Marco suddenly sets his entire body on fire, causing the roots that entwined him to be reduced to ashes and freeing him from the trap. At the same time, Marco moves forward to attack Rodic. 

Rodic's eyes widen. He didn't think Marco would be able to get rid of his attacks so quickly. 

"Is he stronger than me?" Those were the words that ran through his mind. 

The adventurer creates strong and massive roots that emerge from the ground, behind Marco, and grab his arms and legs. 

In this short space of time, the adventurer is able to distance himself minimally from his enemy. On the other hand, Marco frees himself from the roots by making a fire so intense that it is possible to see the inside glowing in flames until it spreads and burns completely. 

With his free hands, Marco produces a fireball that grows exponentially until it is approximately the size of a church bell. 

Rodic, who had already noticed the magic formation, ran towards the gate he came from, which was far away. 

The sphere of flame reaches such aggressive temperatures that its interior color takes on a bluish tinge. The light emitted around it makes it appear as if the sun is on earth. 

Marco then moves his arms in a throwing movement, directing them towards Rodic! 

The adventurer looks back in mid-run and stops, turning toward the fireball. And then, three wooden walls appear from the ground as if they were gates rising from the earth! 

The walls are lined up, each with a thickness and density that surpasses even steel walls. 

Rodic runs again and the fireball continues its path towards the walls. Rodic, who has his back to the large flames, can only see the lighting increasing as the fire approaches. 

And then, the fireball collides with the first wall and mercilessly shatters it. The second wall manages to resist for milliseconds but is destroyed. The third resists fire and remains firm, but with cracks and burns. 

At the same moment that Rodic looks back to see the situation, Marco appears in front of him with his arm on fire! 

When the adventurer notices, it's too late, and Marco throws a cross punch to Rodic's face, which causes him to be thrown into a construction site!

Pieces of wood and debris fly everywhere, and Rodic stops on the other side of the house. His head is dripping with blood, which drips from his forehead. 

The adventurer is dazed by the attack, giving him no opportunity to maintain his reflexes at full strength. 

Marco takes advantage of this moment and, when Rodic looks up, he sees his enemy with his sword ready to split him in half! 

Almost like a natural movement, Rodic awkwardly sidesteps, ducking to the left. 

Taking advantage of this, he jumps out the window. Marco doesn't have the same elasticity and flexibility as the adventurer, so he acts the easiest way and blows up the wall in front of him! 

When he sees him, Rodic has just climbed onto the roofs of the houses with his vines. "Staying away from the gate was a mistake!" Rodic thinks. "If I can get him out of the kingdom, I can use my magic more freely." Finished. 

He then swings from building to building at high speed, aiming to reach the gate he was previously at. 

Marco, however, is cunning and knew Rodic's intentions the moment he saw him run. He wastes no time and uses the combustion of fire to propel himself and reach high speed! 

The chase between the two begins, and Rodic realizes that Marco is following him. Therefore, he increases his speed even more, making risky maneuvers. 

The leader of the invaders, realizing this, propels himself horizontally, gaining speed and staying above the rooftops. 

Until then, the west gate is just a few meters away from the adventurer's reach. Rodic attaches his vines to the two gates and intends to launch himself out as if it were a slingshot. 

When he was ready to make the move, Marco appears above him with his sword blazing, ready to attack! 

And there, Rodic dropped his vines and abruptly made a wooden shield! 

Marco is faster and delivers the blow when the shield was still forming. 

Rodic instantly feels the crushing and infernal force that hits his arms as his body is thrown to the ground like a cannonball. 

The ground made of rocks is shattered when Rodic collides with to it! 

"Do you think I'm stupid?" Marco says as he returns to the ground. "I know that you Forest Magic users become stronger when you are in contact with the earth." He says.

At the site of the impact, Rodic, who is lying down and barely conscious, feels that he has broken some rib bones. His vision becomes blurred, but he quickly manages to recover.
