she decided to take a longer break in this room to recover slightly. she entered the healing machine again. she didn't know why, but she could feel herself get stronger every time she used the machine. she felt as though there was something wrong, but she didn't mind since it wasn't being used against her.

the best part was that she could feel the seal in her body fade away slightly every time she woke up. thinking of the seal, she placed a hand on the left side of her stomach. she couldn't see it, but she could still feel the seal present there.

she shook her head and went through the usual procedures to enter the healing machine. it closed with a hiss, and filled up as usual. soon, she fell into a deep sleep.

the black clothed girl watched Mimin as she slept. she reached into the darkness and pulled out a vial, just like she had many times before. this time, the liquid was coloured bright green, just like the colour of Mimi's eyes.

she did the procedure as usual, but this time, perhaps due to her body having adapted to the pain a little, she didn't thrash around as much. when the liquid was fully absorbed.

she went to a certain compartment and opened it, taking out a different set of clothes for Mimi to wear. this time, she didn't add a mask, but instead pulled out a sword.

placing the clothes on a nearby chair and the sword on the terminal, darkness began to cover her once more. the further they moved, the more her power grew.

"this time, I'll give you only one chance to prove yourself." leaving behind those words, she vanished.

Mimi woke up after a few hours. she felt like her body was lighter, almost as if before the seal was placed on her.

*no way that's possible.* she smiled and thought to herself. she waited until the liquid drained out, before she walked out of the machine. well, she tried to, but stumbled on her own weight. looking back, she saw that her wings has grown back to their former glory, even surpassing their previous wingspan.

still in disbelief, she tried flexing her wings, but was stopped by the glass walls of the machine, which brought her back to her senses. *right, i should try it in the next chamber.* she hurried forward, checking for the change of clothes she always found waiting for her. 

this time, she was surprised to see that there was no mask. instead, on a terminal, there was a sword. it was white, with the edge of the blade in a bright green, and the sword had highlights of gold on it. it almost felt as though..

"it was made for me?" Mimi couldn't believe it. she closely examined the sword, and finally found some text. though it was tiny, Mimi was able to make out her name on the hilt of the blade. this was enough to blow away all her doubts, and start new doubts.

"but this sword, it's perfect. everything about it is perfect." Mimi swung it in the air, and it felt great to use. pushing away her doubts, she decided to continue the trials, and maybe she would get her answers.

she left the room behind her, and it slowly faded and vanished as if it had never been there. Mimi, seeing this, understood that there was no longer any other way but forward. she calmed herself and turned to face her first opponent.
