ceiling made out of glass. I finished in under 3 minutes but was way out of breath. I made my way towards the group, trying to catch my breath. When I got there, Ms. Caitlyn finished her talk, and the three cadets went to do as they were told, while Ms. Caitlyn came to me.

"Whoa, you managed to finish in under 3 minutes. Good job, Key," Ms. Caitlyn said with a congratulatory tone.

"Thank... you, Ms. Caitlyn," I said, still trying to catch my breath.

"Heh, come on, Key. Let's continue your training."

For the past 3 days, Ms. Caitlyn has been trying to teach me how to incorporate mana into my sword style combat, which is funny because, before the incident with the king and William, my master was about to teach me the same. So, while Ms. Caitlyn’s training isn't 100% perfect, it's still really helpful.

"Alright Key since you can connect to all elements try and gather fire mana and convert it into lighting."Ms. Caitlyn said so casually

"Ms. Caitlyn I've told you you've got to give me more information and how to create lighting like you do, how do you do it what does it feel like only because i have connects to all the elements doesn't mean I'm great with them. "I said A little annoyed

"Hmmm I don't really got an answer for you key I just gather the fire mana and it automatically changes"

I let out a big sigh this was Ms.Caitlyns first year teaching so she really was bad at explaining some things, with my master he gave me clear instructions on how to use my sword style what to feel how to use it when to use it man my master was really awesome i wounder if his mad at me?

"CADIT KEY STOP SPACING OUT AND TURN FIRE INTO LIGHTING!"Ms Caitlyn yelled at me

"you know you say that like its so easy to change one of the main four elements but its really hard especially since my teacher cant really teach. "I said trying to annoy her

"TSK fine then line up if you don't want to do as I say maybe a little fighting will change your mind "

My eyes grew big as my plan to annoy her into fighting worked since she sucked at explaining i found out that observing her fight really helped into knowing how she used her lighting. When we first fought she didn't use any lighting on me but these three days I've managed to keep up with her without her lighting but when she activities her lighting she becomes nearly invisible to the normal eye but with my sword style i can mange to kinda see her

"Alright key are you ready!"Ms. Caitlyn said lining up on the other side of the dome

"Sure am! "I yelled 

It was only the two of us inside as the others were training outside due to their magic

"THEN BEGIN"Ms. Caitlyn yelled immediately covering herself in lighting

I activated my sword style in time to witness her attack coming straight throws my face i followed the mana which lead me to doge left I used some fire mana and covered my sword in fire and swung it throws Ms. Caitlyn and in a flash she kick my sword making me lose my balance but i quickly followed up with a big gust of wind in my left hand and throw it throws her as she was inches away from landing an attack so close she couldn't doge so it landed making her launch quite away giving me time to recover and see her land on all fours like a cat. Observing i saw that she used more lighting but this time I saw how she changed it she gathers a hugh amount of fire mana and tries to compress them into small fire mana but this leads to them to cause Hugh amounts of Friction which cause a spark and all the sparks combine to form a chain of lighting fascinating in my moment of observing I almost lost sight as she increased her lighting output and started to jump up and down all around the dome trying to make me lose sight of her so instead of trying to  keep sight of her I started to try and make lighting I closed my eyes and gather Hugh amounts of fire mana and compressed them together then all around me a light chain of lighting covered me.It felt amazing even tho the lighting was faint it gave me a boost in  my senses combine that with my sword style i could clearly see Ms.Caitly coming to attack me her face was clear as day she wasn't blurry anymore but still she was moving fast so the only thing i could managed was a quick kick to her stomach but that one kick dispelled my lighting covering me.

"HAHA DAME KID YOU DID IT ALL THO YOU COUDVE KICK ME MORE GENTLY BUT STILL YOU MANGED TO USE LIGHITING AHA.HOW DOES IT FEEL!"Ms.Caitlyn yelled so happily

"IT feels.."

Huh why are my eyes closing and why am i falling to the ground oh shi.
