In a fictional world kinda like the omegaverse, even male omegas can become pregnant. When two people in this world want to be bonded for life, they make a mark on each other by biting the crook or nape of the neck. This mark is like a permanent connection between them, similar to a marriage but even stronger and permanent (for the most part). Trying to break this bond has serious consequences and they are called mates.

There is a hierarchy in the pack. The lowest rank is omega, followed by sigma, which is a step up from omega all omegas can be preggo and sigmas because sigmas are usually mated to dominants which makes them a bit higher in the hierarchy. The dominants, no matter their gender, can make others pregnant as long as the other partner has the ability to get preggo. Then there are usually two betas appointed, one male and one female, who help run the pack and take over if the alpha leaves. At the top are the alphas, who control everything in the pack, and there is usually only one alpha but there are a couple of exceptions like if an alpha has a heir thats of age.
