*Back to Cassandra's pov*
Exhausted by my day, I step back to the Owl tent. I find Olivia, sitting on her bed, her gaze troubled as she stares at the floor.
- Olivia? I call her out as she looks over.
- Hey Cassandra...She greets me in a faint voice.
- What are you doing? Are you okay?
I walk closer to her, and when she notices I'm getting to my bed, her eyes widen and she looks like she's about to say something. When I sit next to her on her bed, she sighs in relief. Weird.
- I'm looking at the floor; I'm reflecting...She admits
- What are you thinking about?
My friend sighs wearily, replacing a strand of brown hair behind her ear with a guilty look.
- Audrey wants to take her revenge. You probably already know it. I'm thinking about her next revenge...
For an odd reason, I find this amusing and start laughing, as Olivia chuckles nervously, a few seconds later.
- She won't success, this time... You overthink much. I replicate, a sheepish smile on my lips.
Olivia nods, avoiding my gaze. Her amber eyes stare at my bed, before looking at me. She plants her gaze in mine and takes a deep breath, speaking out loud.
- I saw Audrey and Lana sticking crazy glue to your bed, but I was too frozen to react.
Flabbergasted, I feel my anger heating me up. Why didn't she react? Is she lying to me? Decided to make her say the truth, I retort in a confident voice:
- Prove it to me. Who knows if you're secretly in a team with Audrey and that you're teasing me. I'll need a proof, or else I'll have no other option then ignore you.
The brown-haired girl leaves the eye-contact, in a way to signal she could do so. I sigh, hoping a bad joke as Eva and the rest of the group arrives. I can even hear Olivia muttering to herself "C'mon, it's time to expose Lana and Audrey, once again..." I squint my eyes, affected by the group atmosphere. Some of them sit right next to me, congratulating me. Others make thumb's ups from afar. Audrey and Laa are staring at me, visibly waiting for something to happen.
- Eva, Cassandra...Starts Olivia in a weak but assured tone.
I shift to my friend as well as my instructor, who nods and sends her azur gaze to our interlocutor.
- I have the suspicion that Audrey tried something against Cassandra. I convoque the breaking of rule number 5.
The group lets out whimpers of surprise, as I remain silent.
- So, Olivia, what do you think Audrey did? Questions Eva, putting her hands on her hips as she mentions a lot of implied idea.
- I saw her putting crazy glue on her bed. My friend affirms after taking a deep breath.
In my sight, I can notice Audrey's eyes widen, but then, her expression gets back to an unreadable one. Yet, she looks nervous, and I see it in her eyes.
- I would like to test this hypothesis with a bottle of sunscreen.. She continues while gesturing to my bottle next to my bed.
Eva sighs and nods her head, throwing the cream on the bed, not daring to touch it, waiting for the results. The atmosphere is filled with tensions; nobody dares to speak. After a few minutes, Eva attempts removing the sunscreen, yet it doesn't move a single inch.
- Audrey and Lana effectively broke rule number 5, she announces, judging them cautiously, what would be the penitence, Cassandra?
Everyone turns to me, including the two girls, their eyes wide with fear and anticipation.
