The Fujiko Gang was met with minor resistance in the heart of Miasto’s wooden seaport. A small hastily assembled army of Kotka runs down the hill of the upper village, bashing their steel swords against their wooden shields’, not a lick of armor; dressed only in their casual village garb. The band of fighters grips their armaments tightly, nervously charging toward the unwavering Fujiko Gang. Their battle cries leak across the seaport sending the remaining ogling citizens into a panicked frenzy and scattering them in all directions like roaches exposed to light.
The towering Fujiko observes the charging army shouting rallying cries into the heavens. She couldn’t help but boldly sneer as her victims swiftly approached her.
“Like lambs to the slaughter.”
Fujiko raises her arm and begins bringing her thumb and middle finger together.
Snap
Like clockwork, the snap of her finger echoes and commands her men to take to their arms, unsheathing various blades, and charge forward, ready to engage in a bloody fight.
The two armies clash. Although they were fewer in number, it seemed as though the Fujiko gang was well-versed in the art of combat. Slashes, stabs, and punches are brutally thrown across each Kotka without hesitation. One by one, the Kotka fell. And as their numbers diminished, so did their morale.
When one Kotka was killed in front of another male fighter, the young man dropped his arms and then ran away screaming.
“AAAAAAH!”
The runner drops his arms and sprints off screaming toward the village.
“YOU IDIOT!” Another fighter turns his head to yell at the runaway. “GET BACK HERE AND FIGHT! IF WE RUN AWAY AND SEPARATE, THEN THE FUJIKO GANG WILL-”
SLASH
The shouter is slashed straight across the chest and falls flat onto the pier grounds. As they fell, another Kotka fighter lost their temper.
“Why you…!”
The Kotka charges with his sword and shield but is blindsided by a flying knife lodging itself in his throat and sending him to the ground. The knife thrower juggles a few blades before catching them all in his hand.
“Hmph,” he smirks. “We should have raided Miasto a long time ago. What kept us waiting?”
The knife wielder throws his blade with great accuracy, launching it in the direction of the hill, and hitting the escapee clean across the back. The runaway falls flat on his face, dead.
One of Fujiko’s henchmen pulls his weapon out of a fallen Kotka while the others are still engaged in combat.
“Fujiko’s boss kept us waiting. She was chompin’ at the bit to come here. And one of the rare times she tries to get what she wants peacefully with money, they fight back.”
Another one of Fujiko’s members knees a Kotka straight in the stomach then stabs them through the back with his long sword.
“These Kotka aren’t good at fighting at all. You’d think with their old age they’d have garnered a modicum of skill. Peaceful times rust the skills of battle, I suppose.”
While Fujiko’s henchmen are conversing and killing their victims easily, one of the Kotka fighters manages to sneak around undetected. A female fighter crouching low but moving swiftly, her feet barely making any noise against the hardwood of the pier.
One of Fujiko’s men turns around and immediately sees the crouched woman gripping a small knife.
“Miss Fujiko!”
Fujiko did not turn around. Instead, she kept staring forward, smiling. The moment the woman lunged forward, Fujiko’s bunny ears perked up, and she gracefully evaded the attack, stepping. The Kotka trips on her feet, and before she can turn around, Fujiko draws her weapon and stabs her straight through the stomach. The tip of the sword was barely visible past her stomach, although it started to become more visible as Fujiko walked forward, holding the body effortlessly across her blade. The edge of her rapier scintillated with steel and blood until Fujiko was towering right behind the woman. The fearful Kotka struggles to turn her head, her frightened eyes rising to the dark gray woman replying with a sinister smile. The tall woman leans forward, speaking beside the dying woman’s ear.
“Did you think a predictable move like that was gonna work?”
The woman is struggling to speak.
“Y-y-you… scum…! W-we’ll never let you near the Super Senior!”
Fujiko thrusts her rapier forward again, causing the Kotka to cough up blood onto the ground.
“Who do you think I am? One of your army’s other fallen fodder? If no one told you who I am out of fear, allow me to inform you…”
Fujiko starts swishing her blade into the woman’s insides, causing her to reel and screech in pain.
“AAAAUGH! AAAAH!” Tears begin rolling from the warrior’s face.
“My name is Fujiko Yuuma. Leader of the Fujiko Gang, sixth Captain of Avgrund. You’re just an intrusive stone I have to step over to barrel my way to my goal. Be lucky these are the last words you hear because you don’t deserve to be this close to my presence.”
The Warrior Kotka tries to grab is stunned due to the high damage sustained.
“That’s enough!”
A voice cuts through the bedlam of battle. Fujiko raised her eyes to see the Super Senior, standing in front of his small army and Fujiko’s gang. The older Kotka wears a rigid glare, staring at the bunny woman from afar.
Fujiko's henchmen notice the Super Senior and grip their weapons tightly.
"Th-the Super Senior?! Where did he come from?!"
They step forward to confront him, but Fujiko raises her hand and signals them to back down.
Fujiko stands upright. With a flick of her wrist, she removes her rapier from the woman while dealing a final slash to her insides. She steps forward, with one foot on the ground and another on the back of the carcass.
“Well, well, well, look who decided to show up when the bodies started piling.”
“Fujiko Yuuma,” The Super Senior repeats in a tone of disdain. “What brings your vile presence to Miasto?”
Fujiko shrugs.
“It’s quite simple, really. I came here willing to offer a trade.”
The Super Senior raises his eyebrow.
“A trade?”
Fujiko nods.
“Indeed. Be thankful I’m still giving you the offer and not pillaging like a savage.”
Fujiko reaches her hand around the back of her pants and tosses another small bag of Mynts at the feet of the Super Senior. He looks down at the bag brimming with Mynts, then back at Fujiko, laying a hand on her hip.
“You take that bag… plus a few more I have on my ship... and give us ownership of the Miasto water. We know you can’t get this kind of water anywhere else in Ziemia. We want that water, and its effects, so we want to offer money for the ownership.”
Super Senior balls his fist, gripping tightly. A vein forms near his temple and he starts grinding his teeth, showcasing his shark Kotka teeth.
“You invade us, uninvited, kill our warriors, terrorize our citizens, and you think you can throw Mynts at me and absolve your troubles…?! ”
The Super Senior flexes his muscles. His fur stands up on all parts of his body. He bares his fangs and leaps fast in a straight line, glaring like mad. Fujiko can see the Super Senior’s growing anger, yet remains stalwart, unimpressed even, at the flexing of his surprisingly well-toned body.
Super Senior opens his hands up, boasting a claw-like formation. His sharp nails shimmer against the sun.
“GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR TOWN!”
Fujiko stands there, one hand on her hip, another on her rapier. Some of her men try to interrupt the attack, leaping in between the jump.
“Watch it you old-”
The Super Senior continues diving forward, and with ease, he takes his right hand and slashes from the top of the man’s head, all the way to the bottom, leaving five nasty clashes running vertically across his body. The pain is so great, that the henchman falls without a word and dies.
“Wooo…” Fujiko whistled, a bit impressed.
Another henchman tries to interrupt.
“H-hey!”
They try to intercept the Super Senior with an attack, but the Kotka claws his weapon and spin-kicks him away.
From the spin kick, Super Senior lands in a crouched position. His thighs bulk up before he launches himself back at Fujiko.
“GRAAAAAAAH!”
Fujiko is smirking. She looked at his body, and before he pulled his arm back to form a claw formation with his hand, her ear twitched.
Super Senior darts at Fujiko, and this time, she barely evades his attack by ducking underneath and catching him by his neck. Fujiko uses much of her might to stop the momentum of his assault, and chokeslam him onto the wooden pier.
CRASH
The Super Senior was laid out into the wood infrastructure of the pier, winded by the attack. Still, Fujiko holds him by the neck with one hand and with the tip of her rapier next to his temple. Super Senior tries to push back against her, attempting to pry her hand away from his neck, but she is surprisingly strong compared to the suddenly impressive Senior.
“I gave you the offer and tried to be nice, and this is how you repay my kindness?” Fujiko asked, a tang of bloodlust escaping her lips.
The tip of the rapier presses lightly against his temple. The Super Senior is wincing.
“Very well,” She laughed. “I tried being nice. We could have come here and left without an issue, instead we’ll leave taking everything!”
Fujiko reeled her arm to stab Super Senior through the heart, but right before she could strike, Fujiko’s ear twitched. She side-eyed the potential threat, but it was too late. She could only raise her arm to block the attack as the stray attack of someone’s foot landed against her shoulder, sending Fujiko flying and skidding across the ground.
She breaks her fall and comes to a stop. She raises her head, strands of dark hair resting on her furious eyes.
“Who would dare…?!”
Standing in front of the Super Senior was Lucerna. The young Kotka tilts her head slightly, glaring at Fujiko, readying a fighting stance.
“Yo…”
