Aria returned home after a long day, hoping to find some comfort. However, upon opening the door, she was greeted by her mother and an unknown man, yet another suitor. Her mother's cold gaze and the tense atmosphere in the room made her feel even more isolated. Without saying a word, Aria retreated to her room, leaving behind a heavy silence, laden with repressed emotions.
In her room, Aria let her restrained emotions burst forth. Her mother, aware of the discomfort she had caused, came to knock on her door, trying to start a discussion. The dialogue that followed was marked by contained anger and accumulated frustrations. Aria finally expressed her feelings, her mother trying as best she could to justify her choices, but the words spoken and unspoken revealed the depth of the wounds and misunderstandings that separated them.
Carla: *Knocks on Aria's bedroom door without waiting for an answer and enters with a determined step.* "Aria, it's time for us to have a serious conversation. I can't keep ignoring how I feel."
Aria, surprised by her mother's attitude, gets up from her desk, her eyebrows furrowed.
Carla: *Sitting firmly on the bed, Carla stares at her daughter with determination.* "Listen, I know you're upset about the current situation, but it's time for you to understand that sometimes things have to change, even if it bothers you."
Aria: *Crosses her arms, her gaze hard, ready to defend herself.* "You can't just come in here and decide everything without consulting me. You don't know what I feel, what I'm going through. You can't just impose your choices without letting me express my own opinions."
Carla: *Answering firmly, but also with a hint of understanding.* "I understand that you're angry, but it's time for you to realize that sometimes, as a parent, I have to make decisions for the good of the family. I want you to know that everything I do is because I love you and I want the best for you."
Aria: *In a firm and determined voice.* "Mom, divorcing Dad wasn't for the good of the family, it was selfish of you. You just wanted to be able to do what you wanted, have fun without thinking about the consequences it would have on us. You can't just ignore my opinion and act like I don't exist."
Carla: *Annoyed, heading towards the door.* "You don't understand everything, Aria. You're still a child, you can't see things like an adult. You'll see one day. »
Between the scathing retorts and the unshed tears, Aria and her mother confronted the reality of their tumultuous relationship. The unsaid and the unfulfilled expectations finally burst into the open, giving way to a true catharsis. In the midst of this tense dialogue, painful truths were spoken, opening the way to a possible reconciliation or an even greater distance between mother and daughter.
