Erick nodded, but the problem was something else, they both had to convince Erick's mom to agree upon this, which seemed to be dangersome. 

We both went down to the living room, where my mom was sitting on couch and enjoying her coffee, at first I was trembling to ask her for permission, but seeing her enjoying her show and slight smile on her face gave me some confidence to ask.

"Mom, I have something to say." Erick stuttered. 

Yeah, go on Erick, his mother said humbly.

He got some confidence.

"Can I stay over at Polo's house?, just for tonight? Please?" Erick pleaded.

'Yeah sure, I don't have any issues with you staying at Polo, afterall he's your best friend. Don't forget to take your belongings so you won't need to wear his clothes.' she replied.

His clothes would be oversized for you! his mother said funnily.

Polo giggled.

Erick being unexpected of such reply from his mom, and getting permission to stay at his friend's home was like a chance event. 

As soon as Erick grabbed his things, they both left.

Finally, we've reached at your house.

You know where my room is, right? You get there, I'll be right back. I'll tell my mom to make some extra dinner. She'll be so happy to see you here.

Okay, I'm waiting there. Erick smiled.

After sometime, Polo came to his room.

You can change, and make yourself comfortable, so you won't have any problem living her tonight. Polo advised and smiled.

Erick took his nightwear from his bag, and removed his shirt to change.

Wait, are you not gonna use the changing room for that? You gonna change in front of me? Polo asked and smirked.

Erick threw his shirt on Polo's face.

You're my best friend, why I have to go to some other place to change. Erick laughed.

Polo was blushing. 

This night is going to be tough for someone like me who have no self control. Polo mumbled.

Did you say something? Polo?

Huh? Yeah-, uh, the valederou, yes I was talking about it.

Oh, yeah you told me you having some idea about it.

"Yeah, actually I remember something like that, maybe I've read it somewhere, maybe in any book from my dad's reading room. You know, my dad's an archaeologist, so he have alot of discovery and mystery related books with him." Polo said. 

They both went down to Polo's father, reading a book in his reading place.

Oh! What a pleasent surprise you gave us Erick, it's been long time we've met, his father said excitedly. 

Yeah, it's been a long time, nice seeing you again. Erick said with a soft smile.

Polo interrupts, dad we wanna know something.

Yeah, sure go on son. His father replied.

Do you have any idea about valederou?

What did you just said? Valederou? From where you heard about it? His father said confoundedly. 

Actually, once I was in your reading room and saw a book named, " A mystery of Blood Diamond - Valederou " .

Oh! Well it's something you guys shouldn't bother about. Leave it.

But dad, at least you can tell something about it? 

The only thing I can tell you about that thing is, that gem costed millions of lives in history about 10,000 years ago, because of which world was in grief for decades, and it's was said that, after 100 decades a human will be born who's blood will be able to change itself into blood diamond - Valederou. Due to this belief many government agencies have setup secret missions so these diamonds won't be misused, because these diamonds can make anyone immortal, and it also has alot of hidden powers, which are mentioned in a ancient book named - 'Valera' .

Everyone dinner is ready, come lets finish it before it's taste fades away. Polo's mom said contently from the kitchen.

Both went for dinner and later went back to Polo's room, still in disbelief of what his father told them about valederou.
