"Can someone hold his head for me?" The nurse asked. "I can not treat him like that."
The male nurse, –that I didn't notice was there all this time– approached me. He failed a few times but finally managed to hold my head down. And now I could barely move as I was more restrained than ever.
For a few long minutes the nurse treated my wound, disinfecting it. She then put something that burned so bad. I couldn't do much but whine. The corners of my eyes itched. The headmaster patted circles over my chest and the nurse spoke calming words. Their actions were comforting alright. But I still didn't like that.
When they finally let me go, I hurried to sit up. Which was a mistake that made me see stars and think it was night.
"Easy" someone said, steadying me with their hands. But I shook them off, releasing a bit of my anger at being held down like a dog.
I leaned forward a bit to try and jump down from the bed. But before my feet could touch the ground, I landed right into someone's arms. That someone returned me to the bed.
I glared at that someone that turned out to be the headmaster. I attempted to shove him with my hands but it was like an ant attempting to move a tree trunk all by herself.
I reached my hands to his face. I don't know exactly what I wanted to do– punch or scratch or just shove him away. But before I could do anything, I found myself flat on my back on the bed, with both of my wrists in one of his hands. He barely needed to use three fingers to hold my hands together.
I growled and arched my back as I tried to take my hands out of his grip. When that didn't work, I tried to kick him with my legs. But that didn't really work either since he was in a certain angle that made it hard for my legs to reach him.
Then, I did the mistake of opening my mouth and trying to bite his hand. Of course I did not manage and instead, he shoved my own hands to my face. Luckily, I already closed my mouth.
"Enough!" He yelled, getting his face closer to mine.
I looked away, grumbling.
Having nothing else to do, I finally relented and moved to lie on my side, scanning the room with my eyes.
A few minutes like that, and then he made me sit, slowly releasing my hands from his grip.
I tried shoving him away again. But that was another stupid mistake, since he already moved. And I fell.
"Ah!" I yelped.
Arms caught me just in time, preventing me from crashing my face on the ground. There was a deep chuckle and the same voice as earlier spoke.
"You don't know when to stop, do you" he clicked his tongue.
I scratched behind my ear, avoiding his eyes. He was right. I do not know when to stop.
He held me closer to him for a few seconds and ruffled my hair gently before placing me back down on the bed.
"Careful" he said and backed off.
I stayed put this time.
"Take it" Rauwin suddenly said. I didn't know what he was talking about, but then he shoved something sweet into my mouth.
"Hopefully this lollipop would manage to calm you and you'd be less grumpy when your parents come to take you" the nurse said. I sucked on the lollipop and swallowed. It was really tasty.
"Mm.. s'good" I mumbled.
I started rhythmically kicking my my legs back and forth. I thought about lying back down to rest, but just then the door opened.
