The forest fell silent for a heartbeat, the air thick with tension. Only the rustling leaves and the whisper of the wind could be heard, as if the world itself was holding its breath...
"So you're just gonna sta—" The demonic cultivator's taunt was cut short as Tian Ping's sword sliced through the air in a wide, lightning-fast arc aimed directly at his neck.
CLANG!
The man barely managed to lift his blade in time, deflecting the strike. But even with his defense, the sheer force of the blow sent him hurtling backward.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
He crashed from tree to tree, each impact louder than the last, before finally slamming into the ground. His body rolled and skidded, tearing up the earth in a chaotic trail. With a desperate move, he planted his blade into the ground, dragging a deep line in the soil as he fought to slow his momentum.

Tian Ping walked forward, slowly, deliberately, as if savoring each step. The dust began to settle, revealing the cloaked man in a pitiful state—his limbs twisted in unnatural angles, blood seeping from countless wounds.
"You don't look so good," Tian said, his voice cold, devoid of any trace of pity. His eyes were merciless, fixed on the broken figure in front of him.
The demonic cultist coughed, blood dribbling from his lips. He didn't respond, just lay there gasping, his chest rising and falling in labored breaths.
"Who sent you to kill Zhou Lan?" Tian demanded, his tone unyielding, each word like a blade as he closed the distance between them.
The cultist's lips curled into a pained sneer. "Cough... Cough... You think I'd tell you anything?" His voice was weak, but defiant. "Why don't you just... DIE!"
A surge of demonic energy erupted from his body, swirling around him like a storm. It built up rapidly, like a torrent filling a glass to its brim his—

[Narrator] ………
"You must think I'm stupid enough to let you finish what you were doing,"
Tian pings blade pierced through his entire body and deep into the hill leaving only the lower half of his body. The brutal scene almost looked poetic.
