Kayda flipped through the huge book

“The rest of the book talks about the powers and how to use them.” Kayda said

“Let’s check the other books”I said

We both searched through the set of books.

“Here” I urged Kayda who was looking through the other half.

The title said ‘Celestia:The Kingdom’

I opened the book as Kayda stood beside me. It had the map of kingdom Celestia

“woah its so much bigger than what it is today” she gasped

“It is, where did the rest of the land go?”I asked

“I don’t know, we gotta read to know about that.”she said

I read the book out loud

“The celestial dragon, admired the kind soul and the leader within King Alaric, and thus bestowed his own soul to the king quoting,

The predecessors of you shall possess the qualities you have and my soul will awaken on the ones worthy enough.

“The celestial powers unlike others cannot appear from birth, it may remain dormant in one’s body and can let another power become their source for magic.”

“Look their picture.” She pointed at the picture on the next page.

the picture was a bit smudged because of the old pages, but we could still make out their faces to an extent.

A tall handsome man with a gorgeous woman with a baby on her hand, another young child, a boy standing next to the man, all dressed in their flashy royal attire

The foot note said

King  Emeric with Queen Aria and

their heir prince Kai and  princess Moriko

“oh see, namedrop of your brother” I said as Kayda giggled

“This seems like my parents didn’t have good names so they took reference from the history books” she chuckled “we can discuss about those later, now read” she shook her head

“Queen Aria was the wielder of earth soul, their daughter Moriko was born with unmatched healing abilities. It is said that the magic arised due to the mix of celestial soul with the earth soul. Kai wielded , the soul of earth, like his mother.”

“During this time, The ruler of Valerink, who possessed the soul of fire, turned against the rest of the rulers for reasons unknown.”

“Oh now that’s a new information.” Kayda said

“She unleashed war upon all the other six kingdoms with the assistance of malachite shader. She was defeated by an overwhelming difference of power between her and the other kings”

“Moriko went on to become the queen of Everglade and Celestia was ruled by King Kai after the time of King Alaric.”

“After a century, the celestial soul was awakened, in princess Kayda of Celestia.” I read the last line of that page.

I shot her a look before I turned the page, my eyes grew wide as I saw the next page.

“Ah, this is getting creepy” Kayda said, her face pale as she saw the picture

It was Kayda, can’t find a single difference in their physical appearance.

The fairedust that helped bring the books sat on the picture, it must be just as curious as us.

 The small light from it showed the blackish purple silk dress that embraced her curves. The cape extended to the floor. Her long silky black hair was the only difference I could point out.

“Well her hair seems black, yours is dark brown” I said in attempts to relieve her.

“Its black probably because of the old book.” She said

It did make sense.

The ringing phone startled us both suddenly.

“Ash?” she said after picking the call up.

“Why are you here”. She said after she paused for his reply.

“oh, we are coming wait outside.” she said to the phone before putting it in her pocket.

“We gotta go. They are at the entrance.” She said

We both hurried out the library and closed it before sprinting downstairs.

“Hey princess” A handsome man extended his hand to Kayda, whose face was red as a tomato, and I don’t think it’s because we sprinted.

This must be Ash. I thought to myself as I pursed my lips to hide the smirk forming.

“Ah save the lovey-dovey for some other time” Izar spoke beside kai who was smirking at them

Ash shot a glare at them

“What, we gotta go” Izar protested

“Get in” kai ordered
