"Get up, Keith, we’ve arrived!" I heard Sana’s voice urging me to wake up, her hand gently nudging my shoulder as if trying to coax me back to reality.

I reacted almost immediately, grabbing the rest of my luggage and following her toward the exit. Just before I lost sight of our seats, I noticed that he was no longer there.

Perhaps we would never cross paths again, but he had struck me as the kind of person who was serious in every situation, possessing the demeanor of a courtier while harboring a warm spirit inside. I felt a pang of regret for not having the courage to even ask his name, but perhaps fate had decided otherwise.

"I can drop you off at the next stop in the neighboring town!" Sana murmured, pulling my attention back to her. I chuckled and stepped off the train, the sun piercing my eyes, forcing me to groan.

"Oh no, will you burn, Mr. Keith?! Your vampire blood must be so difficult to handle... who knows how heavy it is for you!" she began sarcastically, causing laughter to bubble up within me.

"Get moving, or you’ll be my first victim." I growled playfully, and she pretended to be scared, dashing ahead while I chased after her.

I had no idea what awaited me, nor if I would be able to handle it, but I was certain that with her support, I could go far. My friendship with Sana, although still new, felt special. I considered myself lucky that my story was slowly being written in her presence.

"Welcome back! How was it?" My mother greeted me at the door just as I struggled to keep my balance.

"How do you expect it to go? We were just studying!" I mumbled in annoyance, but her laughter filled the space as she playfully ruffled my hair.

"I thought there might be something more serious developing between you two," she commented as I took off my second shoe.

"She’s just a friend!" I protested, heading up the stairs to my room.

"That’s what your father said about me," she called after me, and I rolled my eyes with a smile, choosing not to engage further.

Once inside my room, I tossed my clothes aside and flopped onto my bed, letting out a deep sigh. I was home, and there was no place more comforting. The air freshener filled the room with a scent of spring, and it reminded me of the boy from the train.

I could still see him clearly in my mind; his gaze seemed to convey a message, but his body had hidden his true feelings. This would undoubtedly haunt me for a while. I glanced at my phone and smiled when I saw a message from Sana.

@velvsana
I’m homeee! There’s no greater happiness.

@_shuuuga
I just managed to lie down on my bed too. I get your happiness.

@velvsana
Absolutely! By the way, what will you do with the next letter? Do you want me around when you read it, or will you do it alone now?

@_shuuuga
To be honest, I don’t want to be alone, so if you’re free tomorrow after class?

@velvsana
Of course, rest well. I’ll see you tomorrow morning.

@_shuuuga
Until tomorrow.

I set my phone aside, staring at the ceiling. I lingered in that state for a brief moment until laziness began to fade, and I realized I needed to take a shower before completely losing control over my fatigue. I needed a good rest, and I would be incredibly grateful if I could momentarily forget about the upcoming letter. That would be my salvation for today.

When the protagonist loses his memories, he finds himself in a disoriented state of existence. To recover his lost identity, he embarks on a journey through semi-real worlds, uncovering secrets and connections he has forgotten. Through letters and encounters with the people he left behind, he strives to piece together his past. In this mosaic-like journey, he discovers not only what he has lost but also what it truly means to remember...

"Is it recording? I suppose it should be recording," said Keith with a half-smile, as an awkward and quiet laugh escaped the lips of the boy standing in the empty room, trying to turn on an old camera that he had been struggling with for over an hour.

'Hey Ethan, unfortunately, if you're watching this, it means I'm no longer with you.'
