It has been two weeks since Carter and Liam made a deal. The park was full of fallen leaves, wich painted the ground with a thousand shades of yellow and red. The sunlight made everything look so much warmer, if someone took just looked outside of their window they must have thought the weather was nice today. Despite the sunshine  it was cold outside. Liam pulled his jacked tighter to protect himself from the wind, leaves danced around him gracefully as he walked to an old jewlery store. He often wandered around it as a child, looking at the delicate necklaces and more importantly the beautiful rings. The things this place had to offer always made his eyes sparle with joy, it was his dirty little secret an alpha wasn't supposed to like these kinds of stuff let alone do what he was here for today: to buy the engagment rings. He could feel himself getting a little nervous as he pushed the door open and stepped in.

"Can I help you?" The question came from a young woman with green eyes and brown hair.

"Ah, yes. I'm looking for engagement rings" Carter answered nervously.

"Engagement rings?" The woman -Samantha based on her nametag- asked trying to hide her shock "Um, well you've come to the best place sir, ladies usually love our rings, I'm sure your omega will be pleased with it too" she said putting on a buisness smile, afterall a costumer is a costumer even if they're strange.

"I- actually, I was hoping to get male ones." Cartet felt his heartbeat getting faster.

"So you're marrying a male omega sir?" Now it was Samantha's turn to get nervous, she seemingly had trouble keeping up the smile.

"Yeah, you know I'm not supposed to tell you that, but we have a baby on the way and I just want to make it less stressful for him with something romantic." He said.

"Oh, I get it. Congratulations! I'll show you what we got and hopefully the future mother will like them!" The lady was happier now knowing the couple was expecting a baby. "We have a few designs. May I suggest matching rings?" she asked.

" That's a great idea, I'm sure he'll love it! " The alpha smiled, but he had a bad feeling after the beta called his soon-to-be husband a mother.

They looked trough all of the rings together and Carter settled on a pair of rose gold rings with black diamonds. They looked perfect for them and the color reminded him of Liam's hair. The rings weren't cheap by any means, but it was worth it. He thanked the employee for her help and hurried to his car. He left it near the park. The alpha wrote a note to remined himself to buy the wedding bands from a gay friendly store.

Liam's classes have finally ended and he couldn't have been happier. Trying to hide his pregnancy from everyone was exhousting, it was getting more and more obvious each day and he could feel all the curious eyes on him. He was wearing one of Carter's hoodies, it was big on him, but he didn't mind it and the rainy smell of the fabric brought him some comfort. Him and Luca were on their way home when he noticed the father of his child standing in front of the school. Carter went up to them with a big smile and hugged Liam tightly. The omega was surprised by the events, he didn't know the alpha would come here today. The olter male let go after a minute and got down on one knee. That was the moment when Liam understood what was happening, this was the public proposal he asked for.

"Liam, I'll be honest with you I never thought I would end up with another guy, but the monent I saw you at Luca's party I knew you were special. You made me feel things I didn't think another guy could. You are so nice and funny, you love kids, you compliment me perfectly. I think I've found my other half, but I think your father would kill me, if I tried to mate you right off the bat. So will you be my husband?" After he finished talking Carter pulled a little box out of his pocket and showed the rings. The alpha was smiling.

"Yes, I'll be your husband!" The omega said with tears forming in his eyes, he knew this was a lie, a trick to buy them some time before mating, but it was a beautiful proposal.

Liam was really happy, because Carter bought matching rings and he actually liked them quite a lot. He never wanted to get married, but he had to admit it was romantic. When they put the engagement rings on eachother a lot of people were looking at them, watching their every move like hawks. The crowed seemed somewhat confused, but decided to let it go for now. The newly engaged couple held hands and walked to the alpha's car to go home. They heard a few people congratulating them, the first one being Luca who watched the full thing from up close.

"I think you should come in!" Liam said with a genuine smile on his face.

"Do your parents know about our engagement plane?" Carter asked.

"Yeah, dad wasn't exactly thrilled about it, but this is a great chance for you two to talk it out!"

"Okay, let's do this" The alpha sighed...
