Micah stayed in the van for a few minutes. He reflectedo n what happenedl ast time with Jax.
He chose Jax because he thought he was the safe person that would help him with his dynasty in the acting industry. He thought Jax wouldn't fall in love with him. But he was wrong.
He sighed. "It's time to end this."
As far as anyone could tell, Micah was the most objective person. When someone didn't play the role he wanted them to play, he would immediately cut that person off his life. There was no use for people who couldn't play their roles.
Micah opened the car door. The first thing he did was look for Micah. When he asked the staff about his hwereabouts, they were giggling, thinking that Micah couldn't live without his boyfriend.
"That reminds me," Micah thought. "I have to tell his boss to end the contract as well. I was the one who suggested it after all."
The staff told him that Jax was in the dressing room and there he headed.
The moment he opened the door, he was met with Jax's face. Jax instantly looked away and tried to walk past him. But Micah stopped him.
"Let's talk," Micah said.
Jax sighed and agreed.
They sat across each other and Jax began, "Let's have this as our final talk."
"You just took the word right out of my mouth."
"That's good to hear."
Micah noticed that Jax hissed in pain whenever he talked. It wasn't obvious, but Micah noticed it.
Micah leaned forward. This caused Jax to reflexively lean back, but Micah held his head in place. Micah squinted his eyes when he saw bruises and a bite mark on Jax's lips.
Micah sat back and crossed his arms. "Who were you wtih?"
Jax gulped then said, "The other people in the team, of course. Who else would I be with?" He chuckled nervously.
Jax knew what Micah was talking about. But he had to play dumb to be safe. Safe from two things - first from Micah's wrath since his role was still Micah's boyfriend and second from Sebastian since they still hadn't talked about it. He was planning to do it right away when he realized what happened, but Sebastian had flown abroad because of a personal matter. Not wanting to talk about something serious over the phone, Jax figured he'd just have to wait.
"Then who was it that bit your lower lip?"
Jax's eyes widened. He covered it with some lipstick before he went to the filming site. He tried to think of an excuse.
"Oh, this? I accidentally bit my lip when I was eating. It was so painful you know."
Jax looked and sounded like he was telling the truth, but Micah wasn't stupid.
"Sebastian?" Micah said. Judging by Jax's reaction, he didn't need any further confirmation. "Supposedly, the agenda of our talk today wasn't going to have Sebastian in any part. But since you want to bring him up, let's talk about your dear Sebby."
Jax frowned. "I didn't bring him up, Micah. I told you it's nothing. You're the one who keeps on bringing him up."
"I heard Sebastian's family owns a hotel. Was it nice doing it there?"
"You're being insensitive, Micah. I don't like how you're talking to me."
"Don't worry, Jax. If I were you I'd go for it, too. Doing it in a hotel sounds fun."
Jax stood up in anger. "You said you wanted to have a talk, but we're going nowhere. Let's talk when you're ready."
"Where do you think you're going?"
Jax headed to the door. When his hand made contact with the knob, a glass hit the door on his left side.
"Don't make me throw any more glasses, Jax," Micah said.
Realizing the severity of the situation, he sat back down.
"There's my good old Jax. So what were you doing with Sebastian?"
Jax frowned. "Nothing, Micah. Can we stop talking about Sebastian? Let's talk about us. This isn't doing any of us good."
Micah raised one of his brows. "You're wrong, Jax. This isn't doing you any good. Your a** just couldn't wait for Sebastian's d**k."
"Micah! Why are you being like this?"
Micah just looked at him coldly.
"Is it because of my confession?" Jax asked. "I know you don't like me, but you don't have to go this far just to make me hate you, just to make my feelings stop."
"I'm not doing this to make your feelings stop, Jax. Quite the contrary. The way you've been behaving makes it easy to fool the public. Let's continue with this act for the years to come."
Micah's plan had changed. Getting such a strong reaction from Jax upon the mention of Sebastian irked him. Wasn't Jax supposed to have feelings for him? So why was he acting that way?
"I won't allow you to use my feelings to build whatever you're trying to build, Micah. If you want to be successful in this industry, go ahead. Try your best. But I won't let you use my feelings." Jax stood up. "Whether you're gonna throw another glass or not, I'm leaving. Thank you for your kindness, sir Micah."
Jax headed to the door. Although he was bold when he said those words, he was still on guard for anything that would be thrown his way. Thankfully, there was nothing and he was able to leave.
That was all thanks to Micah shattering the glass in his hand, leaving him with nothing else to throw. He didn't like how Jax called him sir.
Micah didn't like it when people didn't play the roles he wanted them to play. And he further disliked it when people were actively against him.
"Fine. But let me give you a piece of advice for old time's sake. I gave you your fame; I can take it away anytime." Micah's eyes were cold.
Micah called Jax's boss and told him about ending the contract. Then he called his own boss to arrange a new pairing for him.
"Let's see, Jax. How will you rise without me? You can't." He smirked.
Jax, Micah, and Sebastian are the trending names in Thailand for starring in the most popular BL series of the year. Jax plays the protagonist, Micah the possessive top, and Sebastian the one who drives the love triangle.
All is well for the three who have been in the BL industry for a few years and have only gotten a break now. But things start to take a turn when the plot in their series slowly begins to become the plot of their lives.
